First a summary of the game from my point of view, for Cory. Then my current read list. 

 

So we started off day one excellently. John Snow was scummy (voted me for crap reasons, tried to get character claims out of us, and outed the doc way too soon), Believer was scummy (didn't want to case anyone, just defend himself), and Hellian was scummy (did nothing but make jokes and halfheartedly tunnel Zander/Cass). Shad caught some heat as well. We ended up lynching Hellian and he was scum. Night one the scum shot Nolder (who was town) and I used my 1x vig to kill JS, who was scum. So we set ourselves up pretty well for the rest of the game. 

 

Day two some people still wanted to lynch Believer, but others said it was too much of a stretch to think that we had all three trains on scum and started looking elsewhere. We ended up with trains on Kat and Darthe, but they fell apart during the last hour of the phase after Darthe and Believer character/role claimed and something happened to get Believer lynched. He turned out to be town. Night two scum shot Dice, who had been playing super towny but turned out to be a survivor. 

 

Day three the trains on Kat and Darthe were resurrected, and discussion got very heated. Kat didn't show up for much of it but Darthe defended himself vigorously against Zander's tunneling. In the end the trains were tied but Wifi switched and Darthe kind of quit by unvoting, like I said in my earlier post. Then last night nobody died, but we had a nice discussion with ghosts in TAR and I'm 90% sure Shad and Tiinker are town.

WRT WiFi I'm not across her ISO/actions, she makes my head hurt. I've got her as rambling in every direction.

 

Last night in QT she opened with asking everyone questions about how they felt about Darthe flip/where they'd be going from there, and basically ended with a FoS on Pral/Hallia/Zass/Shad

 

 

Questions directly to each were

 

zass:

Z - feel bad about lynching darthe? why/why not?

C - What do you think of darthe's flip?

both: How does it effect the rest of the game for us? Who do we suss next and why?

 

Hallia:

- acknowledges protect on Tiink n1

- Who did you protect N2 and why? (says she may have missed it ITT)

- Why stedding tonight instead of going to TR to protect someone? Who would you have protected in TR?

 

Kat:

-are you wolf?/wolf with Zass??

- acknowledges toys can't be answered truthfully if wolf but encourages her to try anyway

-What does she think about possibly being the next wtl tomorrow,

- doesn't see the wolves killing her off tonight too much WIFOM equity/if she's a wolf they of course won't kill her...

 

pral:

- comments he's been under the radar.

- digests he should let her finish before he gets upset

-says he's been making good posts when you do make them, elk give him that

-would like to interact with him more, adds jokes

 

ALL:

Asks how d6arthe's flip effects your gameplay? why? who we suss next and why?

- Doesnt get why there wouldn't be a Doc (this in response to Pral asking Z for his opinion on Hallia, saying he

still thinks there is a possibility for a doc along with the roles revealed; me saying I have no idea/asking how you even figure that out and Z saying he thought Hallia claiming was Town, lack of WIM concerning but understandable, having a hard time thinking these kind of things come from Scum!Hallia, But seriously tomorrow really need to see her dig in).

Was going to say in last post that having a Doc would tip balance in Town's favour (..stuff I have trouble following because #details#words...) WHY IS HALLIA STILL ALIVE

 

- Backs off Hallia with 'that makes sense' in response to Hallia saying she's alive as mislynch potential because of inactivity and that she's going to fix that, and Z saying that's not clearing but makes sense this game

Here's what I think of everyone: 

 

Shad: After day one he's proven himself to be a pro-town force, and shows mega WIM. 

Tiinker: Our discussion last night in TAR was also excellent, and Town!Ghost!Darthe agrees with me on these two reads. 

Hallia: Hasn't been pinging me and I see no reason to doubt her doc claim. 

Zander/Cass: Still have them as town but after yesterday's tunneling on Darthe I'm tinfoiling some. 

Pralaya: Basically null for me atp. He's slipped out of my mind since everyone else has given me so much more to think about. 

Cory/Kat: I'm not happy with how Kat has escaped being lynched twice, and both times without even being here. I still think there are two scum and I think she's being pulled for by her remaining teammate. 

Wifi: Normally being unpredictable is a town tell for Wifi, but she's channeling it here into (I think) protecting Kat. I'm perfectly happy to lynch her today.

Tiink I'm town reading for similar reasons to Shad. His tone last night (and to a lesser extent here in thread) was upbeat, WIM-y, and pro-town. You could call it a gut read if you like, but I'm confident in it.

I respect him though. The guy played mafia with me before I left the forum four years ago, and he was experienced then, too.

Tiink was my wolfbro in Overwatch and coasted basically the entire game with zero pressure because he kept his post count up and continually made "efforts" to solve the game; afaict he's more villagery as a wolf than he is as a villager

I looked at everyone to some extent last night and after ISOing a few games I said to him he looked way more villagery in this game and Overwatch than he did in Black Metal.

We were pretty chummy in QT and I generally like his attitude but that doesn't make him a villager. I didn't really prod him last night because the environment was fairly productive pretending that I was speaking to all villagers.

 

I need to reread it and N2 too and see how I think about him.

 

I have a lot of things to do really and I'd planned my day around the extreme likelihood that we would just be chatting for 48 hours and lynching dead weight Kat for better or worse. @ Cory you're an obvious threat if you're a wolf because you'll find a way to get out of at least one lynch, but if you're a villager it will be huge and honestly even if you're a wolf it will probably clear up some of my tinfoil on other people.

I might just be totally stupid and missed something so correct me now if that's the case

Tiink's been different here to the other game I've played him in (Disney, wolf) There he piggybacked Sili and didn't offer much original thought, got pegged D1. So tone wise he's different, play wise I've been back and forwards.

 

I liked Z's point about him not being wary of Darthe after being duped and confidence in Darthe read especially Town read being something I couldn't understand at that point.

 

I added Tink seems more motivated to be independent this game than Disney and that's possibly a good look.

 

Caveat that's the only other game I've seen him in, tinfoil that randing scum with Darthe (especially after he just rocked and loved a scum rand) would potentially have him pumped.

 

I asked how he compares to the last Town game where Darthe duped him? But we never followed this up.

Disney was not a particularly good Tiink wolf game and was before he got back into the swing of things AFAICT

In fact probably a lot of the reasons he was literally universally townread by everyone in Overwatch was because he got pegged so quickly in Disney

 

He seems to have refound that mojo

 

I'm just saying, be wary, underestimating his ability is exactly why Overwatch happened
