well, i don't think someone in a vacuum is likely to play like believer as a pr, but as sk? i think that's more complicated. really depends on what sort of person he is. he has been a little obstinate about his reads. sk's do that sometimes because they don't care as much about their reads. might be just coincidence however.

 

cass - well she took pressure well earlier but that's probably not a tell. =/

 

lenlo - not likely. he's be more circumspect about his phrasing if that were the case.

 

celeste - she strikes me as just a touch indignant at being fos'd. i'm not sure indignant is the right word, but the bigger picture is i can see some of her recent posts as coming from either town or sk. i'm just not really sure how to read her.

And I wasn't joking when I said Lenlo's ISO reminded me of WoW SK.

The fact that taking Dice out would put him back at bottom of PoE himself makes me pause but I'm really struggling to get over the rest of the ISO and the fact his read was DICE FOR 3P - completely separate from possible Mafia suspects, followed by a 'well I'd be stupid to take out Mafia' defence.

Believer's repeated insistence today that he should be considered clear is really the thing that made me start to feel unsure about him.  I think if he's SK he took some unnecessary risks earlier in the game though.

best way to not look like sk is by going ham, and sks don't necessarily care if they win anyway so it's not like it's hard to go ham.

 

and going ham is what believer's done i think.

 

although i don't really get the difference between him announcing he's clear and him announcing i'm mafia scum.

Yeah... well this is a game I haven't played in forever. Last time I played mafia was my sophomore year, four years ago. But I'm psyched to get back into it! Wish I could get back in with a less sticky situation. But oh well. 

 

I've been following the game as a spectator, so I already have strong opinions. I REALLY don't like Believer's apparently obsessive self-preservation instinct, because it screams third party. It's especially obvious how he cracked under the pressure of the proposed lynch D3 and started going off about how we need to trust him and yet everyone who votes him is clearly not the SK because...because? I think those are pretty good SK tells.
