Just rolled my 20 sided die and it came up ten so I'm going to vote for keyholder, this is my first game y'all so be brutal so I can learn the ropes!

The breeze gently lifts your hair from your face, and you close your eyes let the cool air surround you, relieved. The fire escape isempty and silent, welcome counterpoints to the operations room where it’s hard to tell whether the temperature is higher, or the level of anxiety.

Cities are all the same, and at the same time, each different in a million subtle ways. New York thrums with a constant energy, a current that pushes and excites you, pulling you in and along like a rope that you could almost hold…

Paris is different. It is light, airy, and has an energy, but much less intrusive. It’s a coy thing, that energy, playful but with just atiny edge of deceit.

 

Regardless, both cities are the same in that they both live above an endless network of tunnels underneath their streets, and after last month, you have no desire to experience what New York has to offer. The Catacombs of Paris are vast, home to over six million dead, and as you trace your finger down the scars across your arm, your pulse picks up a little too much. It was close to being six million and one. Much too close.

You’d never suffered from claustrophobia before, but as the vampire cornered you in the cavern lined with the skulls and bones of the dead, you became increasingly aware that you were trapped. You panicked. Blood hammered through your veins like grit, and you were all but immobile as the thing stared into your eyes, fangs stretching forward to the pulsing vein in your neck… The gunshot was almost inaudible to you as your world closed in, but you do remember the vampire suddenly disappearing in a darkened blur, and sound returning slowly to your world. You found out later that it was the hypnosis more than anything that created the panic within you. They said that it would fade with time.

It didn’t.

Almost like a cruel joke, a subway train rattles deep beneath you, reminding you that the depths, and what lives there, await your return. The wind has stopped.

You don’t feel very good about this mission at all.

Hmmm Tina your vote on Min is interesting. Maybe you meant Lily because you clearly didn't start a bandwagon, you made it a three way with Min, Lily, and keykey. also interesting that you didn't catch that as you must've known starting the first bandwagon would draw some attention to yourself.

in light of the deadline, i feel we must suspend usual day one foolishness and get on with the serious business of finding the vampires, but we cannot do that unless we have information, and to get information we need time, and time is not a luxury we have right now.

 

so what to do? we cannot wait, and we cannot progress.... i shall place my vote on Tina based on her vote-hopping. as scum, i have grasped straws to place a vote and look as if i am contributing and voted the wrong person, and had to suddenly switch back. just like she is.

Scum doesn't need to grasp at straws on D1. The premise of what he's insinuating here reeks... I am hoping the players here are DM are better than he is suggesting by implying a scum player would actually jump out like this on D1.

You have a point about Tina's vote hopping, hoof but then you came right back and tied the vote at three again, even after saying we are short of time, thats reeks of a team play, but mafia or town idk yet. With so few players checked in I wonder if we have a chance at a majority unless absolutely all of us pick one candidate.

Just going to point out that Tina seems to have meant to vote for Lily, not Min. That isn't vote hopping, that's just called being tired.

 

 

That being said, Hoof's post that JM pointed out seems rather scummy. But. Hoof has often proven to sound scummy but to be town. So, I am not jumping to any conclusions on that yet.

lol, I always think Blackie is scum. Maybe because of posts like this. And, contrary to Christine, he often does seem to be in games that I've played with 'im. Despite that it's voting for someone that has one vote as opposed to 3 (Lily), I'm going to unvote, vote Blackhoof for now.

Because it seems to me that we have no time to waste in this game, and that we can't mess up at all. The longer that this game goes, the more that could be turned. It isn't like a normal game where there is a set number of mafia, because the scum can grow quickly in this game.

 

I will be online most of the day, and I don't really know who to vote for yet, although I have a few I am watching, and I will make a better decision later. I don't really like being flippy floppy on my votes, unless it is to get a controlled lynch and we are down on time.
