The way AJ is second guessing himself in the thread and appearing to constantly reevaluate his reads would usually give me town vibes from somebody (and it sorta does here, too), but I know he can be a baller scum player, so I'm really not sure what to do with him.

Tina, you said that earlier you thought Z/AJ might be w/w. You later said that you don't necessarily think that anymore. Can you expand on what caused the original idea and now what has you changing your mind. 

 

I am asking because I am seeing some potential here as well. My thought is that they are talking about a lot of different things but they seem to be taking similar stances with the exception of on each other. 

 

Both sussed Tina but may not have gone as far to say they actually had a mafia lean/read on her. Now both are town reading her but trying to say the other was wrong for their process in getting there. 

Both pretty much hard defended Hallia against Lenlo before Hallia had claimed and showed her work on it. I was leaning more that Len was in the right. That may be because I am more logical in my process as well.  

Both seem to be more than willing to leave Thane on the sideline despite his lack of effort. 

Both had Leelou as null. AJ has moved her down but I think just for activity. 

 

Z what is your current read on Leelou?

 

I'm gonna try to find your most current reads lists and see what I can see. Actually I would like to see if you could each  post your most current thoughts and reads on everyone. I know is night time for you all right now but as soon as it is practical if you please.

 

 

My read on Leelou is Null.  Theres very little to go off of.  But her lack on involvement, even though sje said she'd be away is starting to worry me.  I havent played all that much with her so my ability to read her is admittedly not all that good.

 

 

 

Lenlo/Verb are on that fringe of scum range for me.

 

Neither have really done anything constructive, Lenlo especially so. This looks bad after seeing how he's played in our more recent games.

 

Verb has asked some game play-ish questions but I don't think they were truly progressive.

 

Atp I don't think they are bad wagon options.

 

I want to see Nolder respond to my questions. That was a pretty bad mistake he made earlier and I know it's kind of his scum play to pull stuff like that. Act confused, etc.

Why did you vote Verb over Len at this point? I know you had them both as options but if Len was worse then why vote Verb? and why hold it there for so long?

 

AJ, from going back over your posts from D1 the biggest concern that came up to me was that you posted and said things but didn't seem to actually "Do anything". You voted Verb early and held it there and then just basically self preservation voted Dice although you seemed to be town reading him all/most fo the day. I would have expected you to make a real case on someone and work at showing what you were thinking since you were in the lynch pool. If for no other reason than you would want to give us your thoughts that we could use as confirmed town after your flip. 

 

 

Thats the thing does anyone here see Town!AJ not doing these type of things?  When AJ is Town hes a freaking Boss, and thats not happening here at all.

You're speaking in absolutes here, as if AJ can't be town and have an okay game - it needs to either be AJ is amazing town or.....scum.  That's not how it works, and you know that.

Tina: liked her questions from the start. Well once I figured out what she was about with Dice/Nolder. Only gotten better since then.

Hallia: Claim makes her nearly assured to be town. Some of the play was very irksome. I would really like to get a complete read list cause I want a PoV that is completely separate from me.

Verb: I have pretty much only agreed with him all game. I do want him back in the game. Even if I have to post more Spidey to get him back.

Lenlo: I liked that he was willing to question Hallia and didn't back off when two vocal players blew back at him. I agree with what he saw and understand how he wanted to pin Hallia down on what her reads on those people were exactly. Mafia will try to be vague to be able to suss their teammates but never quite get around to voting them.

Zander: I don't have anything that is screaming mafia about Zander. I do have a couple of niggling things. The back and forth with AJ feels mostly like they are both going "you're mafia... no you are... " it isn't ringing true on either side. The other thing I would like clarified is his Nolder read. 

Leelou: I haven't got anything bad on her but activity won't let me move her above null. 

Nolder: The situation with Tina still feels off. I know he has posted other things since then but that doesn't mean that a bad push is just forgiven. One thing that I did take to heart from Cory about hunting wolves is that you can't disregard old info when taking new info into account. Incorporate the new but don't forget the old. I'm not sure if I believe his explanation. 

AJ: As I mentioned already. It doesn't feel like there was anything that he worked at on D1. Also the reads list that was vague with lots of wiggle room. It is okay to have to change but have a position.

Thane: No real stances being taken about who is mafia. No real reasons given for any reads. feels obstructionist. 

 

 

I would really like to hear AJ and Z make clear posts about why they think the other is mafia. 

 

Would also like reads lists from everyone. DL is approaching. What is everyone thinking about the extension? 

 

This is a reads list I like, I dont think Thane should be higher than say AJ and Nolder but still not too bad.  Turin has been making some valid poitns and observations. He's moving slowly into my Town core.

Do me a favor - assume you're dead today and that you and I are both town.  Tell me if Tina has changed her play enough over the past 6 months to make really detailed and "digging" questions/observations as scum, when she never did so before.  Am I misreading her?

 

And what about Lenlo?  I feel genuine frustration and town-snarkiness from him.  Am I wrong?

Here's the thing. I am Frog Jack of all Trades.

 

I held out as long as I could D1 to not have to claim and ended up having to lynch a townie to save myself, which sucks.

 

I used an investigative power on one of my suspects last Night and actually got a town result back, which I am unsure of because I feel pretty confident they should be scum but the result says otherwise. The inclusion of a GF in the role list should not be forgotten or ignored, btw - so don't forget this when I reveal later who I peeked.

 

I think Lenlo just straight outed himself right now. He's sitting back, waiting for something to attack, and his arguments this game haven't done much to actually solve anything.

 

 

 

So like I was saying last night before bed, i think all the scum should resolve inside Turin, Lenlo, Nolder, Zander and Leelou.

 

Leelou was my peek, and with multiple roles listed that could screw with my results I would take that with a grain of salt. But I will table her for toDay and we can revisit later.

 

That leaves Zander/Turin/Nolder/Lenlo

 

Lenlo needs to die imo. Out of the other three I would still probably go Zander first for previous arguments but my town reads on those two slots have diminished some.

I feel similar.  If I push to lynch somebody who isn't really doing a lot and has a low # of posts, and they flip town - I look like an @$$.  But if I do nothing about it and he ends up being scum - I get mad at myself for not lynching.

 

 

I agree and it sucks, but there may be an extension in which that problem should solve itself.  And since a few more people have come back in and started posting theres should be enough imo to go off of from that.
