If that's true, and if the episodes are titled as such, who do you think these episodes will mainly feature?

Wild guesses mostly.

My guess would be:

 

1. A Taste of Solitude = Re-touch base with all of the characters, mostly feature Matt and also introduce us to Elayne. I think we need to connect with the new actor and get back into this character immediately in this season!

2. Eyes without Pity = Perrin, Whitecloaks, but also an introduction to Aviendha

3. Daughter of the Night = I think this will mostly feature Nynaeve and we'll get the Accepted Testing & antagonist (Lanfear!).

4. Strangers and Friends = this is going to feature Moiraine in Cairhien. 

5. Sheathing the Sword = Lan, and also Rand - learning how to sword fight

6. Damane = mostly feature Egwene, getting collared, but also Perrin 

7. What Might Be = mostly feature Rand - flicker, flicker, flicker (I hope)

8. The Grave is No Bar to My Call = I think this once again brings all the characters together, we get Falme, and Matt gets the most screen time with Rand a close second.

I think @WhiteVeils is right on some of the stuff.

But I want:

-Lord Rand and the Sheinarans, because of Rand's character development.  It was here Rand developed leadership and his sense of duty.

-Portal stones with flicker to gives Rand more developmemt and genuine believability to his sword skills.

 

IMO S1 increased Dragon Reborn awareness on many fronts and sidelined Rand too much.  I remember reading the EOTW thinking the DR would be someone they introduce later and then a smidgeon of shock to realize it was Rand.  I guess I should have realized much earlier, but I would read as a blank slate without trying to guess things about the story.

You seem to be really well informed. Do you think this season we're going to get more Forsaken than Lanfear and Isha'mael? Perhaps a Forsaken antagonist for each of the main characters? 

I'm thinking probably not ... 

Though, I was super hopeful for that in my re-watch of S1 because when Steppin is warding off the Forsaken in Ep5 - it starts off with a zoomed in shot of 3 Forsaken statues (seems to be Lanfear in the middle - only Isha'mael is mentioned as "Father of Lies"), but then it pans and we get to see 8 total statues (4 men, 4 women).

Oh, I should mention, I would think that the show is counting these people as 'main' characters & who I would (perhaps) pair with them as their main antagonist:

• Rand - Isha'mael // Moridin (if we get him)
• Moiraine - Lanfear
• Lan - Demandred
• Matt - ? Sammael maybe?
• Perrin - ? Graendal maybe? 
• Egwene - Mesaana
• Nynaeve - Moghedien
• Elayne/Aviendha/Min (I know I'm counting this as a three-fer) - Rahvin

I think there is a chance we at least see Moghedien based on a casting for a character codenamed Madeline that supposedly is in S2 and S3.

I don't think they will split up the Foresaken that way...it's too neat, and we know Luc is cast for S3.

 

I do think there will be only 8 Foresaken: Ishamael, Lanfear, Moghedien, Semirage, Graendal, Sammael, Asmodean, and Demandred (at least based on the statues).  

 

But it's still mostly speculation.

Based on the trailer and first look photos, I think we know that we're going to get:

The dark-friend social 

Falme fight scene - including the Rand/Turak sword-fight

Egwene collared by the Seanchan (struggling and tortured?)

Nynaeve's Accepted Test

 

I think we're going to get:

Flicker. Flicker.

Egwene meeting Aiel Dreamwalkers.

The Horn being blown by Matt. 

Rand proclaimed Dragon to the World.

 

I hope that we get:

Matt vs. Galad and Gaywn

Elyas and wolves teaching Perrin

Rand's fight with Ishamael (but there is a good chance it is not with Turok)
