The Prologue of Crown of Swords tells of Elaida's plans to build a palace for herself.

What would likely happen to it when Egwene gains control of the White Tower?

The Whitecloaks headquarters have been conquered by the Seanchan (along with the rest of Amadicia).

I guess Galad is leading his Whitecloaks to re-gain the headquarters.

This thread may speak about the fates about various buildings.

Just thinking about Egwene's character, I could see her stopping construction the minute she becomes Amrylian because she won't use it then I could see her either using it for more novices that hopefully will come in (provided they can fill up the original tower), or she will use it for storage. Either would surely piss of Eladia more than if Egwene just destroyed it.

Good Question, it makes you wonder about other buildings as well. For instance if the Towers combine what would become of the Black Tower?

Egwene does not seem like the squanderer. I think she would use it as a palace, or a museum, or maybe like a ter'angreal/cuendillar workshop.

As for the towers combining, I think if they would it would be by a treaty, there is no need for the asha'man or the aes sedai to move since the rediscovering of traveling. So any joining would be by an alliance, not a physical merger.

I think that if/when the towers join, you'll just have each kind of channeler at each building.  The Aes Sedai in the AoL were both kickin it in the Hall of Servants.  Not saying it'll happen right away, but they definitely won't remain segregated.

Another possibility is that the Black Tower gets destroyed in Asha'man faction war between Logain/Taim.

I want the Stone of Tear obliterated ---> it'd just be plain cool if that happens.

Funny Epic, when I first read this post, the Stone of Tear was the first thing that I thought of too. The way I look at it, is even with using the power which we've seen can rip a corner of a palace apart (Cairhien's Sun Palace) without using any an'greal it would still take a major effort to obliterate the Stone. Sure would be fun to watch though. :)

Keep in mind that the Seanchan will attack soon. TG is waiting around the corner, and Tar Valon is likely to be a primary target. Chances are that when the smoke clears, Elaidas palace will be reduced to a pile of rocks.

That would be fantastic. The last little "you fail" kick in the butt to Elaida.

Rand needs to stop founding Universities and build a sports arena in one of the cities, Coloseum style=

badass

I advice you to watch the movie Idiocracy. After you've watched it I'll ask if you would be so happy to turn a whole civilisation to dumb drunk idiots that don't watch anything else than violent sports...

I hope he makes even more universities but the best would be to fund a public school but I fear that would cost too much.

Mat should find a way to destroy the Tower of Ghenji to stop the Finns from getting in peoples heads. Maybe he could use Dragon Eggs...

If memory serves, the Tower of Ghenji is a hunk of metal sticking out of the ground, and I seem to remember Domon mentioning it doesn't have a scratch on it, so Dragon Eggs wouldn't even do anything...  Rand or an Asha'man with Callandor however ;)...

I just thought Mat, because hes already going.

What about the Dome of Truth? If the Fortress of the Light was gone maybe Galad would find it easier to remake the Children into what it shoyuld have always been

Galad and his Whitecloaks are homeless - wouldn't it be ironic if Egwene told him: We have this almost finished building right next to the Tower - y'all want to come crash there for a while? It's white an' all ;D

Same scenario, but to Logain and the Asha'man. You can Paint it Black, iffin you want  ;D

Something like that was in my mind when I made the opening post.

How does the WT look like? How tall is it anyways?

This page tells about it and has a picture of it:

The chance that Galad could 'purify' the CoL is not too far off. The children are very organized in the military sense. Aside from the group that was led by Padan Fain we find them extremely ordered. So, Galad starts by removing the children away from the questioners, putting in new laws that the children need to behave better and not assume someone is guilty before they are questioned, then start promoting officers that agree with him, while getting rid of the others. You would be surprised at how quick the children could turn around. Years it would take, by the first generation it would be done. Just my opinion.
