ok i really want all the channelers to try and link and to break the source, therefore no more channeling no more TP and the darkone can only do less. therefore some random kiddie can come and pick the DO's nose and kill him ?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!

I want Tuon to outlaw the capturing of any more mareth'damane, and start learning how to channel.

 

I want all the Sea Folk to be captured and made da'coval, or something similar, until they all learn some humility (it wouldn't hurt if a few specific rulers *cough*elayne*cough* were set at that level as well).

 

I want the Towers, White and Black, to crumble and fall, figuratively speaking, at the onslaught of TG. Then Logain comes along and builds another society with both types of channelers.

 

I want someone to "break" the world again, this time, turning it into a single island that is divided into nations ruled by Elayne, Perrin, Tuon, Lan, and MABYE (but not likely) Egwene.

 

I want Rand to survive TG and go into reclusion, visited only by his harem and close friends.

 

 

None of this is very likely to happen, but I won't change what I want just because it's ludicrous.

I would like to see the collapse and rebreaking. Many deaths and sad happenings of ultimately irrelevant natured characters.  There are hundreds of them.  Afterall, it is TG. I have always been a fan of the power being lost again.

 

What I want to happen most:

future books.  I know.  But it would be neat to see how the taveren effect wearing off effect them.  Plus, if the ability of power is fading at say a 20 year mark, it would be interesting to see the subsequent wars happening as the channelers battle for wealth and power as they go mad from being cut off.  They are likely to tear some more stuff up as they fizzle out.  It would open it right up for technological advancement in the storyline.

What I would like to see is The Dissapearance of the Blight.

 

so that after so many generations the Borderlands can finally claim a victory over the Shadow.

 

The return of Malkier, With Lan as Ruler.

 

Manetheren both the Country and the City rebuilt.

 

The end of the Three oaths.

 

The White & black towers Co-existing in an uncomfertable truce.

Balancing each other out.

 

Its not that I think any of this is likely to happen. Its just what I would like to see.

 

One more thing, all the Sea Folk must be taught humility.

 

Maybe have all of them tied to a Mast and beaten constantly for a few days, no more than 40 or so. Or better yet give the Sea Folk to the Wise ones for a Year. that should do the trick.

I'm not sure what I want to happen, but I'm looking forward to Mat and the guys going on the rescue misson, and when Galad (with Bornhald/Byar) meet up with Perrin.

I'm most looking forward to the Rand/Egwene meeting.  I hope her tirade just slides right off him and then he tells her to shove it and stand in the corner untill I or mat call for you.

I would also like to see the meeting between Mat and the two remaining wondergirls.  Elayne sort of understands mat, she certainly got enough swear words off of him, and Nyneave will be most interesting.  As for Egwene and Mat, I hope he does to her what he did to Joline but she has learned to embrace pain so I don't know anything bad enough for her, maybe getting stilled but that's all Ican think of.

I would love to see Elidia and Suianne meet again and Have suianne smakc the crap out her and be on the point of killing her but brynne stops her. I would love to see Elayas reunite with his Aes sedai or Possibly Save her from being killed like take an arrow or something for her. I think that that would be neat. I want to see the look on Rands face when he finds Morgase alive and well and relize that he prematurely attacked Camylnn for nothing. BUt most of All I want to see some humanity return him.

I shouldn't post in this thread. My answers tend to get elaborate... lol. If anyone is interested though, my thoughts are in the memory of light plot part deux thread.

 

Small quick answers though, i want to see the Seanchan assault on the Tower. I want the three oaths to be gotten rid of. I want to see GAWYN's face when he sees Morgase alive :).

I want to see Rand crack, he has been making me angry lately. Also, I'd love a book or a memory of the AoL, and get to know the AoL AS better, so we could really compare them, with the ones around in present time.

 

And I want to know what kind of father Mat would be, or hell, see him when he gets his head shaved. :)

I don't think that he will get his head shaved. I can't picture him doing it esspeacally since his comtempt of nobility. If it did happen it would be an amusing scene. I'd like to the look on Rands face when Morianne comes walking into the room. I'd also like to see Nyneave somehow grow back Rands hand.

The only ones that will know who Moiraine is will be Thom, Matt and possibly Farstrider, though it's likely he will die.  Remember Moiraine was severed, I suppose he could recognize her voice but he won't recognize by her appearance.  I thought it was comicai when matt asked a pretty young girl to dance and it's Siuan Sanche

Whilst it's true that it has never been directly stated that Moiraine was severed, based on several pieces of information it seems very likely.

 

1. Moiraine fell through a ter'angreal that subsequently exploded whilst locked in battle and transporting to a world were different physical laws apply. Aside from the fact that we have been warned time and again about simply channeling around ter'angreal, the fact that this one was destroyed is, in and of itself, almost enought to make me believe that she must have been severed, but meh.

 

2. Moiraine's bond to Lan was severed. Other than death we have only ever seen this occur after a woman was severed. Some suggest that it is because the interdimensional distance that the bond snapped, yet Moiraine has been to Finnland before with no ill effects, and moreover the way is still open through the Tower of Genjei. Another oft offered explanation is that Moiraine released the bond as she fell, but this one we can rule out absolutely--releasing the bond doesn't cause the Death Absortion affect, and Lan clearly experiences that.

 

3. Cyndane's decreased in strength. Again the only known source of losing strength is to be severed and healed by someone of the same sex (if you want to discuss that, go find the other thread about it).

 

4. Lanfear and Moiraine were both held against their will, yet both are strong channelers, both had angreal and we know that channeling can be used successfully against the Finns... which makes it impossible for them to have been held in that manner for any degree of time.

 

So, in conclusion, given events as we have seen them, it is most probable that she was severed. In support of that we have witnessed two events that we only know can happen when a person is severed, and had she not been severed she could not have been held.

I would much rather see the ability to channel remain.  Losing the power would suck and make for an overall dull, and overdone finish.  There are plenty of series out there in which the book ends with all the main characters abilities gone, and I hate it, why be original and let it well enough alone.  In any event Technology is breaking through anyway, since Rand founded that school of his, so leave the One Power alone.

 

I would also like to see Rand actually do something badass entirely on his own without the help of LTT in the back of his head with Saidin.

I would like to see Tam in a duel. We know he is a Blademaster but we we rarely see him in a fight with a sword. Most often see him using the longbow. It would also be interesting to see his reaction when he sees how much his 'son' has changed.

 

Can't wait to see the showdown between Mat and the gholam. Probably happen as they leave the Tower of Ghenjei. Just as they think their out of trouble, up he pops and rips Farstriders throat out and its on.

 

And lastly I want to see the DO sat on his behind quite firmly and the Forsaken to finally realise that they backed the wrong horse in this race.

Taim revealed as a Darkfriend and getting the snot beaten out of him.

 

A final showdown between Nynaeve and Moghedian

 

Bain and Chiad breaking tradition after Gaul hauls them out of the Shaido camp, white robes or no.

 

Berelain finally backing off from the whole Perrin thing. She'll need to meet her 'handsome man in white' first of course.

 

Elyas meets Rina. Chaos ensues! :D

 

Siuan and Bryne confronting their relationship at a most inopportune time.

 

Lelaine revealed to be a darkfriend and Romanda having a field day.
