Yes, I have seen you as scum.  Actually, the last game I played with you last year you were scum.  Which is the reason I suspect you of being scum.  You are playing the same way.  I know RL has you REALLY, REALLY busy so that's why you not posting a lot.  However, in the beginning of day 1 you posted mostly fluff.  With a few game related posts thrown in.  You did get a little better as day 1 got on but not by much IMO.  And so I figured you were scum.  Also, I thought I had to make reads on everybody by the end of day 1.  I couldn't have any nulls.  I know that's stupid thinking now but I felt kind of pressured to make reads. IDK why, but I been taking things very personally this game.  ? which I know is dumb and the worst thing a person can do. 

 

Also can someone tell me how to spoiler again.  I did the spoiler in my siggy before verb changed the whole set up and it transferred over.  However, I tried to do it again and it didn't work the last time. Not in this game.

EBWOP:   I think that nyn is slightly town now.  I was telling her why I thought she was scum in the second paragraph but I used present tense when I should have used past tense.    The reasons I think she is town is because everybody else thinks she is town including the IC and the fact that bfg was probably trying to throw shade like AJ pointed out that she could be doing, "distancing or throwing shade."  But those are the only reasons, hence why she is still in PoE and my read could change in an instant depending on raisins.

BTW don't just go with my opinion just because I'm the IC. Everyone knows I"m town but that doesn't change anything on me. The only thing about me is that you know that my POV comes from town and that I'm not trying to fool you. Doesn't mean i'm not 120% wrong. Which knowing me is very very possible.

I keep thinking to myself there’s an important reason why BFG didn’t just selfpres and vote IT but I can go in several directions and it’s really only making me confused.

Was there already a partner on the wagon?

Would she vote off wagon with a partner?

Was she trying to distance from her partner knowing she was likely going down soon?

Did BFG just think that’s what town!BFG would do?

Anybody that's played with scum Wifi - is she prone to tunneling or more reasonable?  

 

I'm trying to figure out whether she would genuinely be influenced by the fact most people are townreading Nyn.  Town is wrong all the time, and it's entirely possible BFG was just being really weird with a teammate and not really weird with a townie.    I remember Town!Wifi wasn't super impressionable but at least could usually be talked into changing her mind.  So I kind of like that from her here.

I want to say I remember her mentioning feeling good about Illian, but I could easily be mixing her up with somebody else.  I don't think she really discussed BFG at all.

 

A 9 day long D1 with a handful of quieter plays is fantastic for remembering whose reads were what.  ?

I mentioned the reasoning during my catch-ups, but in a nutshell for their gameplay.  I didn't quote a ton, but I talked about Clov's interaction wrt BFG in thread with Tripped, and I find them both villagery for it.

 

Zander's catch-ups have been good from what I've seen

 

Nyn is tone and content, both seem v good to me, and I feel like I read her pretty well.

I'm pretty sure everybody here has played with her quite a bit.  Iron and WiFi would be the only two question marks, and I know they've both played at least a couple of games.  

 

I remember WiFi said she was pretty much completely null on her when Zander, Tripped, and I first started discussing her meta.  Halia obviously didn't really say much about her, other than naming her as a plausible teammate.  I want to say Dice named her as a potential lynch candidate at some point, but I think it was well after the thread consensus was "this is something we should be concerned about".  I don't remember anything from Nyn/Iron, before Nyn's really weird read from near EoD.

It was a little of both. She and BFG were both posting things that were at least nominally game related, but BFG's posts were...thin. It felt like she was just imitating what she thought her town self would say. Hallia's were much more substantial. I didn't exactly agree with what she said (eg the sus on Zander), but at least I understood the thought process and I sensed that she was putting genuine effort into solving the game. 

Wow, I'm just realizing now how heavily my read was based on the comparison between those two.

Rereading the ~middle of D1...  this was a series of back-to-back-to-back posts.  Calls Kat town, votes me for proposing her as the deity, and then gives the bottom reads.  The bold stands out to me as really notable.  I absolutely think BFG would try to soft defend a teammate without really getting tied to them.  About 10 pages earlier, Dice pretty much took a blank stance on her when Zander and I were discussing her.
