Guys, I don't know about anybody else but there is a 75% chance that Pete is scum. This late in the game that is enough for me.  I can't say anything more to make you believe me but I want you to know if you lynch me then you need to go for Pete tomorrow!  That's if the town's still got more people by then...I don't know!

The day was waning at the Gladiators Arena, but there was yet to be bloodhshed. Though constantly arguing and searching, a majority had not been reached - they couldn't decide who was a traitor to Caesar. The gods from on high therefore intervened, and the Priest of Jupiter was the one who was smitten. Fire fell from the heavens and devoured him where he stood, leaving nothing but a smouldering ash heap in the sand before the terrified Romans.

MCS, the Priest of Jupiter, Healer, member of the innocents is dead.

 

It is now Night Five, please get your night actions in. The end of night will be Monday at 9.30pm GMT. Its the Capitol Building for you all then...

I would have never guessed MCS to be the healer. It is a shame that we couldn't agree on a person to lynch. Depending on what the night brings, Tigs is definitely getting my vote tomorrow.

I'm sorry town. I was at work from 4 to 10, and I was going to vote before I left, but I couldn't decide :-\

Night was coming to an end. The Romans knew that the Ides of March was tomorrow... if they couldn't find the conspirators, Caesar would die.

 

They awoke to find the body of Mark Anthony with his throat messily cut. He had been one of Caesar's closest circle.

 

Tigraine, Mark Anthony, Watcher, Member of the Innocents is dead.

 

The Romans knew with a sinking feeling what was coming next. For it was a trip to the Capitol Building.

As the sun rose, Caesar himself and his float paraded from his palace to the Capitol in view of all of Rome. As he went to the Capitol, history records that there was a Soothsayer who tried to warn him. But there wasn't this time, for he was dead. History also records Artemidorus attempted to write a letter to Caesar to warn him of the grave dangers. But he didn't this time, for he had betrayed the one he loved. Mark Anthony should have been with Caesar, and wrought vengeance upon his enemies in the aftermath of the Ides, but he didn't this time, for he was dead. The conspirators, although lacking in number were not dead however. And though Caesar did not cry: "Et tu, Brute?", he did cry "Then fall Caesar", as the first dagger pierced his body. Caesar died at the Capitol Building on the Ides of March. The Romans had failed, the Orators had failed, Pompey's Ghost had not exacted revenge, but the Conspirators had been victorious. The Roman Republic was no more.

 

The Conspirators have won!
