Okay. I made a short post about this already but I think it is important enough to restate. The game currently sits at 6 town to 3 mafia. It is now 5 to lynch. please be careful about throwing votes around willy nilly. 

 

If everyone could come out and state where they are in regards to thinking who is more likely mafia and who is more likely town that would be great.

 

Also, anyone that used an ability last night what they did and what result they got if any.

 

Finally, Rhea (or if it is someone else) that got the caroler list if you could publish it that would be helpful.

After further consideration, I have concluded that Daruya's claimed action remains somewhat ambiguous in terms of action priorities, so I will clarify explicitly:

 

If Daruya's claim was true, it would have failed due to death unless she was targeted by some ability which would alter its priority.

@ Verb. I don't understand what it is you need to clarify from Daruya and Turin, Verb. Why is it so important to know why they didn't unvote? I do believe Turin was asleep and Dar gave a pretty good explanation. You, Verb, were expecting Darthe to respond to Dar's post with 3 min to deadline and her to make a reply and unvote based on that reply? I really don't think there was time at that point. And now you are trying to use that to push her being scum? I think we need more than that to go on. 

 

If you read my post, I said these were the 2 that posted before DL, which was after Darthe's reveal.  So yeah, there was PLENTY of time to question/unvote/whatever.

 

But the second post that you are referring to is 5 min after the deadline, so I do not see your logic. 3 minutes is not plenty of time. 

 

 

Read again, Dar had 2 posts, and 1 was ~10 minutes before the DL.  I'm not saying she's scum, just pointing out the facts.

It's not one I'd ever heard of before, Turin.  Caroler. I just reread the description and the scum will be one of 4 names of active players provided to the target. I'm taking a risk, I think, sharing this, but it's one I'm going to have to take for now.

 

I don't die for sure if I target mafia unless they decide to NK me.

I'm a bit disgruntled by Shad's news. I was under the distinct impression that Dar did not need to survive the night to have the list make it to a person. If I had known/realised then I would have obviously protected her. As I understood it the target needed to survive which made my choice difficult. obviously my choice had no bearing unless there were two kills. If that was the case then yay me for saving a townie.

 

It does of course explain the Dar kill now. Mafia must have asked about it and gotten an answer that made it apparent that her ability would fail if she died. Not sure what that does to my thinking about who is most likely to be mafia.

Charis is also starting to look more guilty to me. Verbs post asking for explanations is pretty clear that he was speaking to Turin and Dar. Both Lessa and Charis felt the need to defend themselves when it was obvious that they had not posted after Darthe claimed Harry. I don't buy the "it sure sounds like he wanted to hear from all of us" excuse. Because it didn't.

The figure guarding the platform is so distant that you can barely make out the outline of a human, yet you are sure that ...it... is looking directly at you. And calling....

The priority at this point should be getting an answer for why Turin & Daruya did not unvote.  Based on those answers, we can continue to analyze votes and discuss......but this is a major issue that needs to be resolved, pronto.

I don't like that you made this post and then were gone from the game until after the D2 lynch. To me it is troubling because you basically put the spotlight on two townies. Dar is dead and confirmed and I know I'm town. I had already talked to Dice about the fact that I expected there to be at least one really big character that was set aside as a mafia fake claim so I felt my point was really clear. Add in that Darthe was basically doing nothing until his train built up and then tried to go for the biggest newb in the game with some mumbo jumbo (IMO) mad ethe whole thing look like he was mafia. 

 

Yes, I know that you rarely post on weekends. I think this might have been an exception. Hell I stayed up until 3 am because it was a critical point in the game and I really didn't want Dar lynched for meh reasons. I wanted LZM then but could only get voting support to lynch Ed. Who was exactly rand or slightly higher to be mafia but I had Dar as >>rand to be town so worst case scenario is we lynch a non posting townie that might be a liability later over someone I was confident was town. Turns out that is exactly what happened.

We hadn't seen him at all during day 2 and he'd had absolutely ZERO meaningful input that we could see in the game thus far. That isn't like Ed as a person, whatsoever. See below.

*shrug* take it how you like, I will say, repeatedly, unabashedly and unashamedly that maybe that was a rookie error. As was, perhaps, my unwillingness to vote for a more active player in the game during day 2. 

 

As for the Turin/Dar as mafia theory, I would say that LZM's "evidence" doesn't hold up at this point, unless Turin chose to ally himself with someone town just to make himself look innocent, which seems like a stretch to me.

Feeling a bit awkward of accussing anyone of being mafia because I'm still trying to determine how you are supposed to "read" people. That's mainly why I am willing to side with someone else if they seem to make a good argument. I need to learn these skills.

 

So we are still progressing in the story part, it would seem. Hoping something becomes obvious so I can figure out what spell to use.
