I think we may have been the only team that didn't realize it was a faction game from the start.

If I had randed "Cops mafia" for instance I would know something was probably up

We were just called "Mafia team" in PMs so we didn't know we were "Cops mafia" in particular, though several people besides me thought it might be multiball

I assume every team just got a "you are the mafia team, you are mafia goon" or etc.

But as soon as Lenlo flipped we realized

You definitely weren't the only ones.

One of the reasons we went with the "voting majority" win condition instead of the "last team standing" that DPR suggested was that we thought saying "you win when all threats to your team have been eliminated" would tip everyone off too soon.
