So I somehow missed an entire page and double posted...

 

@Nyn - I did like Pral's initial reads. It was something different. I happened to think you made a very good point though and after rereading thought Pral looked bad. I was at work all day which is why I was posting sporadically and more so on my lunch and breaks. I still would have gone WiFi over Pral, but 2 hours to deadline and a tie vote seemed plenty good reason to break the tie.

 

On Dice it pinged me that as close to deadline as we were he posted he was checking out (I didn't realize going to worn meant he would continue to post) which seemed suspicious.

 

At risk of sounding like I'm defending Ironeyes (which I guess I am) I really didn't and still don't think voting someone for inactivity was or is the best call. His performance thus far has been lackluster but he also hadn't been around much. When there is something to go on (WiFi and then later Pral) I would much rather go that route any day.

 

On the point about Clov I think Pral's point was valid even though I ended up voting him. A lot of scum will still work at solving to look innocent. Plus I don't know Clov but there have been a lot of comments to make me weary of him.

You don't need to defend me. My performance has been lackluster because I am very bad at mafia. No point trying to deny that or blame it all on lack of time. True, I didn't post much because of time constraints. But that doesn't excuse shoddy reads

@Clov - I said that if he kept up just following along and seeming to not really offer anything original that would be something I wouldn't tolerate starting on D2. It's D2 now so we'll see. He isn't off my radar by any means, but he's not my first pick to lynch either.

 

 

I agree with the bold in theory, except half the game has been basically nonexistent - or at least they were for 75% of the day.  It's pretty damn telling that Nyn has a third of the posts in the game by herself.  

 

I don't care that Pral was lynched.  I care why Pral was lynched.  Nyn's point was true.  She was wrong, but she was wrong for the right reasons, and that's fine.  Everybody else on the wagon?  Not so much.  

 

The fact that more than a few people find Ironeyes suspicious and yet nobody is wanting to lynch him is not a good sign.  It doesn't mean he's guaranteed to be mafia, but I don't understand the argument of "he's not posting much so we can't push him."  Bullshit.  Inactivity doesn't change someone's alignment.  And given that activity makes it easier for be read, I don't understand how inactivity ISN'T at least suspicious enough to warrant attention in a hammerless game.

If you're actually town here, don't take this mentality.  Ever.  Somebody flipping town typically gives very little information, and numbers outweighs info pretty much always.

I'm going on my impression from the thread.  You can say I sound slimy, but what are you doing with it?  What are you doing to prove it?

 

You say posts about Tina could have been to setting things up if she had been lynched.  Earlier you said I could be teammates with her.  Both of those are true - they could be.  But the fact of the matter is I'm trying to figure out what she's doing and trying to figure out the implications of actions.

 

Bold - It doesn't mean nothing.  It means that anybody familiar with me shouldn't be defaulting to that situation.  Can I bus the hell out of a teammate?  Sure.  But if you're actually trying to figure me out, it sure as hell shouldn't be the first thing you default to.

Honestly I understand if you want to lynch me. At least maybe you'll get some info from it. It sucks coming in on the end of a day like this. I wish I could do more to help solve though. I'm afraid my death won't help much.

As I've said continuously now I don't see the point in lynching someone for inactivity when there are better things to go on, especially with so much time left.

@Alanna - I know you just kind of voted me, I wants referring only to you. Just noticed I was high on some lists and wondered at the reasoning. Wouldn't call that defensive, more curious. I don't mind people suspecting me, I just like to know why.

@Ironeyes - Your post seems to just beat some dead horses. Really not seeing much being added.

 

 

I went back and reread the Pral part you quoted Nyn and agree that seems pretty off to me as well. He made a big stink but then just jumped on. Seemed odd. I wouldn't mind a Pral lynch and would be willing to consolidate depending on what it looks like closer to deadline.

I still don't really see why Hally is a target and still feel WiFi is a good place to start D1.

Ironeyes did finally show up and didn't offer a whole lot. Considering he was not the only one (myself included) gone for the weekend I'd rather hear a bit more before voting that way. If I'm seeing the same sort of reads on D2 that'll be a different story

 

 

 

Ironeyes jumping on like that I really don't think helps his case. Continues his pattern of just going with the flow. Especially interesting since his reads mirrored Pral's on Clov.

Can't necessarily fully blame him for the quick vote though since he is one of the higher vote holders at the moment. I'm still hesitant to vote him D1 but if he isn't lynched he is going to be one of the top people I'm watching D2.
