Tigs was on last night but didn't vote for Aemon.  I say we test her after MCS then return to our regularly scheduled programming.

I'm not sure if Lavinya's unvote and new vote are going to count because she didn't glow the unvote so lets be on the safe side and get one more vote on mcs before we move on to Lily.

Stupid to oppose the majority when innocents don't die.

However, I will be highly suspicious if the same person/few people keep starting the bandwagons and thus keep our votes away from them. The longer the recruiter is active, the more chance he has of making more recruiters. And the less chance we have of maintaining the majority. Hmm sounds like I'm lecturing. Just thinking out loud. I like these quick votes, but I will be watching for repeat lynch leaders! :)

This I totally agree with. JLM began the aemon bandwagon, Pookie began the MCS. Keep a close eye on those who jumped immediately on the bandwagons.

Honestly, I am more keeping my eye out for someone who tries to get us not to vote for them.

Something about this post is just not right. I mean, it's so blatantly obvious (EVERYONE knows it would be suspicious to evade a vote) so why say it at all? The first sign of over-cautious scum?

I have played at least 3 of these games. Trust me this is NOT bandwagoning. The best way for the innocents to win is go through a very fast test of all players BEFORE the master has a chance to recruit. The only way we will know if we have been through everyone is to go in order.

People we need to watch are people who fight the clear, logical approach to this. I've been turned in a game before and the first thing I did was try to disrupt the flow that had been going on. We have 12 hours before the Master can recruit. If we can get through these 19 people before then we can win.

Btw, listen to JLM. Her last sentence sums up nicely how we will win this game.

I'll only have internet access for about 1 more hour today, and also tomorrow about the same window. So let me use my votes by not forgetting to vote yourselves...

"Dude, what's that?"

MCS has a hand pressed againt his neck. Blood is seeping through his fingers.

"It's nothing...seriously. Some flying piece of something from the firefight must have nicked me. But I'm fine, don't worry."

He doesn't see the two hunters that have crept up behind him. One tackles the shoulders and the other takes his legs."

"Hey! I said don't worry about it!"

"That's cold!"

The Admiral mumbles something as walks back to the front of the line.

The only thing I have to say is that perhaps we shouldn't be methodical and work down a list. Otherwise, it's too easy for the mafia to manipulate things their way, as they'll know who we'll go for next - at the very least, you're allowing them more information than we have too.

We need to pick a random name next time.

Absolutely not. Unless you are volunteering to be next. 8) IF we can work our way through the whole list in the next ten hours (which wouldn't be hard if we could just get some people on line) we win. Simple, straightforward and foolproof. I get suspicious when people want to start jumping around in this kind of game because it becomes too easy for someone to be overlook, usually the person pushing for the jumping. Speed is our ally here, which would be much easier if there were more people online.

At some point we have to start playing some semblance of mafia though.  I don't see how we can ose track of who we've tested if we, you know, keep track.  Tigs or the Admiral next imo.  Tigs because she didn't vote.  The Admiral because he is the perfect place for Wes to hide the master.

Absolutely I volunteer, check me next  :)

Its gonna be tough (timewise) to get through the whole list within 10 hours when most people aren't online all the time (as you yourself acknowledge). In the event of us not getting through the whole list in the next 10 hours, we need contingency plans - we both know that we won't get through the list, and won't win the easy way. That we're in Wes' game means that is too easy.

I agree that if we don't get through the whole list before a conversion we need another plan, but until then I feel like the only reason to suggest jumping is that the person is trying to get us to overlook them.

Guys I know this seems counter intuitive to mafia sense but this is not a normal mafia game. At this point there is 1 bad guy. If we can track him down and corner him we win.

As for keeping track, I've been in these games when activity suddenly picks up and majorities are reached in minutes, if there is clear cut plan, the vamps can run in and start voting on anyone they want to keep off themselves. It would go like this:

*Vamp dashes in on end of vote for innocent* "[glow] name now lets keep it going! [glow] random name conviently not a vampy

*next innocent* "bandwagon but you haven't been checked yet so you're next"

*vamp* "oh sure"

*innocent two* "last vote on vampy nominated person and then forgets to vote next testee"

*vamp* Okay that's a majority, now let's test [glow] some other innocent

It can be really difficult to catch if they are good at manipulation.

However if we are going in order by a list, and everyone knows and goes along then that kind of ploy becomes rapidly obvious.

The Admiral reaches into his shirt and pulls the cross out. He looks at Wombat.

"I've been holdin' the cross the whole time. Don't get fancy, son, just stay focused. If you let the vamps distract you, and they're gonna try, you may as well just lay down and give up now."

He drops the cross back into his shirt.
