Anyone care to help me design/balance two Advanced games?

Hi!  I've never actually moderated a game before, but I have two in mind.  One is Ogier-themed and the other is based off the Suikoden video game series.

The Ogier one is relatively simple.  13 players, (nearly) everyone is a tree stump, town get a limited (thinking 3x) Reviver with two 1x back-ups that only trigger if the main Reviver dies with unspent charges, and along with the regular night kill scum get a nightly opportunity to extend a voluntary recruitment offer to a stump.  Other roles I had in mind were a "lumberjack" (x charge ability that removes a stump from the game) and a "forensic botanist"--a cop who can only investigate tree stumps.  Set-up would be open.  I'm interested in feedback on whether this is a terrible idea or feasible and thoughts on balance.

The Suikoden one is perhaps excessively complicated.  The plan is a 20 player game with 5 scum, highly limited town power roles, and no night kills.  Instead, night will consist of moves in a (hopefully) simple strategic game in which every player will submit a night action and players of either alignment can potentially die.  Scum will begin the sub-game with a huge advantage but as they die they will lose vision of town's moves.  It's a bit of a work in progress and I don't know if anyone let alone 20 people would be interested in something like this anyway.  Anyone who's played the Suikoden series might have an idea of what I'm aiming for here.

As the self-appointed Director of Games, the Games Committee has concluded you must expand your Suidoken game to 100+ players or rename it.

How many wolves do you need to balance for 108 villagers

Depends on the villagers.  If it's 108 CorDyx's, 108.  If it's 108 Footy and Monks, 3.

Ditched my Suikoden idea for now, designed a 16 player Warcraft themed game that I can't as easily share without spoiling.  I'll bump this again when my turn gets closer and actually pester one of you to look it over instead of falling asleep on my own request.  <_<

I'll always be more of a Starcraft fan at heart, but I've definitely enjoyed WoW a good bit on and off through the years, and when I started jotting down potential characters it naturally lent itself to a unique mafia set-up.  Warcraft is a constant back and forth between the classic Horde vs Alliance throwdown and both factions uniting to fight more dangerous enemies.  I worked that into the win conditions.
