Also, I think the comment you made about bfg was a joke, but I'm actually glad she's contributing and clearing up her slot. Getting good feels from her recent content.

Shad isn't town!Shad. Town!Shad has yet to show up if he ever does. He doesn't feel invested with this game. That we're 103 pages in and I can't town read him is bad.

I need to review Sooh, she's still catching up. Not a fan yet.

Not joking about BFG.

RTE might be town.

I was gonna iso hally today, but my neck is killing me so I barely got out of bed. I'm not doing it on mobile, and don't have Internet at home. I'll get to it tomorrow, though.

I kinda expected her to be scum. Having second guesses.

I'm not seeing it with Shad, Eldrick.

I kinda did too, but actually like that she's shrinking the poe by towning it up.

I'm not contesting so much as I am wanting to make sure people are giving good reasons. Most of it seemed to be that because the consensus is that he should die or because he didn't get lynched yesterday.  Neither is a good reason to lynch someone IMO.

If you ignore the fact that he was the majority lynch yesterday.

But given we don't know why he wasn't lynched why is this a good reason?

As for my reason for dice, it is because his actions don't match his reads.

He had a town read on dice and a scum read on turin.

Turin claimed neighbor with zander.

Dice talked about that we should lynch between the 2 and resolve it. (By his reads so far, he would logically be wanting to push for turin)

Dice questioned Zander, who was already his town read, for more information about the claim.

Dice later addressed the point that he was town reading Turin because he thought the claim was neighborizer. If that was the case, it would have affected his reads when it was mentioned. I don't see how it did.

And after it was cleared up that he was wrong about the claim, his sussing Turin is gone, which doesn't make sense to me. If your reason for clearing someone is false, you don't continue to clear them.

Feels like a cop out to me, and is why I'm sussing him.

Also, if he thought the claim was neighborizer, why would it have to be resolved?

Yet his actions throughout it all seemed natural. He unvoted Turin after the claim, talked to both of them decided on town-town and looked elsewhere for a vote. He didn't lock himself in to voting one of them even though that was what he said initially. I would prefer that Dice answered but I'm pretty sure I understand his continued town read of Turin as well.

Interesting that rte is going so far in not believing the un-cc'd cop claim as to list him as slight scum. Granted that's where he would be for me sans claim, but I don't see the justification for the read unless you know he's lying.

I kind of want to say that's something far more likely from Town!RTE than mafia!RTE

I don't think it does. If the result was because of Governor, like it appears to be, and nobody owns up to an explanation, then that means the role was either used to save rte or to get Zander mislynched.

I want discussion on this. Why was Zander lynched instead? Who wanted Zander lynched more than they did rte?

With that, I'm going back to trying to sleep.

Not a fan of Eldrick advocating discussion on something that is mostly WIFOM at this stage

I talk about game mechanics I'm every game. I like figuring out what's going on. This is null for me.

In case you haven't noticed, I stopped when people pointed out that the speculation was pointless.

This is fair

@ Alanna - I really don't like your willingness to hard defend Dice... not that it is scummy (well, kind of), but because the whole point of discussion is because we just MIGHT be wrong. To take that kind of stance reeks of hardheadedness, or of OoT (Out of Thread) knowledge...

@Laine

My reasoning for Dice isn't likely to convince anyone else :(

There were two posts early on 'not gonna tell you cos I don't want to' sort of thing that I have as more likely town indicators - enough so that I remember looking at Dice all squinty eyed in Matrix when he was so amenable when I was asking him questions (and then I got distracted by Cory  lol! me). I know this seems like a really small thing, but I think it says a lot for his mind set (although this is something I will never be able to use again) in terms of town! Dice not bothering about who he makes an 'enemy' or trying to keep people 'friendly', whereas mafia! Dice does.

His early vote on Turin felt really natural as well, it wasn't 'overexplained'

I liked his conversation with Zander/Turin - although I'd like him to clarify his continued town read of Turin once he realised he hasn't claimed neighbourizer

I have some tinfoil over the John thing, the action is neutral, but he kept returning to it and moved on AFTER Ithi told him to, so no way of knowing if that was something he'd 'bury' himself in.

And I'll admit that I become less confident later on, I don't know where his read/vote on RTE comes from and towards the end of Day 1 his content is mostly about mechanics, although even then there's reads in there.

And there isn't much from Day 2 that's genuinely alignment indicative, I liked his responses to Rey

So it's a shakier read than it was halfway through Day 1, but I'd still say town by a fair margin

I'd need to ISO both of them to have a confident read. I want to call Eldrick town fir his sustained involvement in the game, he can be super involved as mafia but it comes in spurts. I genuinely don't recall much from Rey outside of early engagement, I know he's posted some stuff more recently about Dice/RTE that I need to read in context but was neutral about at first glance, and I'll probably ISO him at lunch.

Hi Tsuki :)

Do you have any updated thoughts on RTE, Hallia, Niniel, Rey?

Posted

I'm conflicted.

YOLO scum team: Rey, Shad, Sooh

Why Sooh?

I kind of liked that she jumped into the game straight away, but will need her to dig in and give reads before I can get a proper grasp on her

With 12 alive it takes 7 to achieve a majority Lynch

Deadline is Tuesday 19 April @ 21.00GMT (due to the weekend). You can achieve a majority vote at any point prior to this.

Countdown to end of Day 2 Deadline

Niniel - why do you think it's convenient for Tsuki to not have a NA?

Posted

The idea for there being only 1 vote train today was originally my idea, one that dice is agreeing with. The concept is based on the idea that rte was saved because of the governor role. If that's the case, and the votes are exclusively on rte, and rte is saved again, then we know the governor doesn't want rte to die.

Couple that with the fact that I think rte could be scum and I think it's a good idea.

If you think RTE is mafia I won't argue the vote, but it seems likely that the lynch switch was caused by mafia somehow and therefore everything about it is WIFOM but it would seem to be neutral for RTE's alignment.

The part about there being no lynch meaning someone is trying to specifically save him is invalid IMO. whoever or whatever caused it could just be throwing out a red herring.

This.

I'm willing to vote RTE, but I'm not very keen on ghost-lynching him in absentia. Never a good idea. I want to hear from him first.

Noting for later

Not ignoring anything. I think it was a poor choice. The lack of good reasoning for the votes today pretty much backs that up.

Throw out "I want to know what happened yesterday" and give me the reasons people are using to vote.

I think there are better votes than him.

Dice, you, Eldrick, possibly hallia.
