Scum weren't very invested, but they still made some smart plays during their limited engagements here. If Snow hadn't claimed four scum, the Believer lynch usually doesn't happen and the Darthe lynch never happens. I would say we were all digging into each other because the wolves set us up to, and that's a good play on their end.

 

I'm pretty happy with myself about correctly concluding that there were none in the Stedding N1 and later that Darthe and Kat was the only realistic w/w option. :)

Basically they forced us to investigate each other in spite of the game being solved before EoD1. We put in the work and still resolved on a POE that could never lose. I've seen plenty of games where that would have been enough to make town eat itself while inactive wolves ride to victory.

Kat pulled her AtE just close enough to deadline to prevent anyone from thinking for five minutes and resolving that she was still super wolfy. It bought her a free mislynch and further drove the assumption that there had to be four wolves, because it's natural to assume someone in her position would just roll over and die.

 

If they'd been smart about night kills and Kat hadn't had RL issues she might have lasted longer. Wifi was mislynchable if I was dead. Finding a final mislynch at lylo would have been rough for them under any circumstances, but they could have cheesed it in Tel with the mindspike to force a hasty decision.

This is fine - town can have bad reads.  It's a problem when mafia pushes mafia more than the mafia push town.
