heres a few lines i put on a welcome thread and was told to put them here

infants take all day

to enter the fray

while calvary always save the day

in the dance with jack o the shadows

the archers hide behind the shields

firing arrows with lil zeal

but the calvary we take the field

to dance with jak o the shadows

the calvary rides all night

to be the first at the fight

and the women all swoon cause we know we are right in our dance with jack o the shadows

Running on hooves and bearing tusks

Led by horsemen with sightless masks

The battle raged from dawn till dusk

We danced with Jak o' the Shadows

Strength for strength, steel for steel

We met the beasts with boundless zeal

Into the dance we made our kill

We danced with Jak o' the shadows

Contrary to what a cavy might say

We infants are the ones who save the day

Leaving the Cavy's and archers to play

Waiting to dance with the Jack O' The Shadows

We are the vanguard that leads the fight

We scare the enemy with all our might

Leaving them weeping and screaming in fright

Terrified to meet the Jack O' The Shadows

What's an archer surrounded by the foe,

What's a cavy swarmed by mo'e and mo'e,

Without the infants all would woe

A dreadful dance with the Jack O' The Shadows

We may drink lots and cuddle girls when near,

But never fear, for we are here

to protect all the lil' (cavy)boys and (archer)girls

from the "spooky" Jack O' The Shadows

The task was set for the raw recruit,

To create a home beyond refute,

A place of beauty, life and fruit.

To spite the Jak o’ the Shadows.

Legend tells of a hidden place,

A stedding lost in time and space,

Lost in the war without a trace.

Hidden by Jak o’the Shadows.

The Flowersinger seeks with care,

Riding Buttercup her golden mare,

To find the place if she will dare.

That’s blind to Jak o’ the Shadows.

To her delight she found quite near,

A meadow colored bright and clear,

Ringed by mountains filled with deer.

She laughed at Jak o’ the Shadows.

Here is found the stedding lost,

In delight and joy the boundry crossed,

Presented in sparkling morning frost.

To wonder with Jak o’ the Shadows.

Dancing with butterflies while she sings,

Delighting in the power it brings,

To bring forth life in the living things,

A lullaby to Jak o’ the Shadows.

Her song enhanced the beauty there,

Flowers, fruit, sweet grass for the mare,

A place the cavalry can share.

A home from Jak o’ the Shadows

A task of love began that day,

Building a home of frolic and play,

A place for man and horse to stay.

To defy the Jak o’ the Shadows.

But evil lives and duty calls,

Horse and rider leave the stalls,

Fighting for light a soldier falls,

Dancing with Jak o’ the Shadows.

Return to the Pasture another day,

Come back again to frolic and play,

A refuge from the fighting way.

The call of Jak o’ the Shadows.

we'll dance all day and spend our pay

with the ladies that we like to sway

with bosom full and ankle fine

till lord mat call us to come

to dance with jak o'the shadows

when we return well laugh and dance

and we'll drink till we are in a trance

when we wake we'll march again

to dance with jak o 'the shadows

Leane is great,Leane is good,

I will obey her like I should.

I'll never beat her up,though I could

While dancing with the Jak o' Shadows.

Leane is my vastly superb boss,

Nothing at her I'll ever toss.

Not brew mug, shot glass,or dental floss,

While dancing with the Jak O' Shadows.

Leane is as a queen to me,

i will not make her take the blame for me,

i will obey everything she says to me

when dancing with Jak O' the Shadows

Leane is not a pinjta,

when im drunk ill not hit at her,

ill hit myself instead of my queen,

when dancing with Jak O' the Shadows

I was gone for a time,

Now pass me that cut up lime,

I need it to drink this flaming shot,

Before I dance with the Jak o'the Shadows

You all have missed me lots,

And I have missed you all as well,

Now I am back ready to kill,

As I dance with the Jak o' the Shadows.

Corki, Corki, Marshall, General.

Fearless leader, bravest and tall,

posting fiercely at the horn's call.

He stares down Jak O' the Shadows.

Northie, Southie, Eastie, Westie.

Guiding, shining star like. Lest she

types too swiftly, spelling poorly.

Trapped in England with Jak O' the Shadows.

Sir Horn, Lord Horn. I call him Kisshug.

Suited in orange, holding a mug.

He throws back his drink, down in one glug.

Drinks an SB with Jak O' the Shadows.

Woolhead, Wooley, Mister Wool too.

Choppy, Choppers, are just a few

of the nicknames that stuck, just like glue.

Sheep shearing with Jak O' the Shadows.

As we were outnumbered ten to one

We fought as though we would lose none

My dreams of glory I fear were gone

As we danced with Jak o' the Shadows

And as I fought like a madman crazed

A dark cloud formed from a mystic haze

A man came forth with an eyeless gaze

As dark as Jak o' the Shadows

With sword in hand, I stood my ground

The Shadowspawn made not a sound

I moved to meet the shadow's hound

As I danced with Jak o' the Shadows

I hacked and slashed as I forced him back

I seemed to have the Dark one's luck

As I crossed blades with the man in black

In my dance with Jak o' the Shadows

Yay Colmana! Way to jump into things!. ^_^

Good job!

I stand in land, Manetheran.

See the Eagle, red, black and tan.

Stand here watching for an ages span.

Standing barefoot with Jak O' the Shadows.

And did those toes in ages past

feel the waters of rivers fast.

The land the Lion forgot at last.

The Two Rivers greets Jak O' the Shadows

very nice Odette!!! *grins* I caught the bug and heres another one for fun:

The Lady of the Rogue Knight Steel,

She charmed their foe into a meal,

By dessert his trust she did steal.

To trick the Jak o’ the Shadows.

Her smile deceiving, she touched his arm,

Her eyes misleading, he felt no alarm,

The deadliest weapon this ladies charm.

To romance the Jak o’ the Shadows.

Under the moonlight as they walked,

He boosted of plans while he talked,

Her heart cold, his fate he had locked.

In trusting the Jak o’ the Shadows.

His plans revealed, her part achieved

She smiling said you are deceived,

The folly is that you believed.

Heart aches of Jak o’ the Shadows.

My heart belongs to the Rogue Knight,

Together we battle for the Light,

Prepare yourself for now you’ll fight.

The dance of Jak o’ the Shadows.

Out of the dark her Knight did appear,

The enemies eyes widened in fear,

She stepped away, saying “Kill him dearâ€.

Her hero of Jak o’ the Shadows.

“As you wish my Lady fairâ€,

Then seemingly without thought or care,

His mighty axe swung through the air,

To please the Jak o’ the Shadows.

His axe was met with a broadsword,

Steel laughed, this barbarian Lord,

“Enough of this my Lady’s bored.â€

To spar with Jak o’the Shadows.

In a parlay of deadly steel,

The enemy fought for a deal,

Alas his only choice to kneel,

At the feet of Jak o’the Shadows.

The foe was dead., their task well done,

She winked and said,†Let’s have some funâ€,

He grinned and kissed, “I’ll chase, you runâ€

To play with Jak o’ the Shadows.

The ladies charm, the Rogue’s might,

Together they’ll preserve the light,

A warning to those who would fight.

And lose to Jak o’ the Shadows.

Heres a little one I have been working on

Ill sing a song for you to see

A song as lovely as can be

By the end, Ill not be free

For I’m enslaved to Jak O’ the Shadows

With a young girl it all begins

Her eyes were as grey as the wind

Sad my heart as it sorely sings

Release me Jak O’ the Shadows

Dancing , flirting away the hours

I won her love with a flower

Our love we shared in her bower

And forgot Jak O’ the Shadows

With a start I noted the hour

Ran hastily to the tower

Worried I stood upon flowers

To face Jak O’ the Shadows

Upon the alter I did pray

Oh Great Lord please don’t make me stay

He only laughed and now I can say

I tried to run from Jak O’ the Shadows

His hatred, ‘n malice on me bore

And my blood splattered on the floor

Yet still I’ll cry forevermore

You’ll not have her Jak O’ the Shadows

I returnto her side ev’ry day

Though my work bade me stay away

And to her side Ill always stray

To laugh at Jak O’ the Shadows

Debating in my arms she lay

With our words we entered the fray

And yet every night I still pray

Don’t take her from me Jak O’ the Shadows

We danced, we played most every day

For her love I made the sun stay

Our love would last and forever play

Laughing with Jak O’ the Shadows

But then one day my heart dismayed

My lady love had ran away

To another’s arms she did stray

Raging with Jak O’ the Shadows

Passions fire within me still burns

For her love my heart does still yearn

And somehow the world does yet turn

Crying with Jak O’ the Shadows

Without her love I am alone

No longer do I have a home

And forever now I will roam

Enslaved to Jak O’ the Shadows

I once knew a fantastic fellow

His name was Oz, never dull nor mellow

To sappy romance he'd always say "Hell no!

I'd rather dance with Jak o' the Shadows"

He existed as a walking contradiction

A manly man, he liked beer and a little friction

His tale I'll tell you without any fiction

An epic for Jak o' the Shadows

Off to war his King did go

To defend the realm, he left Oz his bow

Unfortunately for him, little did he know

His subjects were slated for Jak o' the Shadows

His evil brother soon did usurp

his throne, and his best beer with a slurp

"Taxes you will give me, he said with a burp

Or I'll send you to Jak o' the Shadows!"

Now Oz was a good man at heart

So off to plot and scheme he did dart

And find some merry men to play the part

Of enemies of Jak o' the Shadows

Against the evil usurper Oz fought

Joined by his merry men and a lot

of townspeople whose tempers were hot

Trying to escape old Jak o' the Shadows

The evil brother was soon brought down

And joy was felt throughout the town

Oz became a man of renown

For his bravery against Jak o' the Shadows

When from the crusades the King did return

He was quite shocked and amazed to learn

How his nasty brother had tried to earn

A fortune like that of Jak o' the Shadows

"Why, Oz" he said, "how lucky am I,

That you were here and did espy

The usupers plan, and bring it awry

Foiling old Jak' o the Shadows"

"For that I am grateful, and thus ever so glad

To present to you the best woman to be had

In all the land, good sir, you'd be quite mad

To turn her down for a dance with Jak' o the Shadows"

So Oz was wed to the good lady that night

What happened then is another plight

The tale of their marriage will be for another night

Now it's off to sleep, good Jak o' the Shadows...

I'm new to the Band, yessirre!

I'll be here as long as can be,

But I must be gone soon, you see,

To visit with Jak o' the Shadows!

I'll ride swiftly across the Land

To meet the man that takes my hand.

Oh, Light, that day will be so grand

When I touch the Jak o' the Shadows!

He's the one I know to be true;

How I know I have not a clue.

I know for sure that I love you,

So kiss me my Jak o' the Shadows!

Sadly we cannot spend the day

Kissing all of our time away.

Let me remind you, I must say,

I love you, my Jak o' the Shadows!

Our time will be so short, yet sweet.

Yes, those days will be such a treat!

The family, oh, I shall meet

When I see the Jak o' the Shadows!

Alas, there is a time I go.

When we speak again I don't know.

It would be soon, oh surely so!

For I'll miss my Jak o' the Shadows!

Think of me when you hear this song,

I'll try not to be gone too long.

Together I know we belong -

So I'll marry the Jak o' the Shadows!

...Not as grandour, but still...

+~*~+Dedicated to Poledra+~*~+

Part of this Org I am not,

but reply I must or be shot.

For by you, my heart has been caught,

oh, how genly you hold it, my Jak o' the Shadows!

Three long days until I hold thee,

then four short till you leave me,

but for that time happy will we be,

To be visited by Jak o' the Shadows!

Outside town will I stand,

waiting to hold your hand,

we'll both enjoy it for it will be grand.

let me touch you, Jak o' the Shadows!

She holds my heart true,

Her brown eyes and mine blue,

I can still find nothing wrong with you,

let me kiss thee, my Jak o' the Shadows!

Oh how we will be gay,

with the time we spend in the day,

even with it being incomplete I will still want to say,

I love you too, my Jak o' the Shadows!

During our time we will hate the heat,

Snow is what I wish for, to give you that treat,

...Crud! Your family, must I meet...

When I see you, Jak o' the Shadows!

When you speak, all I hear is your song,

your voice makes nothing seem wrong,

and lets me remember, together is where we belong -

So I'll marry you, Jak o' the Shadows!

...I think it sucks...but I tried, and that's the best I can do... *shrugs*

well, in the course of writing a blog entry, since one of my friends asked when the next was to be, i needed an idea. And in joining The Band of the Red Hand, i decided to recite it through verse. And what better type of verse then Jak O' the Shadows.

It has been as slow week as all can see

Not very much be happening to me

Mostly school and work it do be

While dancing with the Jak O’ the Shadows!

Katman’s birthday this week we are glad

18 he did turn, there is fun to be had

Can now go more places, no need to be sad

A night on the town with the Jak O’ the Shadows!

To the arcade for games to play

DDR it was, what more can I say

On a few songs, I did get an A

Dance Dance Revolution with the Jak O’ the Shadows!

More games we play do be some pool

Showing my skill, was looking cool

Sinking the black makes me look the fool

Head to Head against the Jak O’ the Shadows!

Ah but all of this has come to and end

The end of the journey, it now does send

Back into the world for myself to fend

No time to spend with the Jak O’ the Shadows!

Hope you liked it, i will keep working on them in the mean time...

Waiting. Tears are for not knowing.

Waiting, waiting, always waiting.

Sitting, crying, running, dying.

Waiting for Jak O' the Shadows.

So heareth Death, each tiny sound.

He hears your call way deep in the ground.

For when you call, your King is crowned.

Listening for you - Jak O' the Shadows.

So see-eth Death, it is his land.

Each crumb of earth, each grain of sand.

Graves of those who felt his hand.

Watched by Jak O' the Shadows.

So feeleth Death, his touch is ice.

All will feel him, from men to mice.

His touch will burn, it is his price.

Shiver when you meet Jak O' the Shadows.

So sayeth Death "The world is mine.

With every breath, you build a shrine

to my glory. For you they'll pine."

So sayeth Jak O' the Shadows.
