Ooh just the early vote. It was entirely based off his play from his previous game, and I wanted to put pressure on him.

Posted

What happened was that NB unvoted Liz/Mrs Clov to put them at 5-5. Everything beyond that is speculation. I will agree that it was a strange move, I just think it's a strange move regardless of what alignment Liz/MrsClov turn out to be. Hence null

It is not speculation that liz/clov benefited from his move. They were the lynch leader. NB's vote placed hims in danger of being lynched and reduced liz/clov's odds of being lynched.

We agree that NB's move is a mystery, yes? And we know that NB was scum. So why leave a mystery involving known scum as a null when you can investigate it? You don't. You start with who benefitted from the move and that points to liz/clov.

The fact that liz/clov was the lynhc leader at the time, and was again the next day also says a lot about their play.

How many people's town game constantly winds up leading the lynch?

I get the don't judge a book by it's cover vibe, but to my mind we're dealing with where there is smoke, there is fire.

Cuth, Seph, Eldrick, BFG, and anyone else who is town - we need to be voting Darthe today.

He is scum. We (MrsClov and I) know this. And he knows that we know this. The only thing he's struggling to understand is how we know what we know.

At the worst Elrdick is 3p who is currently helping town.

And for anyone who is saying I'm scum with Eldrick trying to protect a team mate, consider this: what would this benefit me and my team in the long-run if I am scum?

If we push a lynch this strongly on Darthe "knowing" that he is town and he flips town at the end of the day, what happens to Eldrick and us the next day?

I've already said that I'm not worried about our flip, because our flip will just confirm that everything MrsClov and I have been saying is true. (Don't worry, Cuth, this isn't a suicide mission, this is me pointing out that we wouldn't say this if we couldnt' back ourselves up after death).

But darthe needs to die today.

We can sort out Eldrick tomorrow.

i have an incredibly hard time seeing liza pull this out of her sleeve after someone outs a red peek on a partner

before that she was also all "eld you can't vote kronos we need to lynch darthe"

her reaction was very towny imo

read through the thread after that claim and tell me what you think, curious to see your guys' impression

agreed

You would have to read it for yourself lol look at the first 1-2 pages of his isos and it should be enough.

The way he was engaged and actively scum hunting by page 4. I reference it later I believe but by page 20 in that game he had 3 suspects who he not only actively engaged but try ed to get others to engage upon.

Compare that to this game where he is giving out easy reads for nothing, which also looks good for Cass imo. But he wasn't really actively pursuing anything but rather taking a backseat.

I'll probably pick this up again when I've finished reading through, but it's pointless for me now :)

@dpr I have been either a mislynchef, [three times in a row before I stopped playing]

Or before that would be in the conversation to be lynched in about 80% of my games usually...leading most of d1.

It's OK I know I'm bad at this game =p

DICE: can you post it before 9pm edt please...

ud need to tell me how many hrs away that is for it to be even a chance.

Think about 4.5 hours from now

That is meant to be funny, btw. I don't think you're nearly the terrible player that you make out to be.

vote LizClov

Can swap to Eldrick. He seems too concerned with how he's coming across.

god i hop they are scum then, with he amount of time remaining i don't see me being able to convince anyone else on the train.

alot of my town reads are reading eldrick as town somehow, but im not the best at reading him. His play this game has been really sketchy.

this is basically where i am atm

Town

 Darthe

(Cuth)

(dicetosser1)

Sooh)

Cass)

DPR

slight town

Hallia)

The Crusher)

(Wildfire Sedai)

 (WolfbrotherKronos)

Spoof

MrsClov and Lizabeth)

Would lynch

NotBob  (鲍勃不是我的名字)

(Eldrick4221)

 (Tiinker)

I think at the moment I would rather lynch any of those 3 over the hydra. Notbob recent posts look horrible to me. I just keep getting the feeling that the hydra is town, especially with how the votes have landed here recently.

notbob/ eldrick build some tension and then the hydra gets two votes.

8 town reads on Day 1 and you've got me lowest from 4 posts and I'm voting someone who's not even in your town list. I just don't know. These must be the thinnest reads ever.

wolves are usually the most concerned about other peoples reads like how you just posted. I would bet I have at max 1 if any wolfs in my top town reads. I am pretty confident in them for day 1 town reads. I think its a bit better than the 0 reads you have given. at least people can see my thoughts.

in stead of worrying about mine, how bout you post yours with some explanations :)

Lol

how do you go from these 3 posts to something like below. there was a few others i like as well d2 im literally just so tilted with you tiink....

Up to page 50, Crush and Eldrick are pushing entirely different agendas. Not massively confident in my reads.

Eldrick flip flopping doesn't ring any bells but usually he walks through almost all small details which he shows when he says things like "he wrote scum before he wrote town. Indicative?" and things like that but when it came to LizClov he looked super hesitant to join on her votes despite the fact that she was playing ridiculously scummy and when he finally does it's with the reason that she was asking "who my teammates would be?". Sad excuse to vote, like he needed a new reason to vote her since he didn't want to look like he was "bandwagoning".

Then he changes his mind when she loses heat because of the amount of heat she's gotten but has slowly convinced himself without having posted much about it in the thread - not in line with his meta.

vote Eldrick

I mentioned Crush because on page  35 or something Liz had lost a lot of momentum, DPR voted her to bring her back to 3 votes and Crush calls her a "solid scum" but doesn't vote until later.

I'm going to take a look at NB train later because I actually didn't think he looked to be playing too differently to how he normally does but I seem to be inept at reading him.

how do you go from these 3 posts to something like below. there was a few others i like im literally just so tilted with you tiink....

I feel like I've done the same thing with Cuth - I had him pretty high up, but from my skimming he's gone down

Liz/Mrs Clov Train dies away (posts 424-539)

Darthe (1): Cass (30)

Dice: Liz/Mrs Clov (63 U439)

Liz (5): Dice (65), Darthe (220), Seph (277 U484), Cuth (300 U436), Eldrick (424 U519)

Hallia (1): Kronos (70 U539)

Eldrick: DPR (91)

#436 Cuth unvotes

#439 Liz/Mrs Clov unvote Dice

#460 Seph questions Eldrick about Cuth read (followed up in 461)

#472 Eldrick backtracks on Cuth read - actually makes me feel better about interactions with Liz lol

#484 Seph unvotes (response to Cuth)

#486 Dice building on Liz/Mrs Clov read, looks good - can understand Dice's viewpoint, but can understand the hydra's frustration

#497 Mrs Clovs first reads list seems a reasonable account of the game with some opinion trown in

#503 Eldrick talks about a vote being an intent to lynch (regarding Sephs unvote) but hasn't talked about the hydra's extended vote on Dice after Cut brought it up? Probably means more for Eldrick than Liz/Mrs Clov

#519 Eldrick unvotes while leaving them open still

#527 Tiinker thinks conversation so far is meaningless

#534 Crusher also dislikes 309

#539 Kronos unvotes

Kronos

Dice

Cuth

Seph

DPR

Seph having a split focus here reads really well

dpr- if crusher is scum and you are town how would he interact with you? Is he more likely to give you a town read with or without much question, since im assuming how he is talking about you this game?

crush pretty much the same question for dpr.

I read DPR by his approach to the game after it gets rolling. When he is scum he relies on confusion and adds to that by trolling anyone who susses him.  He does not back down and hides as most people do as scum. He stands up and waves his dick at everyone. The main give away is his approach to the game. I saw a post he made in interacting with Darthe that made me pretty sure he is town this game. I can go get it when I get a minute. When he is scum he will do anything he can to make the game more confusing.

His approach to me is not changed too much,

Well, IMO this is exactly what he's doing in this game. He's been adamant this entire day and yesterday about something that most people just flat out disagree with. I think his suggestion is a bit far-fetched and it seems like he's trying to drive town in a completely opposite direction since it seems like we're gathering quite a lot of momentum. Confusion is exactly what seems to be arising from most of his posts. I want to look at his interactions D1 but my professors and supervisors are literally setting impossible tasks from me right now.

I've gone over everything in the thread.  I don't know what else to look at.  Any suggestions??

Think you have Cass as scummy? Would you mind expanding?

Because in the first situation I'd already said that there wasn't much that had happened that I thought was particularly interesting. So much of early D1 could be faked even with people "under pressure". I also had other stuff going on and didn't really have time to think about it too much even if I had caught something.

Eldrick was doing exactly what I was looking for scum to do by making disjointed connections and being inconsistent with his logic and so I picked it out. Easy peasy.
