So actually, I don't know if I was right when i said that he was really mod influenced from last game.  I saw a ton of references to past games and meta in his ISO, and I do mean a ton, but most of it didn't seem to clearly point to this past game outside of the above two which makes some sense to me.

 

Tbh, the ISO left me a bit less comfortable with you Shad.  You reference so many other games and back up so much of what you say that it almost appeared as if you felt the need to cover your every step.  I still have you as slight town I think, but only just so.

 

 

 

The bold is a large part of what I've seen in TownShad. A willingness to dig deep and then to express it and communicate clearly. Am I wrong? Are you referencing an ISO of a Town or Wolf game?

I've no idea what it means for him, as I don't have a meta for town vs wolf shad!  I just noted what I saw, which I think objectively is prob more +ev for a wolf.

Weak imo and I'm not sure I'm following. I just iso'd him myself and didn't really come back with much to point to him being scum. I feel better about him. The majority of his posts seem well-placed and reasonable and backed up enough. I'm sure that reading it in ISO has screwed with my perception of his posts because I remember them being a bit underhanded but rereading them in ISO they seem more genuine and his progression has been steady. I'd slot him into a town read at this point in the Day.

Policy lynch is when you auto-lynch in certain circumstances regardless of who it is or how they've been playing. For instance, I would almost never leave a claimed 3rd party alive. In one game I subbed into someone claimed Serial Killer and tried to get the town to leave him alone. It didn't work...and also he was mafia faking. I was the SK.

Gotcha. I would do the same if someone claimed my role. Claiming SK seems an odd choice. Did you counter reveal?

At the time I was still a spectator. I didn't sub in until the next day phase, at which point they had lynched all the scum and I was just trying to stall for time. Believer screwed it over for me with an extremely effective use of his role. Fun game though.

Zander and Cass are pretty damn villagery, though I don't buy that Zander's as suspicious of me as he's been claiming lately. That or he's just learned to give me a little more space. Either way not lynching there probably ever.

 

Wifi can be a solid town read at this point.

 

Need to chew on Darthe a bit more yet but I'm continuing to hedge villa. I don't think I have a great head for what he did to fool everyone last game, and that's holding me back a bit.

 

Nolder's approach to me is more likely to come from his town game in my experience.

 

Not impressed with Hellian so far.

 

Terrified to even try to read you.

 

Don't really have a baseline with Iron.

 

A lot of people haven't shown back up again since early in the game.

 

A lot of people haven't really expressed many reads.

 

These things need to happen before I'm going to have a much better grasp on things.

Hmm. Reread pages 12-15 and Shad comes out of it looking pretty defensive. At first Nolder was looking hypocritical because he was FOSing Shad for acting without explaining himself, but refused to explain himself either. But when I asked, Nol immediately explained. Whereas Shad refused to give substantive reasoning and kept falling back to insults. This post in particular pinged me: 

 

You're freaking out because Zander's telling you I'm a wolf and you trust his ability to read me.

 

Zander's never read me correctly out the gate in any game ever.

 

I'll humor you later if I have the time, but I'm not particularly interested in defending myself at the moment.

I'm with you irt Darthe. I've got to go and reread that game but tbh it seems like his game here has been similar. Maybe less assertive but his posts in Metal mafia were all interpreted as town after that spat with Cory. I'll do it tomorrow tho it's late here.
