Besie had the same exact response last game at a wolf. I am trying to look at it objectively as she has never rolled town, so I don't know if she would react any differently or not. Which is why I will happily let it play out a bit more. It isn't condemning, but something that makes me wary is all.

eh. I always roll my eyes at it personally when that question is asked. You gonna ask a player if he's town and expect that, what, they're gonna say no? I get that some of you read tone and bla bla bla... her response was honest. But entirely null in my book.

I think the general disgruntlement surrounding it is that charismatic players don't typically say x as town for the sake of preserving their wolf integrity. ("See, I would say this as either alignment.  I said it as town last time.")  They town that s--- up and raise the bar for their next scum game.

 

Not a reason to damn a player no one has ever seen town before, just why it instinctively didn't sit right with me.
