I've spent the vast majority of my free time tonight doing a reread and taking notes.  There's a lot I'm letting percolate in my brain to see if I can brew something decent out of the mash, but for now...

It's been a long time since I played with her, but back then, Alys NEVER voted day 1. I'm strategically not unvoting/voting, but will follow when 2 or 3 people vote her... Or maybe Alys changed?

 

As for Thorum he still needs 5 more votes, which isn't to hard to accomplish. And it is hard to stop or derail a wagon once it starts. If the voting gets closer to 13 I'll remove my vote however I am waiting to hear Thorum convince me he is innocent. There isn't a death sentence on him, but there is enough pressure to wait and see what happens.

 

For now I'm retaining my vote on Thorum, not to lynch him but to put pressure on him and to see what he has to say.

 

I will give Thorum the chance to explain himself and see what it brings about.

 

I'm bad at names. Which includes genders.

And from there the bandwagon started  ::)

What more is there to say? It's day 1 in a mafia game...

 

Like Barmy said: I always look suspicious. I had a quote like that in my siggy for about two years...

 

I usually get lynched day 3 or 4. I can live with that. Getting lynched day 1 makes the game super-boring super-fast:(

LOL. Every time I'm about ready to post, Wombat pops his head up. How you doing, buddy? Just for the sake of the game, let me say this: Wes is going to talk our ear off for the next three days and throw suspicion on pretty much anybody who pops in for a breath of fresh air. He's also going to bitch and moan about all the players that aren't posting, accusing them of lurking and what not. By the time we FINALLY get a majority it will still all be day one random silliness and Wes will use that as a defense for some and as a point of attack for others. That said, I'm going to go back into my hole where Wombat (and Thorum) can't find me (or my Lucky Charms) and continue laughing at the lot of you trying to make sense of day 1 posts that all boil down to "I'm voting for you because I feel like it". Have fun!  ;D :D

To me that says - I'll vote you while it's safe so people don't think I'm reluctant to vote for scum, but if it becomes too close I'll back off for some trivial reason and not vote a team mate. Which would make you look scummier, true, and I imagine you're smart enough not to do something so obviously scummy and actually tell us about it before hand. I think you need close watching, Al.

What does Thorum need to explain?

 

Alys – Can you use quotes when on your phone? Because that would clear up whom you are directing your comments at a lot.

 

Quibby is annoying, amusing yes, but his constant conviction of his committing suicide in this game is irritating.

 

Al Jenn is pinging my radar, he’s been weird so far, threatening Alys when she went after Wes because it might seem like she is on a team with Al Jenn… what? People agreeing with each other happens all the time in mafia. And his wanting Thorum to explain himself, when there is blatantly nothing to explain, plus his weird responses to Wes.

 

Wes is bothering me too, with his constant posting and seeming attempts to set things up.

 

Alanna and MCS need to actually start posting content, MCS has not actually posted a useful word yet this game. Alanna has made maybe one good post, and that’s it.

 

Anox is the person who I am concerned about the most though. She posted for Pandy because he was scummy, and then when questioned on it backtracked to say that she actually voted him because she had nothing better to do, and then has come back to jump on the Thorum bandwagon with exactly as much reasoning as she had for her Pandy vote.

For the person who asked about this post a few pages back, read the rules on the relics. That is how I figured it out. Either that or he doesn’t care about losing the one he had. I’m positive he’s been a target several times; either that or a fake out target.

Nope. It really sucks. I love the quotes function for its clarity. I can’t see them either. It’s like a paragraph and then a paragraph and I have to be able to remember that someone else said it without knowing who said it. It’s rather irritating. :/
