I'm glad you woke up Amadine.  I felt a little guilty along with scared when I saw you had been nightkilled.  For an explanation I will go back and quote what I said about detours.

m'kay.  So Wombat's got a power that allows him to redirect night actions.  Either he can only protect himself or he chose to protect himself.  It's possible that, because the night actions weren't actually performed on Wombat and only initially directed at him, he wouldn't show as being affected by a night action for the neighborhood watch.  That's purely conjecture on my part.  It's also conjecture that he knows it was a night kill attempted on him because he is now talking about being killed a lot.  Meaning I think when he redirects he gets a PR that makes him talk about what nearly happened to him.  I like the sound of a role like that even if it's only all in my head.  :)

Something is fishy here...Wombat is trying too hard to be lynched/not lynched.  I don't trust him.  But I also don't think we should lynch him, yet.

 

Not sure what type of character/power the Cheshire cat would be/have...but He is capricious but nature.  Does things for ulterior motives and such.  Lily undoubtedly tweaked roles/characters etc....I don't think she would have changed the basic nature though.

On a more serious note, I believe Ed (for the moment) enough to think lynching him would be a bad idea. Wombat IS trying to tell us something but seems to be PRed to beg for the lynch. Yes, I know there were a couple of posts that differed. I still believe it would be a huge mistake to vote for him. Al Jenn shocked me when he changed his vote to Wombat after making that huge post where he just quoted the role of the jester/village idiot and the mafia getting a double nightkill. That is a huge reversal, Al. I don't trust it. Pete is still the one that has my attention at the moment for being so close to the beginning of this train on Wombat. He was not the first, but he was instrumental in bringing more people over to his point of view, which is why I still think Pete is scum. We know that Wombat is annoying. We know he is trying to tell us something. Day 1 he did not speak like this. I believe it is a PR due to a night action and we will learn more on Day 3. If he were the Jester/Village Idiot, he should have been posting this way on Day 1, but he wasn't. What role would have the ability to make someone beg for lynch or nightkill? Why would a mafia/cult beg for nightkill? I believe he was cursed to make us lynch another innocent.

 

Amadine, welcome back. Now we have to look at your case. I don't believe you have been recruited. I believe you are still pro-town. What happened? We can only speculate. Resurrection ability? Perhaps Prince Charming is here with a limited ability to revive people. Perhaps the person that left the spindle does not have the ability to put people to sleep permanently. Perhaps I was wrong in the beginning and the spindle wielder pricks people to convert them. They go to sleep for a time and then they wake up. Your ability would be greatly coveted by a cult/mafia. I will reserve judgment on that aspect until there is more evidence. Until then I believe you are pro-town and I hope you don't get targeted again for a negative night action.

 

Can anyone give me a good reason why Wombat should be lynched. I'm just not seeing it. A player controlled lynch on a person most of us agree is not anti-town seems ridiculous. I would honestly prefer a random modkill of the non-voters than a player controlled lynch on someone almost all of us have agreed is probably an innocent. What are you all thinking? We're not going to get any information from a dead Wombat except his character and his alignment. He shows innocent and what do we have? Nothing to go on except what he has said in his previous posts about his ability. He shows anti-town and what do we have? Nothing but what he has said in his previous posts. Please unvote Wombat and vote for someone who you believe to be scum, not somebody who happens to be annoying you at the moment.

Hmmm, yes Ed has done a pretty good job of explaining himself.  And other arguments hold substabtial weight as well.  I can't say that Wombat is a good idea.  I see the logic of finding the person that everyone could agree on....and Wombat would fit that bill....but, I don't think we are going to reach any moajority votes.  There still is just not enough info to go on.

Adella that to me is something a mafia member would think up and accuse them of having. Knowing good and well that they didn't as they were a mafia member. Personally I would like to know why Cairos targeted me and what the heck happened to that. Did he try to kill me? Do we have a couple SK and mafia or two mafia teams and a SK?

Lily PM's Eddie saying your role has been switched tonight. You may now curse someone (yes Al, I did know it would be 50% the whole game).

Eddie PM's Lily pretty much saying: dangit, I wanted to use my role (no that is not a quote. It is from memory.)

Lily says, ok Al is cursed, and your action would have been a waste as he already targeted her.

 

Eddie later asks Min if anything happened to her.

She says nothing did.

Eddie is suspicious. He mentions he knows some info somewhere on the thread.

 

Eddie INFERS (it's where you take what info you know, and make a guess as to what happened) that Cai either recruited Min, tried to NK her, Heal her, or something else. Since she didn't know of anything that happened to her, either she is lying or Cai was blocked.

 

HOW IS THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND?

Hmmm, yes there are several reveals/half-reveals out there.  The healer will have thier hands full trying to figure out which one is a likely target for the nk's.  Did we ever determine if there was a third nk attempt, or was there only two?  Aust and Amadine....then mention's of Boopsy being targeted for nk....or was that a general targeting of unknown type?
