Now we can't be having riots over the rum. Barm has already stabbed me (which I just saw - don't know how I missed it. OWWWW!) and now Vemy is being driven to drink Dr. Peppers, which does not sound very pirate-likeat all.

 

I think the only solution is to administer the daily grog. So, the entire crew will get half a pint per day for each person, and a full pint on holidays. Cheers!

now, *THAT* recipe suggests 3/4 full with Amaretto, and 1/4 Bacardi 151 (or Everclear) to make it flammable, light it and drop it into a beer then drink. My version is 1/2 shot of rum topped with 1/4th shot amaretto and 1/4 shot bacardi dropped into a beer. Slightly less flameable, sometimes won't even catch on fire if not done right, but the point is to add oxygen to the alcohol (burning things = adding oxygen) which is what causes the taste when mixed with beer.
