The Nature Guidebook to Zander is long and boring but tldr he's displaying patterned suspicion rather than just shouting random crap.

 

Dice has fooled me enough lately that I know my read on him isn't worth jack, but his level of involvement is giving me more of a Tarmon Gaidon vibe where I read him correctly for a broad range of reasons than Disney and the JN game where I read him town incorrectly based on a few details.

 

Hermes felt like he was trying to get the game rolling and produce readable material from people, and that comes from a villager at that stage of the game more often than not. In the absence of meta it's typically town play. His awkwardness felt like trolling/having fun with it while still trying to make a read or two rather than wolf awkwardness. I'm not impressed with his pop-in so far today but he's off to a good start from my pov.

 

Darthe might be wishful thinking more than anything else. I liked his response when I questioned his Notbob read and while I recognize he has a pretty diverse range of playstyles up his sleeve he's generally less inclined to make reasoned reads early as a wolf. I don't but terribly much weight into the read but for that stage in the game he could be a villager.
