First off, I thnk the Al Jenn comment with the long metal bar was just him putting up a lightning rod because he was skirting thre edges of what we are allowed to talk about.

 

DPR- You mentioned me playing hardball and then disappearing. I must have forgotten to post in this game that I'm visiting my wife's family for a few days and can only get online one or twice a day. My fault and I apologize for the misunderstanding. I'll be back to posting my normal passionate, annoying, makes-everyone-think-I'm-scum posts by tomorrow night, I hope.

 

Alys- I never broke PR. If you would care to check (I know theres a hell of a lot to go through now), I only started posting normally at the beginning of this day. I don't blame you if you daon't want to look for it and I hope you won't hold it against me that I don't want to go back and get the quotes either. On another note, I would like to know why you think the town would be able to activate the artifacts that need to be together (3 of them I think someone mentioned). Some questions on that: How is one townie going to get them all in order to activate them? Why would we want to activate these relics together as they will probably activate the vessel letting Cthulu come through? I think our best bet is to try and keep these relics out of the hands of the mafia and no one activates it if they happen to get all three. I am not going to vote right now as there are many suspicious characters but nothing I can point at to give as a reason for my vote. I do think the Anox, Nae, Alys smackdown is not relevant to the game really, though I will do another reading of it to see if there is anything I might have missed.

I'd think at least a couple others here should have at least mentioned it, but I guess in this game, too many other things to pay attention to. like the relics f-ex.

To address your first question Alys, I asked the finder to reveal an innocent because I am doubtful of the finder claim and thought that if I could push the right buttons then she might have screwed up.  Barm(?), I belive told her not to answer and so she didn't. 

 

Second, I'm glad that I amuse you...but I wasn't trying to gather support with my post I was just plainly stating my thoughts.  Why didn't I go ahead and vote for you?  I don't really know to be honest.  But Danya's post up above is my entire reasoning for voting for you.  So much is being talked about that we aren't doing a great job of getting scum. 

 

Anox, what did you think Alys was lying about in the first place?  It couldn't have been the swiping of the relic, unless you and Pete have a QT board because I'm pretty sure that Pete hadn't mentioned it until yesterday or today (RL).

well tigs, disagree or not, but if we just go after mafia and even if we do that well, we die. end of story. the second win option is how we win and that means trying to understand all of what is going on which is what i have been trying to do. but since it is ""distracting" and unimportant...

 

quibs, i am not trying to do that. i was refering to something like what al jenn did with the posting of relevant links or something. but if it isn't going to help then don't.

 

tigs, she should have 3 names now. i would love to know them. i am pretty sure i know at least one of them, but i would hope to confirm another suspicion. asking her isn't going to get that for us. if she is as bright as we would hope, it was never an option, all posturing aside. the choice was made to believe her and lynch thorum then ignore thorum's apparent ploy and ed's subsequent backing of her. it is done until or unless we have another claim. asking just makes players look bad.

i like to call this relics, roles,  and prs. these are items of note that have been ignored because the mafia hunt is more important.

 

early end to votes- most probably a ritual sacrifice as per game theme and related intel. the sacrifice would help mafia as per provided links.

 

resurrections- most probably the result of the ritualistic sacrifice. bodes ill for the town if you follow game theme.

 

sing-song-of-sixpence- aka pookie's restriction.

 

the riddler- aka aemon's restriction.

 

the silencer- nae's claimed reason for not speaking day 3. anyone else experience this?

 

vote switch- dpr's vote issue.

 

double vote- danya's role? part of me wonders if she had something to do with dpr, but idle thoughts.

 

finder and presumably healer.

 

2 sets of relics with 2 different puroposes. a set of 3 to banish the haunter. a set of 2 for anti town purposes.

 

the shining trapezahedron would presumably be included (supposition based on research quibby said to do). this would set the haunter perpetually free.

no, the implication has been in several players' posts. but i think we have the info we need on them; we need to figure out how to counter them and get the 3 and the 2 into innocent hands.

 

i know it does not seem like much at first glance, but truth to tell, it seems like a lot since we are not supposed to be talking about them in the first place.

No, Pete and I don't have a QT forum just something about the way she said it seemed like a lie to me.

 

I was right, as my instincts usually are.  Although in this case it was a mod mess up, not an actual lie, even though it was still a lie.

 

She is still suspicious as to all the posturing and what not that has been going on, but then she won't actually voice any complete fact opinions so until she actually becomes willing to commit and play the game (name names and etc without dancing around the bush) she is really doing nothing help the town.

 

We need to protect Lav, which I'm sure the healer is doing if they are still around.

There's not much I can tell you about the relic DPR stole from me. As he said, it's an elixir. Not sure if naming it will get me killed but it did feature in the post Al made. I know nothing other than what it's called, and that I have the option to drink it, but may or may not like it.

 

I did not use it. I was concerned about what it could potentially do if I had.

You were my first suspect Alys, I didn't spend 80 pages beating around the bush. You lied, albeit it wasn't your fault, not to mention you have tried to prevent us time and time again from figure out who is mafia instead concentrating on these relics when no one knows what they do and people are stealing used ones from each other. (As you have stolen it from Wes, and had it stolen from you).

 

I don't see you voting for your supposed suspects to keep the day rolling, instead all I see is idle speculation.

I had it before - I stole it from Al when he died the first time. I can't name it, or tell you what it did. All I will say is that I was underwhelmed.

 

Now, after it has been discussed a bit, I  wonder if it had any indirect action that I was not aware of, and maybe if it resurrected anyone (based on it being not-so-good for Cthulhu)

 

Makes me wonder about the other relics as well. It would be just like Kivam to scare us out of using what would save us. But I don't know, I havn'y had any of the other relics.

I'll say this as well - I would be curious to know who else drank an elixir.

 

I also speculate on the effect of combining the use of the relics, or if anyone has directed anything else against me.

 

Last, I'll say that when I include toys in a game, it's because I really, really want to see people play with them.

that said, the thing bothering me about alanna and tigs vote conversation is that they appeared to be trying to gather support before they jumped in.

I dont think choosing not to vote anyone is much worse than the people who vote based on which number someone is on the playerlist, or random OMGUS votes throughout the game. But I'm not gonna talk more about that, its destined to become one more useless vote-pattern discussion, and its not really helpful.

I thought I was going to come down one way or another on this Anox/Alys thing, but I'm beginning to think neither of them are mafia and this is just distracting us. Which leaves me with little to suspect, so I think a massive re-read is in order. Agh....
