Answered above - still happy with Alot/EP 2.0 in a scum for now. Only one in scum section that hasn't changed. I was wrong on Yates and Tina's gone, Talya's ?more Town, WK's claim either pushes the Tabor/WK slot out of the PoE or further into scum and AH needs more looking into. Currently leaves me with EP and Sooh at the top of my possible scum list, EP more likely than Sooh based on Alot/EP 2.0 gut but haven't looked at interactions with Tina yet.

 

Cheers for outlining NAs, no brain-power for that right now will look at them and other people's claims/interactions with Tina/Alot/EP etc when I can.

A pro-town demonstration of his power: Have him move that vote to himself.

 

It would show that he has that power, and also, prevent that vote from being used in a pro-scum fashion by himself.

 

If he does this, that would not convince me he's town, but convince me he's got that role and is willing to at least pretend to be a villager for one whole day.

 

And it wouldn't affect the vote tally as much on this critical round.

Note: Godfather would scan as a vanilla townie, or a Nexus role is at least likely to scan as vanilla townie since there are several of those claimed and flipped.

I only get alignment, I don't get role or name. But in games where there exists a Godfather and also, a detective who scans for roles, Godfathers typically scan as vanilla town. No other powers are claimed.

 

So to be safe, Godfathers should claim vanilla townie. Nexus roles, really shouldn't actually claim a role, just affiliation.

from what I've seen most vote thieves require the player to put the vote where they are told to do so. Atleast that's how it worked back when I played mafia regularly.

I'm starting to get a bit paranoid myself. I want to avoid the tinfoil hat but from where I'm perched, Pizza, the weight you are throwing to get EP lynched looks somewhat like defense of AH or Sooh to me. Makes me nervous as I think toDay's lynch is pretty pivotal. We don't need to just lynch a wolf but the right wolf and I am wavering on my EP read. I'll go as far to say that if he flips villager here I am going to seriously reconsider my view on the game as your claim hasn't / can't be cooberated yet.

 

On a different note - why was Yates murdered last Night? I figured Hallia dies there every time.

 

He actually makes sense in his push for EP. Look at what has happened. Quite a lot of people have pushed EP, (especially after his episode yesterday), or they have thought him wolf and yet as soon as Pizza says that he blocked EP and Hallia last night, there is a good chance that one of those put a kill in. The way that everyone suddenly seems to avoid putting their vote on him and is coming up with others they have had their eye on. A few of them are running scared. He didn't vote tina yesterday despite her being on his list, why, not because he was on the same team, because she wasn't and he might have thought it would look bad on him if she turned up village. I did note that after I put my vote on EP making it 3 you swapped yours to AH, to jump on "tinhat" thingy people keep talking about. She was an easy target at that point.

 

Not sure what you meant on the last line. Hallia would only die if the person she targeted was killed. As for Yates dying, killing the two Pizza has viewed would confirm him as town. Anyone else has had enough suspicion on them to allow them to be lynched at some point. He also didn't do much as 2.0 he was active on the first part but went more inactive. Perfect for a night kill, not much suspicion on him and little to look back on.

 

As for no one else dying, I'm guessing, that the killer was blocked or the target was protected or they failed to get he kill in on time(I seriously doubt that).

That's working under the assumption that Pizza is telling the truth about his claim, which I am starting to doubt. While the thread flow indicates that people don't want to vote EP that doesn't make him scum automatically. It's a good angle to push at this point because he's suspect but you have to take into account Pizza's potential motivation here as well. I wouldn't necessarily mind lynching EP at this point just to confirm him one way or another, but if he flips town I think the hard push could be to defend someone else who is also in the running. Aiel Heart looks scummy to me and I think if she flips wolf I get the impression that her scum read on Pizza is more of a distancing ploy than anything else when/if one of them dies to make the other look better.

That's incorrect. Body guards are not bullet proof, they can die if they are shot directly OR if the person they are protecting gets attacked. Also even if Thane/Krak both flip town that doesn't necessarily vet Pizza either. In a game with multiple scum entities it's probably likely that the wolves have some sort of investigative power as well to help them find the other wolves outside of thread play.

Those are possible conclusions, but not necessarily the only ones. It's possible that one of the wolf teams targeted a player that has some sort of NK immunity, for instance Yates.1 flipping bullet proof could indicate that a member of one of the wolf teams also has a similar power. Something else that I've noticed in the death scenes is that N1 we had two kills. One was apparently performed by 'the spiders' and another just a plain murder. N2 we had two murders, no mention of spiders. Then N3 only the spiders but no other murders. I think there's potential for there being a third killing role out there. The lack of a 2nd kill on N3 gives Pizza's claim to have stuffed it plausible but I don't think it has to be the only answer.

Something was changing, coming. One by one members of the camp began to stand and walk from the camp and their discussions. At the edge of the grove they turned and stood waiting. You felt it last, an urge too strong to resist driving you that way. You followed. When you turned you realized that one still stood, seemingly oblivious. You wanted to warn him but it felt wrong to do so. He had been selected for a reason. Just then crashed down from the heavens a single sonorous note, discordant and tragic in nature. It rippled through the woods before cracking down like a whip onto the man who stood alone in the camp.

 

The man fell to the ground unmarked but clearly dead.

 

Such sorrow, that one who should have been a champion would perish to his own apathy.

 

Yet it must be so.

It's possible Krak took Pizza with him N2 and that's why his protects didn't work. Then again, Krak stopped posting after D2 started so I don't want to speculate on his NAs when we can't get confirmation.
