if you ask the questions right, you get an answer that might help. ask variations. i know barms has an encyclopedia over there- if only because that was wes's way of teasing me. (smarmacral, how do you ask me questions than me?) ;) heck i've gotten pafo along side a yes, sort of. keep trying.

I also find it odd that Red doesn't know her faction, Lily.  Maybe her faction is "Uber Evil Amber Liquid Drinking Manipulating Baddies" and she can't think of a good fake claim.  Then again, how hard is it to claim Captain?  Maybe she doesn't know her faction =S

"Minister's Men" is known to me and my friends (none of whom are Alys) to be a valid Town faction.  I believe that is what Alys has suggested she is; not sure if that means she is also Town.

 

That was before I asked the right question. But glance back at the thread; it’ll prove my point. There have been spies, bonda, beva, minister’s men, captains… and in the story line witches. That’s… 6. There’s another. Beware assassin’s blades.

 

Are all town people on a Mason team?  I played a DPR(I think) game where that was the case.  (It sucked because I was mafia and we were killed once the fact that all townies were on mason teams in groups of 4 was revealed).  I count 4 groups of Mason's that have been discussed which makes 12 people if they are all groups of 3.

see, it's simple. wes is a brilliant tactician. it's that godawful flexibility. he can be complex in the same sentence he's simple. he has created all the smoke and mirrors you could want. complexity to mask simplicity. he doesn't have to poison both glasses because he wants you to do that for him. and he's set it up so it's all but impossible not to. he knows we all count on him to make this game different from every other we've been playing. we all wonder just how devious he can get. he set it up to appear hard, only it's not. because he tells you what must be done. after that, it's smoke and mirrors.

 

the story, the mod descriptions told me mine wine was not poisoned. i'll drink it then. beva is the minister's man.

Jeran, is the Minister's Men faction called the "Beva Perrada" faction?

 

It's the name Alys gave that I was questioning, not the presence of such a faction in the game.

 

It would be nice to know for sure what the faction is called.

also if i get too close to team arrangement, i get pafo. had lots of questions on spies and symps given pete's question and the faction set up that was discussed yesterday. don't remember who suggested mason teams might have a mafia spy...

And as for the vote, I'm going to go with [glow=red,2,300]Alys[/glow] for now. Like Lavinya said, if there is compelling reason not to vote for her, I'd like to see it clearly and simply stated (please no more pages of walls of text!!! LOL!)

"I wish you wouldn't"

 

Aemon shakes his head, "I trust you. I know you can do it."

 

Wombat takes the stone. "I wish I had your confidence. It's one thing to try and please the crowd, or even to do somethign to help the Hall. But you know better..."

 

The crystal is pushed into the Wombat's palm. Aemon closes Wombat's fingers around the stone. 'You can do it."

 

Wombat closes his eyes.

 

When he opens them, they glow like fire. Yellow and orange light leaks from his clasped hand, and as his mouth opens into a rictus of pain, smoke drifts form his eyes.

 

Quickly, Aemon grabs his hand, realising his mistake too late.

 

Wombat convulses, the light pulsing from his eyes in a way that witch would no means that control has been lost.

 

And any control has certainly been lost.

 

Aemon catches Wombat's body, and lowers it to the ground. All to quickly the light fades and Wombats hand falls open. The trapstone glitters harmlessly, seductively.

 

WOMBAT, WITCH AND ROLEBLOCKER, TOWN, HAS BEEN KILLED.

Alys' answers are working for me. I'm wary because she is such an experienced player, but Red frankly looks the most suspicious to me.
