The PR may or may not have influenced the way I posted but these pushes have been objectively bad.

 

I suspect the scum on my wagon would be AJ, Hally, Verb - in that order. Sooh is also up there but has the excuse of being first on the wagon and too lazy to unvote.

I requested redirect not doc protection. quite a bit different imo the person who shot zander made a mistake. To be honest of the two of us Zander was a bit lost in the game and the wifom of whether we were or were not masons together was cleared up instead of trying to continue pushing for it during the day. That tells me one of two things, 1 the mafia team were not confident enough that they could run with the WIFOM case or 2 the mafia has someone who is VERY familiar with my playstyle (AJ and Leelou both qualify there) oh and I forgot to add Sooh in my list. It was my partner's gut instinct and the occurances at end of d1 that stood out as questionable to me so let me go ahead and fix my list

Why am I shaking my head?  Because you are using sheer personal conversation meta not related to the game?  There's knowing a person well from hanging with them IRL many times and therefore reading them well without specific game content.....and there's what you're doing.

Why do you feel good about Sooh being village?

 

There's enough interest in voting for her that I think her team would be bussing her at this point.

 

I've spoken to her for a very long time in a short time frame before the game on a personal basis and there's nothing out of character for her in this entire game.

 

 

The bold helps, btw, but still not enough to mark her town (which you're obviously doing).

 

I really don't see how your marking me not town based on a single tinfoil by Yates is a stronger case.

I'm pretty indifferent on the NK spec myself. Obviously the claim was out there so if scum were going to shoot Zander was the better pick, although I agree that it might not have been the most optimal target now that they've confirmed the more active and experienced member of the pair.

Why Tress or Cass, of all people? Why not Hally who dropped the scummiest vote in the game? Why not AJ who drove a bogus wagon on the cop? Why not Leelou who glommed on to a bogus wagon then had a scummy reaction to a known flip? Why not Sooh who is a walking pile of scum?

 

Tress I explained already. She's been fence sitting all game refusing to put forth solid statements on anyone. Cass like I said, gut feeling. Remember I gave excess Mafia side games for previous game references and the only single mention to that was a short sippet from Tress giving me a "slap on the wrist" saying don't do that. I expected more of a reaction out of them for that if they were town.

 

 

FWIW, the purpose of my initial post was to interact with Tress and figure out if/why she was hedging on her read of you, and I did give a reaction of sorts - I highlighted that Tress was right. I wasn't actually looking to resolve your spot at that point, and I definitely wasn't looking for more games to read.

Yeah but redirect is typically not a Town power. So I skipped through the nonsense and said you were asking for a "Doc." By "Doc" I obviously meant in the generic protector sense. Could have been requesting doc, jailkeeper, BG, commuter... anything like that.

 

Point remains valid. You asked for a Town NA - which would prevent your NK - to target you. Therefore if scum were going to assume that a Town PR might listen to you, Zander is the better target of the two if they are trying to get rid of confirmed Town roles instead of PR hunt. In a multiball game it's a safe enough strategy.

Agree with Sili and others on this. Gut feels was this change made El Town, until he answered the question with awareness of what he was doing, and ended the sentence the way he did - last game I played with him, he insisted he plays the same regardless of rand.
