As a heterosexual male, we cant really judge males based on sexuality. But we do have ways of determining such things. As men, we dont see another man and think about sexuality the way a woman does. We can look at men and think something along the lines of, "I bet he pulls the women," or "If I looked like that guy I bet I could hook up with a lot of women," etc....

 

Just like in real life. I'm not gay, but I know that Brad Pitt can pull the women.

 

Therefore based on this way of looking at things, and based on MALE SEXUALITY(male sexuality equates to being hot enough to get laid by hot women), we could make our choice based on which character we'd like to be. And if I could be any male from the series, I'd choose Mat.

 

Mat seems the type of guy I wouldt mind walking around in his shoes. And although it WOULD be nice to be Rand, with the fact that he does get to sleep with Aviendha, Min, AND Elayne(god bless his dragon soul), I'd still have to say Mat. The Daughter of the Nine Moons aint too shabby. And I bet shes a virgin. :)

I'm a woman, but I can look at another woman and think 'bet the blokes would like her' without feeling any attraction myself*, so I'm with Brujah (on that at least.....) . And my husband can look at other men and ask me 'is he male crumpet'. After all, we all have an instinctive understanding of how to attract the opposite sex, so we can recognise the signs. If we don't feel the attraction, it's because the physical is only one facet of a multi-sided phenomenon, and other facets take precedence.
