I hate that the mods show the vote count including the double voter. It is like a forced reveal. It is so early on that everyone now knows their role. Although Pete could have just twisted this fact and made the person Mafia instead of Town aligned... *Shrugs* I doubt he is that sinister though... most likely not... probably not...

Who says that's the only power the double voter has? I think it would be sneakily clever of Pete to give them an extra role, we see they're a double voter and think that's all there is to it, but really they're a serial killing psychopath or something. Besides, given that we have to vote, it's impossible for the double voter to hide by not voting. I haven't seen a game yet where the double voter's two votes weren't in the count (though maybe I'm just not observant :P). There could be more to it than it seems! Or maybe double voter should have waited until the end to vote, at least then some confusion could have been put on whether that last person had the two votes or whether the second vote was only revealed once the lynch was reached or....it's far to late for me to try and think coherently let alone put it into words :P

The onus is on the player, who can (and should) play carefully to protect their identity of a double voter.  Definitely not the mod's fault.

Well.....that would make it a triple voter of sorts. Easier to believe if the vote count didn't say three with only two people voting. And frankly, what would be the point of voting for two different people? You can only lynch one person at a time, so being able to secretly vote for a second person seems totally ridiculous to me. Two votes on one person, however, is much more useful. Someone can be sitting close to a lynch, the double voter jumps on and BAM! Lynch time!

 

And Ed...I take it your discreet cough was admitting the double voter is you. Should have held off! You have until the end of day to vote and it may have been overlooked with 8 people sitting there but 9 votes marked. Could have been passed off as a modly typo even ;)
