Pete, Lily - just a question on lynch timing. If a player reaches enough votes for a lynch, and neither of you are online and someone changes their vote, what happened then? Does the lynch happen the moment the last vote is made or the moment either of you are around at the right time?

 

Note: I voted for Ed thinking he was already dead, not that my vote would be the last. If he'd been one vote away I would have asked questions first and shot later :P

For all those people that voted for Al after he hammered himself, What the hell were you thinking? I explained it to you. I quoted the OP for you. We DIDN'T need to lynch an innocent. We still had time to change it around. I got my eye on you, Lavinya. I made it very clear what the rules were long before Lily came on to nail Ed's coffin shut. You didn't change your vote. Why is that? I'm going to go back and check what everyones reasons were and go from there. Right now, y'all are the most suspicious to me.

Its the way he plays from what Ive seen DPR. He went about it the same way in the Death Note mafia and ended up being innocent, but that of course may not be the case here. He might be trying to make a ploy out of it, which the thought of that is anything but amusing.

Overreaction, Wes? I get the feeling you want to lynch a few more innocents before anyone figures out your playing for the other team. I tend to get annoyed when I make my case and everyone basically ignores everything I have to say and then lynch an innocent. And there you are saying it's an overreaction. We NEED to lynch some innocents to understand the game. I say that's a three-coil steamer. What info did we get from the fact that Ed was innocent? Only the fact that he was innocent. Gee, I'm so glad we went ahead and did that. Why don't we just lynch everybody else who says they're innocent. Would that do it for you, Wes. And yes, this is sarcasm. Just in case you decide to try and use this against me later.  ;) I would like to know what info you believe we have gleaned from the death of Ed.

Anyway, personally I don't think ed did himself any favors, he wasn't playing his usual style (spamming like crazy), he didn't even try to defend himself, he voted for himself and didn't try to reveal until he had enough votes to count as a hammer.

 

I don't think that ed would have missed the fact that he could still be saved and he didn't do anything to try to save himself.  I hate that we lynched an innocent, but I hate that ed didn't try to save himself just as much.

 

I guarantee that there was scum in on voting for him, but there was town also.  He made it too easy for scum to bandwagon due to his lack of self preservation.

I'm thinking Ed's claim of being a townie with two kills was more a desperate bid to get someone to change their vote before Pete comes online. He appears to be the scummiest and was well on the way to a lynch anyway, when Min was killed. There's always the risk of being wrong; I just happen to think he's scum. Why let him live, in that case?

 

And besides, he stupidly voted himself. :P

All right, he votes for himself, believes he has the hammer vote, believes he is now dead, admits to being town, people continue to vote for him. Ed always seems scummy, but in this case his stupidity  ;D works in our favor. Because he believed he was dead he was more than likely telling the truth about being town. The real idiots will be us if we don't retract the votes and keep him alive. How many of us have lynched an innocent? A finder, a healer, because they seemed scummy at the time. We all make mistakes. Oops, he offed a townie. I'll bet everybody in this game(unless it's their first) has offed/bandwagoned an innocent by accident. Let's avoid that mistake right now and try to get one of the bad guys.

Aemon, just a thought - if we know he isn't technically dead until Pete posts it, doesn't it seem to reason that he might know as well?

Just so you all know, I'm still here but weekends I'm very sparse. Hubby is currently working away two out of every three weeks, so weekends when he is home is quality family time with him and the kidlets.
