I think I can safely say from this post that Hally and Darthe aren't w/w again.

Her frustration with him starting the game like that feels genuine, and I don't see her having that frustration if they're teammates. Could be w/v on either side, though.

Can you accept that people play differently? Not everything is black and white and not every person who is town is going to follow a certain guideline, nor is someone who is scum. Just because you don't feel something should be done in a game as town, doesn't mean that everyone's going to feel that way. Liz and I are doing things that are going to try to get us intel, and we play for the long game not just a quick lynch on D1 and hope it's scum. So by saying who do you think is our scum team we can look at that person and figure out if we agree or disagree. I get what you all are saying about cases I really do. But how can we case anyone when you all are attacking us and not even giving us a chance. We've been on defense all day, and it's kind of hard to switch to offense when every other post we have to defend ourselves because someone doesn't agree with our playstyle.

This just sounds like a bad defense of Lizabeth. Nobody is arguing we all play differently. 100% True. This early in the game as town I can only read what people say and comment on if I find the reasoning congruent with my own ideas in fininding scum or not. No voting patterns and no flips and for me no meta as it it pertains to Lizabeth. I see nothing to be gained by a question that produces pure guesses and hypothetical what ifs at this point. Who do you think is scum? Who do you think is town? Those are questions that produce guesses that are usefull later on once more info is available. But this question in my opinion as town does nothing but take us away from finding scum.

Wow,  the groupthink in this thread is ridiculous. None of you see it as a little odd that everyone seems to be jumping up and down saying that what Liz and I have done are scummy? I find it hard to believe that you are all town and really truly can't see the problem with everyone but Liz and I saying that what we've said is scummy. Definitely leaning town on Seph and Cuth right now, but I'm questioning some of you who have come, in this morning and are so easily going with the general consensus of the thread. Incredibly concerned that Tinker doesn't seem to think there's anything of value in the thread right now.

Thank you. Give or take ten years worth. I have to played with most everyone here cept maybe you and couple others. I'm not really into meta for the most part. I usually play by gut instinct. I have a tremendous gut............instinct. No reads yet but people reacting to Darthes claiming vig like it's anything more than Darthe acting out could be a good start. Other than that I gots nothing.

Just caught up before bedtime. I don't have much to comment on at the moment, but I fell pretty strong about giving crusher a town read, and sooh a light town read from some of there recent posts/tone.

@whoever wanted to know about eldrick, i think it was hallia. read his iso in his last game, 1-2 pages is all you need. I have more in my notes and I will wait before I talk about it more as I am falling asleep while typing this, but his scumhunting last game was pretty damn protown. every question had a point, he wanted to get everyone involved towards people he though was scum to get more opinions on the matter. 

by page 27 of the last game he had 3 scum suspects and was actively pushing them all.

 

Here I don't see it tbh. I have seen some pointless questions, and since his 1st push on liz where I think he realized he was reaching and quickly bailed, he has pretty much coasted imo.

Cliff note version, make of it what you will: Liz and I placed a joke vote on Dice and it blew up out of control many of the conversations we've had with people made them start going after us for being scum (we're not) so we've been on the defense all day phase. Liz was trying to expand everyone's thoughts and ask people to open their minds and really think about it and asked who would our scum partners be. So now that's apparently the scummiest thing ever. I spent a large chunk of last night trying to reason with those who were on because they were expecting us to find scum, when it's kind of hard to get things done when you're constantly having to defend yourself. Cuth, Seph, and Eldrick gave us a courtesy unvote, we unvoted Dice. Came back this morning to people who hadn't been around a ton yesterday agreeing that we're scummy. It just seems odd that no one has a problem with a large part of the game thinking this is scummy. It's like they're just going after the easiest thing to lynch in the thread.

 

 

Now that I'm caught up I'd say it was poorly played...don't see scum making this play...unless you're the type to wag it in our face.  Ugh.  Are you that type?  Unfortunately, the comment has garnered the attention of our town and your flip may prove useful to sorting out the others.  Still prefer to lynch Eldrick instead, so there's that going for you.  Where is your current vote?  Still on Dice?

That he's doing it again is so null it's hilarious.

A) Huge difference between him doing it last game and this game is this game is closed. We don't even know IF there's a vig.

B) Darthe claiming early in general is null by itself.

C) He could easily do this again if he rolled scum again as equally as he could as town.

Dice because of his vote on liz/mc.  I believe him when he says it wasn't OMGUS.  I like the fact that he's sticking to his guns and not vacillating.  

 

Eldrick because he explains in detail his thoughts.  For example his reasonings on calling darthes first post null: he gave three very good explanations.Things that crossed my mind but I wouldn't necessarily have put down in thread.

 

Cuth because even though he came in with a rocky start [not joining convo cause there was no convo?????] his posts so far seem townie.

Reads list, in no particular order.

 

Cass - Town. She's doing a good job of pushing the game forward. Asking good questions. I liked her response to my town read of her too. Felt genuine, that she's not used to it.

 

Darthe - Light Town. More aggressive than I'm used to seeing. Willing to attribute that to town for now.

 

Cuth - Null. Still have that nagging feeling that there was a reason for a scum read, but haven't reread to find it. Have liked his recent content, though. His push on Lizclov makes a lot of sense. Don't see them as w/w.

 

Lizclov - Scum. For the asking who her teammates would be. Still don't see how it could be a town move before there are scum flips to link to. Any information gathered from this would be misleading if they were town. Even if the linked person was indeed scum, them flipping town would make the link void, and could even form doubt about the other being scum.

 

 

I don't remember enough about anyone else to have a read. Noone else has done anything to make me suspect them, but they haven't done anything super towny either.

 

Except NotBob. Not checking in is obviously scummy :P

I'm catching up right now, and I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I'm going to challenge you on this one because you're continuing to push something that is objectively false with the bold.

 

I have stated already that I have made the exact same statement before as town. I even told you that I made a variation of that statement in the last game I played on DM when Cory was tunneling on me and Sooh as partners (Sooh was scum, I was town) and I needed to push him out of his tunnel to consider alternate theories and it worked and resulted in a successful lynch on scum!Sooh that day.

 

So either you think I'm lying about having done it as town (and lying about something that would be stupid of me to lie about since it can easily be misproven if it's false), or you're continuing to pursue a line of reasoning that is demonstrably false. You can push on me and MrsClov's for other reasons, but this one is dead in the water.

If you want the answer, ask again. You're the one that wants to know.

Cloviz- With no meta on Liz I got her solid as scum. Purely for the fact that regardless of now, mid game or later that question serves no purpose in town finding scum. I see it purely as a confusion and muddle the thread question. I also thought she got a little heated as she defended but without knowing her not willing to put much weight to it. * just got third breakfast, be back in a while, yay!*

It has its uses after a scum flip. It doesn't now.

Guessing who might be this early in the game has no value not time in any way. Getting a feeling you riding both sides of fence. Someone mentioned you flip flopped on Cloviz already. Can't remember who. You get a null to scu lean. Don't thank me. You earned it.

You seem to be missing the point. There's a time when the question is useful. That time is late game when figuring out the remaining players, not d1. But there is a use to the question.
