ConQuest, you can go to here and it gives a rather detailed info on the game. another way you can get a good judge on the game is reading a inished game here on DM. heres a link to JLM's basic game played not to long ago here My link

i woudl highly suggest atleast reviewing the older game, an advanced game might be a bit confusing since you've never played before. but i highly encourage you to join up!! it a very fun game once you get the hang of it and that generally takes a few games to do so :wink:

OMG i'm glad you finally read the series!!! if you have net Flicks, HBO just did the first book as a show and should be releasing the 1st season on DVD in a few months. make sure to catch it cause they did great on staying tru to the book!!! whose your fav character so far and least fav?? the 2nd book is my fav in the series so far :happy:

If you're new to the game, like ConQuest is, that's fine. I'll either Pm you, or set up a Qt so that I can walk you through where you need it.

I will give you this advice though: you should go ahead and give family, friends and especially spouses a warning that your face is about to be glues to the computer for about three weeks (maybe four, you never know). It's better if they're expecting it. Just saying...

cool cool, i read and figured out the gist of how you go about it, but whats the dif between basic and advanced... the roles that take place?

the difference betwen Basic & Advanced is the roles & setups generally. with basic, your dealign with normal roles that are used alot and a simple set up (1 scum team or a SK or a cult)

when you get itno the more advanced set ups the limits for what you can expect in a game number in the trillions. your dealing with tweaked roles that the mod has either made up or re-done, and you can bet there are goign to be some pretty wicked twists that will have you goign OMFG no way!!! and scratchign your head.

with Wes thei OMFG factor is multiplied by 10 because his games are always twisty and you can never tell.

btw, i've poked Mynd to come play in the fun :baalzamon: hopefully he's not too buisy or gets my poke in time. too bad we can't talk lanth into playing here. or maybe dragging Dragon into a game. i've heard Dragon is epic to play with and have yet to have the honor of lynching ... nking ... playing with him
