I returned only because Ithi tracked me down and asked me to join in, but I kinda wish I turned her down. This game feels nothing like the games I remember.
Cry in a PM man. You say you want deeper analysis mid D1, but I threw at you a qualm with your post style on the last page and you made some allusion to the woods out of it.
On that note... How can someone both portray the bluntest of instruments in their interpretations of everyone else's posts and then respond in metaphor? More than once, in fact, given that earlier post about a method to your madness. -
SD just read your post. I like that you don't get my vote on you. The rest of that doesn't seem to invite any response or ask any questions, so I'm assuming that you're good with all of that and just wanted to make sure everyone else was aware too. TY for that, I am very busy.

That’s a nonfactor imo, if I’m right and you didn’t interact with or sus one another I’d be shocked. You’re sussing but you’ve spent your time fighting Wes and taking everything so literally that I can’t tell if it’s cover or a social impairment. Not meaning that offensively, it’s just hard to read and not how I remember you.

I know the original 3 is supposed to be what you posted before that, but if you're unsure whether it was Heavy or not why would you say add instead of replace when you just said Heavy was "cleared"

Funny you should say this because I genuinely feel like that might be what you're doing. With you sussing both SD and Teph but only really going after SD, I'm wondering if it isn't you trying to distance yourself from Teph without throwing any real shade on him.

i think the peace train got too much traction too quickly, it’s probably not got legs. If I had to put money down EP is the wolf on that wagon, but this countertrain push and the sorta slapstick vote and countertrain all make me wanna lynch SD more. If he’s a wolf I bet those two are wolves with him and the game is solved.

That statement is so... sus. There are many ways to read people. Do you honestly think all the spam posts 2 days ago had no reason? Of course I got reads on how people reacted to the joke posts, especially the one with the photo-shopped wolves. Any reaction to any post can be judged in some ways, and it's intent is to make the game harder for mafia. In early game you gotta get a bit creative at first, especially with limited interaction. But we are now past the point of jokes and the real game is on

for real though, I’m a firm believer in not saying everything you think. I’ve tried playing a style where you make overconfident snap reads early in the game and it’s a tool in the belt, but mostly just to get some movement and see how people react.
I’ve also tried to be a lodestone D1. Gets you great reads but no one will trust you enough to follow them. I thought that’s what peace was doing but he’d have dropped it by now I imagine.

I did not mean it in that way, we are all busy. It just seemed I was a bit too focused on by you at that point in the game and was wanting to see your reads on others, which you just gave.. Thanks for that!

I think the most beneficial thing to do is everyone who is not voting at the point or still has joke votes out there vote on their most WTL person.

Fwiw I didn’t consider DPRs post very impactful in my read of you (though good for my read of him, it’s trackable)… but this post is mildly alarming. It’s the “good for future days” part, why isn’t !townpeace in the moment? That one’s rhetorical, but peace is like to resolve understanding why you think votes, even one like the EP sarcastic vote, are going to be useful if your push for them is tainting the data? Explain that like I’m 5 please.
ExpandI'm looking for human nature indicators. Scum bussing each other or one bussing and the other distancing (which i believe is the case here) don't think what they are doing is obvious.
Their goal is to set a foundation for later when one of the them flips scum and they hope others see the earlier interactions and think they can't be partners.
The last game was won by scum in somewhat this manner.
I'd give Teph a 6 and SD a 5 but it's close. I voted SD because he had 2 votes and a 3rd vote should get discussions moving strongly out of the spam phase...btw SD is still spamming non game nonsense.Before we get into a bunch of back and forth about it, I’ve read your posts. I'm not liking the fixation on early D1. Sure we don't have a lot to go on, but sussing people for distraction seems odd. Sinister days it was an icebreaker, that makes way more sense than anything else. Teph was joking, I cannot see either building a case of any kind on this.
I don't see either behaviour as pro-wolf or anti-town. Sure it is a little unorthodox, but I prefer to look for intent rather than trying to identify people as low hanging fruit.
I don't think this is a smoking gun, hut people asked for votes and trains, and the reasoning Peace has used feels flimsy enough to be an attempt at a miselimination. Sure there is still a lot to come before EoD, so I'm not saying my vote won't be moving.

I think this tracks with your performance in other games - and I have a town read on you - but I’ve gotta tell you your fundamental understanding of the game and overconfidence in it are wildly harmful to any team you’re on. This is your best post because it’s dispassionate so I can at least follow where your head is at. We’re I not trying to win I’d probably advocate lynching you and maybe teph (still might there he’s semi-wolfy) just to not have to deal with how much harder you’re both gonna make the game.

EPs best post, still comes across as forced aggro but it seems more sincere. EP, fwiw, I disagree with your take on the game. I’m hard when I need to be, but I don’t revel in it. Teenage me did, sometimes, and it never served higher level play.

@SinisterDeath you’ve given your reason for prompting discussion but I still have 2 questions:Why not give it a little more time to see if your plan worked before stating what your purpose was? Your admission of your purpose lets the non-participants know your plan and they can slide in with excuses, real or other, nullifying your results?
