No, I think you are townish. You and Soy thought me suspicious from the start. The mafia wouldn't do that. Though you might be something strange.

Good to hear that Key, especially since I've been doing townie work since D1. GF on the other hand has actually been here and posted, but voted for none of the scum we have gotten rid of. While that may not make him scum per se, his play so far has been scummiesh, and seems to be the best candidate that I can see. And Jack can poke fos's at me all he likes, but there really can be no denying that GF hasn't played a very pro-town game while I have. Lynch who you like in the end I reckon, but I can promise everyone here that lynching me will hurt the town in ways that haven't been brought to light as of yet.

I was thinking that the vote might go to other directions than us, but with that post, particularly so soon after mine, I am ever more convinced(well I was just suspicious earlier, now there is an inclination to believe) that Ishy actually is skum. He made a defensive post where none was needed per se.

So I've concluded that I don't think GF is scum. Incredibly scummy, he has not played a town friendly game at all, but I don't think he is scum. My reasoning is that Soybomb and Ishy have both been gunning for him most of the game, and Ishy I think is scum. I have gone through and taken a lot of notable quotes from the game and put them into a word document, here I will post them all, with comments just above each one noting my views on that. Then I'll explain why I have come to my conclusions.

 

Soybomb attempting to frame Noldor in with Amega and GF:

Personally I think that there may be a connection between you and Amega. You voted for him even though he was doing what you wished more people would do (not joke vote... yes yes I know we already had that discussion). Then maybe you got cold feet once GF voted for Amega and evened you and Amega up. Then once another person voted for you, you put your vote back on Amega when it was not longer as dangerous.

So my last question is, are you claiming Vanilla Town? Or do you you have a role you're claiming? We Southerners wanna know....

 

And now Min disassociates herself with Ishy.

Poor Ishy, people always think you are scum. I don't this game, which is weird. Just not getting that vibe from him.

 

GF that is why revealing is so hard on the town. Without that reveal out there the mafia has no clue who to kill. Which is a wonderful idea for us. I like them to be clueless personally.

 

I just knew Nolder was acting fishy. Serial Killer is more mafia aligned if I remember. Which also makes me wonder if he knew the mafia and could cover for them. Makes me suspect everything he said now. You all thought I was nuts too with my "too town" thinking. Now you can all sleep better tonight.

 

Soybomb starts his min bus and distances himself from everyone. Early in his attacks on GF.

I think we need to take a deep look into Min, Ishy and GF.

 

I don't know about solid tangible evidence against Min. There have been some posts that are kinda vague and maybe contradictory, but when I read her posts my stomach kinda churns. So I think some pressure for more material from her is a great idea.

 

Ishy, asking for claim of any kind shoots you right to the top of my watch list. Especially when you ask for a claim from someone you've already fingered as fishy.

 

And GF, I haven't really seen anything from you that has contributed in any significant way. You have been making posts that say a lot of nothing. I don't have any other games that I've played with you to reference your game play, so maybe that's normal, but that kind of non-active activity always seems a little... not right, to me.

 

A weak defense for the rolefishing post.

It looks like I was role-fishing, but I wasn't. In one post, GF was saying something about being vanilla mafia which he then corrected himself, saying he meant vanilla townie. I was just asking for a clarification. It wasn't until the next day that I saw that he was speaking about a previous game not this one. Chalk it up to my skimming, he and I had a pretty fast and furious back and forth going at that time. I'll be happy to claim laziness, but not scumminess. And you're right Amega, I have played enough games by now to know better.

 

And btw, I really have to stop drinking on Friday nights and thinking that that is a good time to get active. Looking back on some of those posts I made just makes me cringe. What makes sense to me after a half dozen shots looks like gibberish to me now.

See I hate when people go all martyr... My vote was on you is purely based on a gut feeling. I don't like that we've asked for a little clarification from you and all you do is go all whiney britches on us and complain how we're all out to get you. That just adds to your scummyness and gives me something other than just a "gut feeling" against you now.

 

However, there are some other very viable candidates out there (Ishy and GF in my book)and it seems this vote is going very fast without at least considering anyone else.

I am a townie. See that's easy to say and it really doesn't matter or hold relevance. I did build a small/slight case. It may not of been giant but it was as good as anybody else's for day 1.

 

Sakaea is bent on Jack, based on Verbal's case. Note that Sakaea dies the following night.

That's a lynch already! Goes to show, suspecting me from the start can be a sign of skumminess

 

Bold 1 - 3 player scum team. PING! Its a 16 player game, almost certain that the scum team will have 4.

Bold 2 - Hammer vote on the SK. PING! Easy to hammer somebody you know isn't friendly to your team. We'll look at your voting patterns soon.

Bold 3 - Because bussing teammates to look innocent is not a viable idea at all. In fact, Soybomb has already done this.

Not really defensive says I, just a factual statement. If we have the standard 3 scum team in this game, it would make zero sense for me to vote out both of my teammates. If I were scum, would I really want to play the rest of the game solo? What would be the upside for me in that scenario?

 

And as an aside, I was actually the hammer vote on the SK. All three votes I have cast (not counting goofy D1 check-in vote) have all gone on anti-town players. Lynch me if you must, but I've played a pro-townnie this entire game. Have some of my posts been a little shall we say, strange (drunken)? Most probably. A little incoherent? Most definitely. But on all 3 days we have nabbed 2 skum and an SK, and I had a hand in all 3. If I were scum (and I'm not), anyone who ever found themselves on a scum team with me in other games would quit on the spot. But with your greater mafia knowledge, if there could be a situation where a scum could benefit from killing off his own team, please share it with me, I like learning new things.

 

Going after GF in a very defensive manner (as he has been all day)

Actually, dropping Kiv's name wasn't my defense, it was my infallible logic I thought.

 

And to continue on my last point, if you look back to Tina's recap in the games second post, there is one, and only one, player that didn't cast a vote to lynch Min and Soy both. And it's someone that has had fos's thrown at him by just about everyone here. He also didn't cast a vote to lynch our SK, but I'm willing to not count that as he wouldn't have known we had an SK just like everyone else. But that being said, I would think he would be a far better candidate than me. If noone else thinks so, then I don't know what else to say. I've mounted my defense, take it or don't, but I've played a pro-town game the whole time. I win with town and have been doing everything I can to make that happen.

 

Oh, just realized I didn't say who that player was, but anyone who's been playing the whole time should know who it is without me saying or checking the mod's recap. GF.

 

 

Now, I would like to note that I have far from quoted all the relevant quotes, and this post probably looks a bit disjointed because of it. Anyways, now to look at voting patterns from the past days:

Day 1 - Ishy hammers.

Day 2 and 3 - Ishy is right smack in the middle of the vote count. A very easy place to bandwagon and hide.

 

GF has been under heavy heavy scrutiny since day 1, and not without reason. His gameplay has bee incredibly scummy, but he's been at odds with Soybomb entirely too much, and some of his points towards Soybomb (utterly ignored at the time) were actually quite valid ones. I don't think it was a distancing fight, I think it was Soybomb trying to pick an easy lynch, and Ishy trying to help him out.

 

I think Ishy has been playing very defensively since Jack noted him, and before that he played alongside Soybomb quite well, the only times they went after each other being when Soybomb listed Ishy as a potential scum candidate, and after Soybomb was outed by Key. He has also bandwagoned 2 of the votes, and the other one he hammered, but only after making it clear that he didn't want to hammer Nolder.

So thoughts on the game? with 16 players there would usually be 1/4 anti town players. We are down a SK and 2 scum, which potentially means we have 1 scum left, 2 at most.

 

I am not getting the scummy feel from Ishy, nor from you Barm. Key feels town to me also. GF is the one that stands out the most to me at this stage in time.

Ok, well, I hesitate to make this move, but at this stage a lynch can happen quickly. I am Vanilla town. The play may have been suspicious, but on the other hand, one must try things. Essentially, I am a fairly safe lynch, but on the other hand it would be better to catch more skum. But I don't want to confuse the matter either, I think I have played my hand already and it is for others to decide their votes.

I would recommend starting with Amega. I still think GF is innocent and that Soybomb was trying to lynch him because he's an easy lynch. I know I would do the same in a scum situation. One of the thoughts I had when going through the game yesterday, however, was that Soybomb was rather intent on the Nolder lynch, possibly to try and protect Amega.

 

Krak and Jack have been too quiet thusfar this game for me to get a good read on. Krak needs to make another post and soon, I don't think he's made a single game related post yet?
