I sort of feel like I'm getting duped into voting a certain way. Like if both scum are in the POE, I'd be telling my partner to crossvote with me. So now it makes others hesitant to vote certain players because they're sketched out by the wagon. Also that way if one of them goes down, maybe the other can get some good credit for being on the lynch and stay afloat with that for a little while in the hopes Town does something dumb like implode on itself.

I'd love to see some read lists from people. I think a lot of the votes in the last phase or two from the POE have been largely reactive and I'd like to see comprehensive thoughts on the roster as a whole.

Marsh - if he's scum I'm gonna lose to him this game. I think Darthe spewed him Town and he's been very clean on his own. All his posts have felt very clear and honest.

 

Nyn - Her D1 track record wasn't great but I can't hold that against her too much. She was right in her Hallia read at least, still pending the others. On a personal level I don't think she'd resort to some of the stuff she's done this game. I hope that's the case anyway. Also 300+ posts. That's mega scum material and I've really only seen a couple players ever pull that off.

 

SK - his vote on Darthe was what brought me around to voting him as I had been considering it earlier in D1 but wanted to wait on Sooh to check in (never happened). He's been stuck on Rand/Dice the last two Days so we'll see from there. The late unvote of Darthe to vote Rand made sense at the time but I may revisit if Rand is Town. This is my secret scum pick.

Dice - playing more defensive this game. Hasn't really gone after anyone as most of his votes have been after someone else accuses him. Generally not a lot to work with. Didn't vote anyone D1. Voted Hallia after D2 after she appreared to be turning to vote him. Tbf I thought it looked bad on her part too.

 

Rand - I don't even know where to begin reading this guy. I've only played with him a couple games and it's been a long time since the last one. I remember him having very against the grain reads that we lynched him for, but were actually correct in the long run. I think Marsh's point about him coming around to the consensus so easily could be a bad thing. He did seal the deal on Darthe D1, but Darthe was also about to essentially drop from the game for a while and Sooh never checked in. Don't want to give too much credit for that.

 

Lenlo - been more active than the other two. His interaction with Darthe early on when he called him out for giving a weird read on Hallia looks ~good. Not necessarily out of m/m territory though. Most of his activity stems around arguing with Nyn and I can't tell if he's doing it on purpose or not to get a rise out of her. Generally I'd think scum!Lenlo wouldn't be so confrontational but I have no real proof of that. He was voting Hallia D1 and D2 and now is voting Dice after sort of playing both sides of the argument. That's the biggest point against him I have currently.

My computer was a complete idiot and cleared all the multiquotes and responses I had built up over the past hour or so, so no walls of text for me :/  To summarize my thoughts as I went through d2 and d3.

 

Hally's train was very easy to jump onto, here are the people that voted there (AJ, Lenlo, Ben, Dice, Nyn).  Of those 5, AJ by Darthe's spewing and by his votes, and Ben by IC are the two that I trust.  I think there's definitely one or maybe even both scum on there.  That combined with me liking Marsh and SK (Darthe spew and votes) fits together perfectly, and I feel really really good of at least 1 in Nyn/Lenlo/Dice.  Now unfortunately for Lenlo/Dice, who I know have also been taking a lot of heat, I did townread Nyn during most of the rest of her play.  She's acting like she normally does, and I feel comfortable giving her a town lean, not so much as how much I town read AJ/SK/Marsh, but still a town lean.

 

Lenlo had some moments of inactivity, less so than me, but he also did point it out that he was going to be scarce for a little bit.  However, he's turned it up in the most recent day as he's come under fire, as has Dice.  None of those are good looks for their alignment.

 

If I did have to guess a deepwolf, I'd have to go between SK and Marsh, they both seem to be coasting more than AJ who seems really genuinely town and more active in this game.

No one should've taken this bet lol, pretty much between him and Dice for today, which seems like the general consensus as well.

 

However, Dice's sudden surge in activity as opposed to Lenlo's surge but after he said he was going to be a little less active for a little bit, plus PoE, and I'm going to go towards Dice for today.

I have to say, I'm suspicious of how your reads all of a sudden came in line with the town consensus. I feel like town!Rand would buckle down on his reads, even if they weren't matching up with what other people in the thread were saying. That's how you acted last game, right up until the moment you were lynched. 

 

I think the only read that I changed on was SK, and I gave solid reasoning for that.  Trust me, I was surprised as anyone else to read up to the point where you guys were giving reads and see almost literally the exact same reads I have (though I think Im a bit more sus on Nyn than others).

D'awww.  In all seriousness though, there are going to be games where my reads aren't against the grain and just happen to be in the consensus.  I just try not to take others' reads for granted and make my own, this time, after my reread, it just so happened to coincide with a lot of other people's.

Well theres only 3 people in the POE and your one of them. Id be surprised if you didnt think the remaining PoE was wolf :P

I have, atleast today, mostly ended up arguing with Nyn. There was some minimal interaction with Dice and I suppose from my vote you could try to figure things out with Rand. Beyond that, not much. Of course im probably biased in this :P

 

Dice, we can get some ideas about me/Rand because of who he voted/didnt vote. We can also get some info on Nyn, because of the early push today, which could look either good or bad for her. 

 

Rand, the only real info you get is how he voted. There hasnt been much game interaction from him with those currently alive.

 

From a purely information related perspective, myself or Dice make the most sense. I know im town, but you dont, so pick who you think is wolfier.

 

AJ brought up the idea of SK as a deep wolf, and its been stuck in my head through my drive to work. The guys not doing much and seems to mostly be coasting on the cred he got from lynching Darthe. Its a pretty good place to be as a wolf all things considered. When was the last time he really, really, explained his reason for voting?

Because town core doesnt really work if we start lynching each other. It's just like in the previous game where i had scum leans and i had you as possible deepwolf. It doesn't mean i wouldnt have entertained the idea of lynching you but it wouldnt be plan A. Or B really.

Because tinfoil destroys a solid town core far more often than deep wolves do, and there's a next to nothing chance that both remaining scum have embedded themselves in the consensus town. Even if only one of the 3 poe is scum, lynching all three puts us at 5-1, which is freaking amazing odds.

 

TL;DR the benefits of lynching the poe are far greater than the benefits of searching for a deep wolf
