I don't hate Elayne, I hate the fact that she was given so much time in the last few books when her story felt like it was going nowhere/could've been resolved in two chapters.  She didn't need to be "on-screen" for so much of the last few books (before TGS, of course).

Seriously, the guy is awesome. The impact he has had on the story cannot be understated. In fact, I would rank him on par with other great villains such as Rahvin and Ishamael. Lets take a quick look, and I'm sure you'll all agree with me by the end of this post.

 

'Narg smart.' Truly an incredible example of his bestial intelligence, pretending to be dead until Rand came back. What other WoT villain has had such foresight? None. Truly Narg is the most intelligent adversary Rand has ever faced.

 

'Narg want to talk.' Again, another excellent example of Narg's cunning, trying to trick Rand into conversing with the enemy, in a clear attempt to seduce him to the dark side. Not even Ishamael managed to do so.

 

And then there's the name. 'Narg'. Out of all the thousands of trollocs seen in WoT, this special example was given a name. Truly this beast was meant for greater things, and I for one find it hard to believe that he is really dead. Perhaps he still lives. After all, 'Narg smart.'.

 

 

I would like to add that the above post is, in fact, very silly and should not be taken seriously under any circumstances, and I apologise to any posters who were swayed by my ridiculous analysis.

Ishamael. His PoV shows that his relationship with the Lews Therin/Rand was just business and not personal, and then in TGS he orders Graendal to cause Rand emotional pain. Not because of a personal grudge, not because of some spurt of rage, but because the payoff will almost definitely be worth it, and it will achieve everything he has worked for, he would finally have control over the Fisher King. He always looks at the bigger picture, his moves are always the biggest, and I think he deserves the demonic reputation that built up around the Forsakens names more than any of the others by far.

Mazrim Taim. What a guy. Alviarin should work for him. Taims got a load of non-Darkfriend Aes Sedai bonded to Darkfriend Ashaman IIRC, and some of those are Compulsion-bonded? That would be an awesome tool for the Shadow and I think Alviarin would be a good person to run that operation on Taims behalf.   Ishamael messing about with the White Tower again.

 

Alivia. Logain should bond her. I thinks she'd be a good character to give Cyndanes name on her killcount although realistically I dont think it would happen. Shes the only person of the Light that knows her face to be evil as far as we know, because of their encounter at the Cleansing.
