WIN CONDITIONS:

 

The win conditions for the scum in this game are unusual.  Yes, they will win if they can kill you all.  But they will also win if they all die - as long as: 1) the Vessel is alive; and 2) another condition (that only they know) has been met.

 

 

We don't know the second part, and its got to make you wonder.

I do agree, the vessel is still out there. Still, killing off mafia seems like the best plan of action at the moment to me!

 

No, of course not. I'm just saying in a normal game I'd be suuuuper yay that we got a Mafia. And I'm yay that we got one now but I can't be super yay because in the back of my mind is the fact they can still win if we lynch them all and don't find the Vessel. How do we even find the Vessel? Mblegh.

By the way, I'm going to be on an LoA starting Thursday and lasting through Tuesday. I hope to get online at sometime during it but no guarantees. I'm attending the annual Anniversary party that Tarvalon.net throws (this year it's in Wisconsin) and I'm super excited! I love Anni ;D But I'm hoping I can pop on my Mafia games at some point.

In this game, people post a little summary of why they think somebody else is scum, and other people judge them on it.

Day One: Random votes; Quibby and Thorum had both had wagons until I got into a verbal match with DPR which ended in me talking about my morals. It was a peculiar and many thought scummy posts. Everyone then went and voted for me. I had 10 votes on me after about half an hour I was lynched with 10 votes out of a required 13. I was innocent.

 

Night One: Alys tried to get people to talk about the relics and their relation to the mafia's second win condition with the vessel. Everyone else just spammed.

 

Aemon and Nae had a pointless fight back and forth and Verbal put in some comments.

 

Day Two: I was resurrected somehow, we don't know. I think relic. Wombat an innocent was Night Killed. DPR and Alys get into an argument back and forth that people can't follow since they keep only hinting at things. It comes out that DPR stole a relic from my dead corpse, which I can confirm, then used it. Alys subsequently stole it from him and found it was empty. She was trying to ask him about this he made various posts with some lies and other obfuscations but with a little prodding and finally realizing what she was hinting at came out and said it was worthless and didn't do anything. Alys asked me if it was Pro-Town, I said I didn't know and wasn't sure how much I could talk about it... DPR I think is lying and Alys I would just smile.

 

Lavinya revealed as a finder and said Thorum was scum. Everyone joined in on that and he was lynched pretty quickly. He flipped scum.

 

Aemon had some type of PR where he kept asking questions about Nae and Verb being in on a gambit or that we should lynch them. Pookie had a PR where he had to sing part of a song in his posts.

 

Night 3: Not much has happened.

 

I speculate that the win condition is based on the mafia acquiring a set of relics and having to use them, but who knows. I'm not sure about who scum is. I'm waiting to see what tomorrow reveals. I know DPR has made several small lies but I don't know if that is indicative of an anti-town alignment or just his play style. And DPR if you want me to go and quote these I will.

 

Aside from that I'm in to many games and this one is just to big for me to really ping anything down, I'm sorry I can't elaborate more. I'm off to bed hopefully soon after a few more threads. Nighty night everyone.

Don’t forget that Kivy says that no one can answer the pro town part. Which really bites, I might add.

Don’t forget that some of us disagree with how Lavi revealed because she asked other people to do her case for her and just said, “Lynch him.”

Well I'm off to bed, but I'll talk about them. You warned 'the person' who talked about a specific number and about a set to watch out and what not *Shrugs*. My body has already been pilfered from. I stated that it is my guess that they need a set and to use/activate it before they all die. I can't talk about what I had, but I can say what I don't have. I have no idea about a set of three items. It is a pure and wild guess that just seems like a possible and probable idea. Unless the relics are just around to cause confusion, which I doubt I think they serve as an integral part of this game.

 

Don’t forget that Kivy says that no one can answer the pro town part. Which really bites, I might add.

What all do we suspect these relics can do? I attribute my resurrection to one of those relics. I'm not sure if the player who used it knew that would happen or not. I doubt someone has the ability to resurrect every night. Additionally I would have been a very poor choice to resurrect being a 'newbie' and a vanilla townie. So I think that it was a relic that they were afraid would get stolen or didn't know it's power.

 

Other things like the 10 instead of 13 votes... I think yes part of it was a relic ability. Are all relics expendable or are some... usable items? However I do think there was a double voter or otherwise on my lynch. *Laughs at that*

 

Really they can do anything and everything possibly we can't talk about things we do know so we need to find a loop hole in this rule somehow to start figuring things out.

Be assured they do. It is why I cautioned against using them. I don’t know if using them personally kills our chances of using them how they were meant to be used.

Kivy answered all he was going to, apparently, right after my questions. That one was posted as you were posting a reply to my asking. I’ve gotten nothing off thread.

Sorry about the inactivity.  Work kinda kicked my *inappropriate word invoking either images of a beast of burden or a proctologist's waiting room* yesterday.

 

What happens if all these relics are used?  Conceivably, their presence might be what keeps the Vessel from transforming into whatever super-evil creature of evil evilness it is supposed to become.  It may not matter where all the relics end up, but whether they all get used.

If you meant this, well, that’s pretty clear what it means. Quit hiding and talk about what you have found. But no one has done that as of yet. I think people are more afraid to lose their precious relics than discuss them in a manner that would help the town win.

 

It may not matter where all the relics end up, but whether they all get used.

Based on what I read… Both could matter.

The reason I ask about the vessel is this...If the vessel is town then I think that they don't know they are the vessel.  My reasoning behind this is, if I were the vessel and knew that as long as I lived that the mafia would have an out...I would find a way to get myself lynched.  As would any other town member right?
