*Millon slowly walks into the office of the MoN with a..............guest......in tow. This guest moves with an eerie fluidity. Wearing a white dress with the hood pulled well up. Millon glances at his rather nervous partner*

 

Adella, I think we may have a problem. See, I ran into this fellow trying to burry one fo these after stealing a Novice dress. *Millon holds up a sign that reads :"Stop Shadowspawn Abuse. Equal rights for all!"* See MoN *he pulls back the hood of the guest revealing an eyeless face*

 

He just wants a chance to learn! Calm down. It's okay. He was wrather convincing when I had come upon him. Luckily enough I was unarmed at the moment, for him at least, so he was able to convince me before I had a chance to kill him. Can he stay? His name is Chuck. YEAH! I know! Crazy right? Myrdraal have names! Whoda thunk it. Says his brother Jeffry was the first to enlist from his family. Show her the picture Chuck! lol *Fade produces a family photo of 5 myrdraal at a picnic. One wearing an apron and grilling. two lil ones palying in a sand box* That was at the Grand Canyon right Chuck?.................

 

*The MoN is NOT ammused Millon notices by the look of abject 'whatthehelliswrongwithyou,yougonesoftintheheadorsomething?'. Fine fine. Sorry chuck.

Hahaha well Mills, stranger things have happened than a Fade joining the WT. I know this for definite :-)

 

Poor Fade, I feel a bit sorry for it - but full points awarded none the less.

I think Chuck has a point *pushes the gibbering Chuck's sword so it points away from her* not that point, Chuck anyway where was I? Oh right. We've got a Trolloc at the Warders *clutches ears at the high pitched squeal that bursts from Chuck* so why can't we have a Fade as a novice? Hush now, Chuck - novices speak when they're spoken to, okay? You'll look EVER so pretty in novice whites - I promise.

Mother, I think you really have lost it! I absolutely can NOT handle seeing that eyeless face everyday. I mean, Narg is different. He's cute and feathery and mostly able to contain himself (in other words, not kill and/or eat any Aes Sedai, Warders or aspies) but a Fade? Seriously, you have to at least paint some eyes on him, or make him wear sunglasses whenever he's out and about in the Tower. And you have to make a Warder bond him so someone will know where he is at all times because, honestly, Mumsy, I just can't trust a Fade. They're so . . . so . . . creepy!

 

*shakes her head in disgust*

Get Fit Challenge

 

Aha! Found him! This sneaky fellow has been hiding from me all day!

 

 

if you're game, stick with me here and watch as we finally make good on these long overdue fitness goals!

 

 

Daruya wandered back through the White Halls. After killing that last Fade she realized she needed to keep in better shape and what better place to do it than in the White Ajah they were already working on that and welcomed any and all to join them (excepting Fades, of course).

 

As she entered the fitness room, she saw some of the equipment Charis had borrowed from the Warders - heavy iron objects call "dumbbells" and other weird contraptions. She hefted one of the dumbbells experimentally. Solid, a bit heavy, but do-able, she thought. Now what to do with it? Did it come with instructions? Wait, there on the wall were diagrams showing how to use the various equipment. That's just what she needed! As she studied the diagrams and practiced the various exercises, she kept an eye on the door hoping Charis would come in so they could chat. When the door finally opened, she brightened but her smile soon faded as she saw the familiar inky-black cloak and pasty eyeless face. The Fade flowed toward her with a mocking grin on its face.

 

"Those exercises will not help you," it said in a voice that sounded like the tearing sound of rotting cloth. "Prepare to die, worm."

 

As he came within arm's reach of her and began to draw his sword, she swung wildly with the dumbbell, connecting solidly with his smirking face. She watched with clinical detachment as the smirk was wiped off his face by the weight of the dumbbell -- indeed, as his face was wiped off of his face by the weight of the dumbbell. As he stopped dead in his tracks, she wrenched the sword out of his hand and, giving it a smooth swing, neatly severed his faceless head.

 

"Well, as they always say," Daruya murmured, "no pain, no gain!"

Got 'im! Which is awesome because a) I had looked here earlier and b) I thought of a good way to kill 'im while at the gym!

Nae posted this a while back in SG and I saved it in my favorite. It's a site with all sorts of hats. I think it's super cute so I figured I'd share it here too.

The sounds of fighting had all but stopped in the Tower. It was once again quiet and peaceful...except for the occasional crazy laughter and the novices playing tricks on Accepted and Aes Sedai. BUT that was normal and thus a welcome sound.

 

Key was wandering around checking out the carnage when she wandered into the Yellow halls. There, a Fade was standing, staring down at his...brother's? body. His lips were curled up in a snarl and he was muttering under his breath.

 

He looked up as she came in, face seeming to stare at her even without eyes. "YOU!" he said.

 

"Uh, who, me?" Key said, very conscious of the blood that had soaked along the hem of her dress, and of the large spot on her left side. That Fade in the Green halls had been particularly er...splashy.

 

"Yes!" The Fade said, his voice giving her the picture of maggots writhing. "You Q@*(%&ing #*#()*#)(%*)(&@&!)(, #@%()%*&)(#*)(&^ #&(*@!!!!!!!" (Edited for content)

 

Key's eyes got real big as the Fade swore at her. She looked around hurriedly and then ducked when the heard a whooshing noise coming ....well, she never knew where it came from, but it was there.

 

The Fade noticed her reaction, but sadly for him, not in enough time. His eyeless face would forever look confused as the PG-13 sign came bearing down on him and chopped 's head off.

 

"It's a strict rule." Key said to the corpse. Curtsying to the sign she backed away slowly and hightailed it outta there to the Blue wing.
