i would like to apologise for my spring break absence... i planned to be here,  but i'm not sure where my week went. *scratches head puzzled*

 

Dude, no way. Mafia are the only ones that win using meta-gaming principles. I'll fall out of my chair if another experienced player backs you up on this.

 

ladies and gentlemen of the court, dpr, are you prepared to fall out of your chair? i've won a game by metagaming. i won one of your games, dpr, by metagaming. (remember the first suras) *mutters* damn, barms beat me to it with the kivam gambit...

 

as a person, i know that kryos, vemy, and dpr all love the drama that goes on in the fore and back grounds. it's not good to discount that they could be working together. i personally won't exclude it, but i have to say, it seems statisticly improbably that two evils from the last game would also be the evils in this game.

 

more metagaming ;) i find it not so odd that tigs didn't defend himself. he usually doesn't.

 

i find it more interesting to see who tries to knock off the best players, the most threatening if they are evil ones. but the best if they are innocent ones.

Well, next high tide' starts me very slow tides o' bein' unavailable regularly so I`ll be sporadic. Got a go play in th' field an' play soldier fer about a week. I ortin' ta be havin' internet connection here an' thar so I`ll check as often as I can on things. An' I dasn't love drama, I love harassin' Vemy, thar`s a difference.

Well, I, for one, am against Meta-gaming - it's what killed me off five games in a row before Night 2 (and I was innocent :P).  But I guess I'm biased because of my experience with it.

As the early rays of dawn break through the thick velvet curtains, you glance around sleepily. Since the news regarding the Queen, the Great Hall had a more somber feel to it, and many of the besotted nobles had passed out in various areas of the Hall. As you walk around, trying to get a second wind, you pass by the Knife Throwers area. Lying in the corner sleeping was Alys. As you move closer, thinking to wake her before the Knife Thrower came back for another performance, you gasp as you see that she is in fact not sleeping, but lying there dead, her throat quietly dripping blood from the thin gash you see there.

 

Stifling a gasp, you find a guard to have the body removed. The atmosphere of the room becomes even more strained.

 

Alys, the Martyr and innocent is dead.

 

Kivam is lynchproof.

 

It is now day. With 22 people, it takes 12 to lynch. Day will last 36 hours.

On the wiki, it says that the Martyr can sacrifice themselves to revive a dead player. 

 

Who knows what modifications FDM made to the role, but the basic outline of the role should be the same.
