Cass - Last couple of scum games Sili has had here he has seemed just really disinterested and not worked really hard on them at all. I wouldn't be surprised if he's scum this game.

Based on that meta? Or something else specific to this game?

 

What do you make if Shad's analysis/suggestion that Sili is more likely to anti-spew and peace out when he is Wolf?

 

From the games I've played with him (iirc all Town) the things that stick out to me are him being difficult to deal with and emo/defensive/likely to react strongly under pressure when being lined up for mislynch. I remember this clearly because it was Wolf me lining him up and in most cases his response made it easier to get him lunched.

 

Aaand, particularly in Be Nice mafia, he both reacted this way and made an effort to explain/widen his thought process when I made it clear that was what I was 'struggling'/disagreeing with.

 

I had him wolfy for the sus narrow push at me earlier on, but he eventually acknowledged that and the last I saw, moved on to Believer. I took the talking things through with me as a good sign.

 

I haven't got to the self-vote yet though and old meta so... ?

 

Based on Tink's ISO he could easily go any way. Tempted to think Tiink sheeped him too openly on me for it to be WW, and to a lesser extent the same with Believer.

well, not all communities are like that. some take mafia seriously and it's more difficult to get to the point people give up on you.

 

in any case, i said like two nights ago 'f*** it bye' and i won't put in a lot of effort into this game anyway.

I know no reason why AJ would admit to being SK unless he's a jester which I don't think happens in this type game lol. Or unless he's mafia trying to prolong his life. There is a slight possibility that he is SK and is working towards some means that will be in no way good for town but I definitely think he's the lynch candidate.

Villa in Spirited Away, SK who was really convincingly villa in Lost, last wolf game off the top of my head was Haunted Mansion on VS.  Just waking up so I might have missed a newer one.

shad knows a basic reduced version of it. The things he sprouts aren't very deep. It's essentially, if I post I'm town, and if I don't I'm a wolf.

In a nutshell yeah, that's the meta being discussed here. When you're playing in a game I'm not a part of I have a habit of pulling up the post count and PMing the mod with "Well Sili's a villager/wolf" for yucks. It's not fullproof and you can have active wolf games and you can have lower activity town games, it's just a general baseline that applies to you somewhat more than most.

 

I gave a more nuanced meta read on you at some point on D1 but the confidence level in its accuracy is not as high.

 

Basically when you're highly invested as a villager you're an obvious villager. Instinctive but not necessarily correct follow-through is if not then wolf.

Your also a much less trustworthy ally then a VT. A VT has to win with town. You have to kill us all.

incidentally i will now talk about anti-spew for a bit because i've always thought this but never said it.

 

anti-spew is like there's a wolf, or at least you think he or she is a wolf, and he's putting effort in or lack of effort and you're attempting to rationalize what he says or doesn't say rather than reevaluate if necessary.

I think of it as a player escalating the extent to which they distance and build false ties based on their perception of the probability that they're going to die soon.

 

The value of their content as a tool for assessing others post-flip declines accordingly.

Not sure I love Sili's latest responses to me here but I have to admit there a few differences between here and those two Wolf games in ISO. Will hold onto those thoughts until they're more relevant, watch and see how he develops.

I read from Tink's flip to where I stopped the previous night and it looked very anti-spew like. I didn't ISO him.
