Now it's just a joke. I would more readily accept this take if not for the previous post defending the now labelled "joke". It feels more like an attempt to get a wolfy rep to stick in this game.

I must say I agree with GK about one thing, I'm not really a fan of the no reasons listing. Our thoughts are our best way to judge each other's intent in game. Without the reasons it is easy to let mafia slide along with a consensus list.

I understand your frustration GK, the game has changed.  I appreciate your reasoning and apology.  However, it still doesn't give me much faith in your claim or objectivity to use the ability.  That's not on a personal level, it's based on your game play up until the emotional exhaustion revealed itself.  But as you have claimed and there is no counter claim (which ftr I do not advise if someone else is actually the cop) I have no choice but to believe the claim.  

 

Your whole attack on Heavy (the gut feeling) is in no way related to your role if I understand wtf has happened up until this point.  I disagree with the logic of SD looks scummier now because Dice had agreed to vote Peace so he should've just stayed put. Anything can happen, specifically stuff in RL, that could've prevented Dice from voting on time.  If I'm not mistaken, SD waited until pretty close to deadline before switching.  So on that instance I don't see it as a scummy move.  

 

I hate that Peace flipped town but I stand by my vote on him.  He done himself no favors and my two biggest scum reads at that point were GK and Peace and I will not vote an un-CCed cop.  Peace's sus on me was based solely on my sus of him from what I can tell.  The timing of Dice's unvote being exactly when I voted was a weird coincidence...oddly reminiscent of my hammer vote last game that came through at the same exact moment of Verbal's. Peace's sus of Teph but not actually sussing Teph pinged me hard while Peace was going after SD.  He claimed Teph was higher on his sus list but then went all in on SD and it gave me zero faith in what Peace had to say on either of then.

And Turin are 3 of my strongest town leans at the moment but admittedly it has a lot to do with their reactions and interactions after GK's claim.  They read as frustrated town to me.

 

DPR has probably been my most consistent town lean through the game.  He has remained reasonable and logical (at least in regards to my own thoughts and overall play style).  Meaning the moments that I thought someone was being unreasonable for a specific sus, he pointed out what I thought was the obvious.

 

As I said, GK will remain off my WTL list until he has a reason to be removed.

 

I'm really curious as to Ed's votes and timing of them.  He stayed on a joke vote for a very long time, even when a train started and then switched for little to no reasoning for why he stayed on SD and why he switched to Peace.

Heavy I have been seeing as town behavior most of the game.  I'm actually quite proud of you on your progress just from last game to this one.  But that question about why everyone was in a hurry to hammer, 100% feel that you felt the need to say something so you just went with what you thought sounded Townie.  Maybe I'm wrong and it was a genuine question idk, it's just really the first thing that stood out to me about you that pinged for me.

 

SD, you've been a scum lean for me from the start...however, your unwillingness to sus Peace merely for sussing you, helped your case in my eyes.  I'm still trying to wrap my brain around your whole "letting the dice decide" attitude.  I'm hoping to see more from you next day phase which is more on what's happening instead of going all random.org on the game.

I’ve got a teenager at home and I often remind him that so much of what he’s going through is being put on him by society. All of the anxiety, rage, expected behaviors, damn near everything is being pumped into their heads by gaming culture, corporate culture and society in general. Once he realizes he’s being manipulated, it helps him to see through to who he is and what he wants

He came our 2 years ago and this is not an area that accepts that.  Eastern Kentucky is 50 years in the past and it's terrifying for me.  Literally wouldn't be shocked to hear a group lured him somewhere and beat him to death.  So he's very limited as far as people he can relate to locally.  He's always been a good, responsible kid. Just turned 18 and is assistant gm at a local McDonald's.   He'll be off to college in August but now he's spiraling out of control.  I don't know how to help him, how to be there without being intrusive and I'm seriously terrified.  Idk what to do.

I think I was feeling slightly like a deer caught in the headlights, I couldn't really see anything worth doing, or indeed would make a difference. I didn't like either of the candidates and trying to get traction on anyone else seemed like wasted effort. People were still talking and maybe something would happen - and if not the DL was fast approaching. I guess if you were happier with the trains just finishing it off would seem more appealing, and had it been a hammer game I would have hammered if needed, but as the majority would also have triggered the elimination I didn't see the point while people were still itt and talking. Just incase there was going to be something super special in those last few minutes, lol.

 

Thanks for being proud of me, maybe I'll earn a gold star by the end of the game 😄

 

Sucks about your son. In so many different ways. All I can offer is that you let him know that you are there for him and let him have time. Which is I'm sure is totally useless advice. I've not had anything similar with my kids to draw upon. Wishing you and yours the best.

I don’t worry too much about being intrusive - being close and letting them know how you feel is vital. It sounds like college will be much better environment for him and that’s only a few moths away.  Sometimes all you can do is stand with them and help them find better things to do other than what this keeps dishing out

If I live. I have to start work shortly.  Brief takes are I think Darthe is town. I see his logic. I like how he has stated his opinions clearly. He made a few observations that make me think he is thinking like a townie.

Ended up sleeping in till like, ~9am this morning. By the time I got the gremlins fed, had my mug of coffee, and wrangled the kids to clean up enough of their mess so we had a narrow path to get into and out of the house, it was already like, 10:45 and were on the road to go shopping, and all that jazz.

 

Just got back. Caught up on the like... 2 posts since I was gone.

 

After lunch, I'm going to brave the 41 degrees weather outside and work in the garden for a few.

It was ~93 degrees on Wednesday, and the low tonight is 35.

 

This folks, is why I don't put in tomatoes I until after memorial weekend. Lol 

Flowers? Eh, they can tough it out. But tomatoes are emotional/tempormental plants. To cold one day, they stop doing anything for a week. To hot, they stop doing anything.

 

Anyways, I hope to maybe sneak back in here before EON and do some deep dives on who started that train on Peace and why. Start looking into voting patterns, that kind of thing.

 

I think this is the 2nd game I've ever made it passed day 1 as town?  Lol

Well, I played the last two - Hamilton had an Informant which was essentially a limited Cop, 99’s Action Hero had dice as Cop. I haven’t looked at the other two
