AJ not being around made it tough for town to function this past day phase/night phase.  If he could have cleared himself (again) enough, we might have just lynched Tina instead.

I think verb called it bling squirreling. Right for the wrong reasons. Had darthe oegged for so long this game, but couldn't get the support.

That's because bad reasons don't get support. There were good ones, but not plausible ones. All I had to do was stay calm and once you did the emo clear I had to slowly turn my reads on you and a couple others upside down.

Exactly this

gg all

I should have kept pushing Tina dammit.  Knew she was scum.

I viewed you and Sooh said that you were mafia.

@Darthe Why the adamant read on me? Am I that easy to pocket?

It was an accident honestly. I needed a quiet townie and picked the one that spoke last, then people kept questioning it so I reinforced it with whatever I could make up. It sounded decent, at least. But, I did need a read like that to give myself some conviction and legitimacy.

It was a convincing case for "whatever you could make up." I still maintain that your ability to read me is incredible.

If I start being right more often with my "bad reasons", people might start taking them seriously.

Dude, it'll still be blind squirreling.  Good cases get people lynched, simple as that.  I couldn't form a good case on Darthe this game, and he won.  I had a reasonable one on Tina, and just didn't push it enough because I was too busy trying to solve the final scum slot.

Bad ones do too. All the time. Sometimes they are about scum.

Host: AJ was sitting, deeply concentrated in his studies. He was trying to find a cure to cancer, or the missing link, or a way to colonize Mars. Something really important like that. He was immersed, so immersed in fact that he paid no heed to anything around him. It was unfortunate, because if he had, he would have at least had something pleasant to look at in his final moments as four school girls in plaid skirts and white blouses aimed their weapons at him and fired.

A lot of this loss is on me - I needed to step up more and push this through and not allow tinfoiling on AJ (which I fell victim to as well).

That post from bopolis that Darthe referenced didn't help, either.

You can say they were for bad reasons all you want. I correctly read you D1 twice now.

Once I have a town baseline to compare them with, I might be able to tell when you are town as well.

Maybe! I suspect that you'll wolf read me, but if not then that could be exciting, a chance for me to improve in a way I can see. What types you off about my claim anyhow?

The difference is that some cases are convincing, and others are not.

It's a Mistborn thing. You stab someone through the heart with the right type of metal, and the metal spike steals their powers. Then you can stab the spike into another person and they get to use those powers.

Just flavor that fits my username

Ok, Mistborn is for next time I write a flavorless game. I barely knew of its existence this time around.

Actually agree with this. With strong mafia players you're unlikely to be able to form a strong case, sometimes you have to push the small stuff.

Equally difficult to follow someone on that sort of case, but /shrug

The difficulty is real :P

I think the last time I correctly town read you in a game was Cliche

Reading along isn't much better than 50% either, although I don't think I've ever miscleared you

Still not good enough :(

Ouch, well good news is we have a thriving site of a close knit group of players who dont throw too much!

Btw that wild claim D1 was not good for this town.

Btw, we should really talk about emo displays psuedo clearing players... That really would have sucked to lose to if I didnt flip on eldrick, and it woulda happened.

How would you have handled it, if you were in my position?

Disagree with this though :P

Emotion is part of the game, you can't regulate it

Eh, lynching Hallia should have been huge

It's just for some reason town lynched mostly on the train instead of off :(

Hallia and I were tied trains till the very end...what do you mean they were mostly on the train??  How could they be mostly on the train when I had a train as well.
