In an age  long since passed....a tale of prophecy was told:  Azor Ahai, wielder of Lightbringer and a band of heroes, the greatest and most renowned men, women, theybies and whatever other ridiculousness people want to pretend to identify with as, fought the Armies of Winter, The Armies of the dead....the Armies......of The dreaded Night King.  The Night King wanted to bring Winter and death to the entire World and the only thing standing in his way were heroes willing to sacrifice everything to save the people they loved......After countless battles, deaths, and months and months and years and years of waiting for the next book and next season to begin.....a frustration beyond comprehension......Azor Ahai and his band Metallica of heroes defeated the diabolical Night King and his evil army of Boy Bands undead.....

 

But of course time erases all things.......“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.”  CRAP WRONG SERIES!!!! and the once horrible and costly memories began to fade away and they became bedtime stories that parents used to frighten misbehaving Mafia Players children....

 

Many years later, history all but forgotten Westeros is on the brink of Chaos...people pulling strings behind the scenes causing strife and anarchy.  Ambition driving those who seek power to do unimaginable things.  People fighting for those they love, what they have....to just change their fortunes....All over petty things like power, money, castles, Xbox1's to become......King or Queen or Theying or Theyeen????.....and all the while, those Starks in the North know that Winter is Coming, the Lannisters in King's Landing and Casterly Rock intend to Pay their debts to all who stand in their way or crossed them and A family from across the Narrow Sea seeks to take back what was once theirs with Fire and Blood........and those North of the Wall care nothing about the politics and foolishness of southerns because they know that the dead walk again and seek to try once again take over the World.....

 

 

 

 

1. This is an advanced game but truly not crazy complicated.
2. There is no night talk and Im not in it so even tho we need at least 17 players it wont be crazy to play and keep up.
3. As mentioned above need 17 tho if we get more (tho I doubt it and worry we wont even get 17) adjustments will be made
4. Its got a pretty cool setup and features that are really fun, neat, uncommon to DM and uncomplicated.
5. What Chris and I say go period.  Chris will mod kill you for anything he wants to.
6. This is gonna be crazy fun and I encourage you all to have fun and play nice!!!!!!!
7. AND REMEMBER.... More rules and instructions will be posted!!!!!  Always check your PMs as well as the thread throughout the game for information.

Official Game Rules! 

 

1. Don't talk about the game outside of the game thread, unless you are told you can.
2. If you ARE allowed to talk outside of the game thread, you are only allowed to do so at the times specified with the individuals specified. I must be included in all communication.
3. You may not post screenshots of, or directly quote: your role PM, mod communication, or any other game-related communication that originated outside of the game thread. All questions must be submitted via PM.
4. You are expected to be familiar with the rules, and you are expected to abide by them even if you think they are incorrect.
5. You are expected to behave civilly.
6. You are expected to be active to the best of your ability and play to your win condition.
7. You may roleclaim as you see fit as long as you do not break Rule #3.  You may NOT character claim, and you will be promptly modkilled if you do. 
8. Day Phases will be 48 hours. Night Phases will be 24 hours. Any outside communication will be both day and night phase.  The thread will be CLOSED during night phase.  However, there will be private night communication.
9. Phases changes will occur at about 6:00 PM Eastern time.  Please use the timers that are provided.
10. The player with the most votes at the end of the phase will be chosen. Any ties will be resolved by randing among tied players. Votes will only count in this exact format: Vote Simonds. - bold, red, includes the word vote.  For your convenience, either bright red or the dark red/crimson color will be allowed.
11. You may change your vote and night abilities as often as you like. I will only accept the "newest" submission for night actions. 
12. Rules are subject to change without prior notification.
13. All other forum and subforum rules not listed here apply. A signup constitutes an agreement to abide by all rules.
14. Mods reserve the right to modkill you for anything we want, without warning, at any time.  

 

Anybody who is an experienced player should be pretty familiar with these rules.  The newer players - we understand you all are new and will be reasonable about it.

Goal is to start the game around 6 pm EST time as that will be roughly DL time for each End of Phase.

 

Believe Chris will be posting a rules set at some point as well make sure to make yourself familiar with them.  Also for as long as youre alive in the game, once it starts, make sure to also be checking your PMs often too in case I screw something up that Chris told me not to do...lololololol

Fascinating start! I must say, I'm really not all that concerned about being immediately lynched. Anyhow, I'm very glad to be here, everyone! I'm sure that nothing can be *quite* as traumatizing as playing a game where a key element is stabbing your friends in the back. I do not doubt, however, the punch this forum can pack.

 

So, I'm beads everyone! I usually talk a lot (unless I'm super busy for some reason), and I like to sound intimidating, but I'm usually not.

 

I must say, though, I am intrigued by the move to immediately lynch someone without even trying to read them first. Is this a very normal occurrence here? I could be wrong, but it seems slightly suspect to try to immediately pin someone. Only a Mafia member could be certain so early if someone is Mafia or not, although it is true that some roles might make that dynamic a little fuzzy.

 

I'm not saying you're definitely Mafia, Songstress, but it is a very interesting opening move. I'm curious; what do you have in response?
