I don't really hate what dice said, fwiw. It's one of those dice "logic" nonsense that only makes sense to him, which is most likely a good sign. Last game he was scum (I think BT game), he tried to butter me up with the old "this is what I expect to see from TownNyn", when I was exuding some sass. So his reply here is fine.

I iso´d Nyn and I get a good feeling from her. There are not as many good questions as there use to be but it could be because she is working. She seems to notice details though. She defends a lot of stuff that others find scummy and I think it´s good in this case, encourage people to not overthink things. 

 

What I really would love is your take on Seph and DPR.

I'm saying this could be reminiscent of Zander's scum game, yes. His meta is to go all in, no matter what, and I feel like when he's mafia he's less reasonable in his responses than when he's town.

For 1 I know a lot of people dislike night talk, because it favors the town. But how you went about complaining about it makes me think you are scum. This also goes into my thinking ed is scum and is probably shading how I view you atm

Zander, it´s not possible to understand someone´s "voice" when writing but I writing this not in anger or anything like that. 

 

First, I am sorry that you are having problems with your health. I hope it will be better as soon as possible. I am happy that you still remember stuff anyway, but that´s not the case for me. My health problems include bad working memory and there is nothing I can do about it. 

 

I´m not calling your or anyone else dumb and you will never see me do so. I think you are doing your best, as town or mafia. But if you are town, which I think you are, I don´t think some of your game works so well. You can´t assume stuff and then go on and on about it if your assumptions are wrong. 

 

About DPR - I don´t think it´s vote worthy that he forgot that he had a pic in his post. I understand his explanation. But he has sort of limited his own future claims with that explanation so that is something to keep in mind. 

 

 

You say that people comment a lot on your play, well they do about mine too, and probably a lot of other´s. In my case it´s because I´m usually not very active. My activity is decided by stuff in rl. I have said in like every game that I play that activity is not based on my alignment. It is what it is. That is why I understand when people have rl things that prevents them for playing. It only means that they can´t play at the moment, not that we can know their alignments. Then I guess there could be people lying about rl but I don´t think many would do that here. Not the ones I usually play with anyway. 

 

I have only talked about the game and your play. I have not talked about your person in any way, and if it looks like that then maybe I wrote it wrong? (Language you know.)

Again i dont want anyone to freak out im just showing how it is from the other side of the spectrum.  People play the way they do because thats the way they want or how rl allows them to.

like when i play on JN i expect pretty much no holds barred and people can and say whatever they want about people and cuss them and make certain types of slurs and the such that in todays society if was said in public it would be all over the news pretty much for bigotry, racism homophobic. etc.  but thats the culture of game play there and those who play there arent people who get offended easy or at least know what they're getting into and know what to expect if they do sign up.

 

And unfortunately with the culture of DM things being taken out of the game is common place in part because of friendships that are built outside of the game and the culture of the site like what i mentioned above about the JN culture DM has its own and when you say something you need to own up to and again theres the spirit of the game and when you know people well attacking them with stuff that you know bothers them in rl is not right imo.  id never want to win a game like that and ive only met one person ever who has more WIM then me in Mafia and Id bet my last dollar on shed agree with me on this as this person is like the one of the nicest sweetest people i know.

 

I dont need to talk to you outside the game about things, ive said my piece and everyone who reads my posts can see where i stand on the matter and my beliefs are my beliefs, my views aare my view and nothing anyone is gonna change it.  Maybe that makes me dumb or a bad person or too stubborn etc but it is what it is.

 

 

To your point on culture, I feel like I should point out that the players on JN using "slurs" are almost always what they are knowingly poking fun at - it's all inside jokes and please don't ever feel like there is prejudice. Their culture is reflective of a sense of humor and when I talk about having the ability to say "enough for me", that is very much in play there.

 

For the rest, you feel how you feel. I can tell you I've been down the road you spoke of. Testicular. It ain't fun. I never did get all my energy back and have almost no sense of smell.

 

I'm going to step back into the game now. I've said what I have because sometimes it helps. I'll ask folks to stay focussed on the game knowing that both you and I could be town or scum.

I know I'm not your mom but I do that to my kids when something is bothering them and I can't fix it. Feel free to wipe them off, my kids do.

But for game sake I will tell you this, my soup isn't Wolfy.

 

DPR- I would fix it to where the father of my kids wouldn't have to worry about more kids if he told me he was finishing a post while I was in labor but back to the game, I don't see the "I don't have a pic" remark as a big deal. As a matter of fact I went back to my pm to see if I had a pic before everyone realized the deal.

 

Ed- I really don't like the whole exchange with Zander where he asks about you being willing to vote DPR, then you vote with a "I think I know where this is going" then the "I thought you knew" or whatever the reply was. I've role claimed being scum and it didn't come off scummier than that. As for your "Tigs, Tigs" comment, sometimes you just have to see the game from different perspectives.

 

Dice- I still don't like that you aren't being as aggressive as you were in Nyn's game. After finding out you were town I guess I kinda put a mental threshold in my mind saying "watch for Dice to be less aggressive than this".

 

Lenlo- I haven't played with you before so I have no way to judge your town/scum play styles but others have implies you aren't living up to your town game. What is response to that?

 

Killa- I can see you coming into your own and that's wonderful. It's really hard to judge a newer player on their previous play style because we all know those evolve but something I'm not seeing from you is that extreme defensiveness. That was a part of your town play that I thought wouldn't change. And though early on I read that you did have it, it's seemed to have diminished somewhat and that makes me think maybe you are scum and have been told to tone it down to draw less attention.
