No not really. I think the post is self explanatory, but I will try to go into more depth here.

first off I don't believe any form of content is a dead horse. There are many things to look out. How turin defends her, how ithi reacts. If turins questions are just for the purpose of defending ithi or have town intentions. Etc... you can analyze anything. And my last game with him, yates, cory, clov dice, tress, darthe etc.

I have probably read it 3-4 times. I am trying to study the game and be prepared.

I am kinda addicted here.

My examples, why they aren't in depth they are stated. It shows how I reached my conclusion, my read is just based on the experience I have had with him and how others read him.

I know turin is a good ,and could fool me. It just feels like town turin. its just a hunch.

Tress, I don't think I've seen you this... energetic[/i[(?) before in a game. What's up?

Bored on a Sunday evening, and saw something worth commenting on.

Being prepared and studying is all good. I did the same before I started playing here too

Between the two the only thing I would really consider of note was Ithi voting him, but for the most part I think things have been par for the course. You were mafia in your last game, yes? I think I might go read it just to get an idea of how you play. Newer players usually give me trouble but I appreciate you trying to expound on your thoughts.

If you think you've seen enough to make an early call like that, then okay, but understand why I take some issue with it. I still don't think you should be able to confidently say 'this feels like town Turin' at this point though, unless you think so far he is playing remarkably different than your previous game with him where you guys were mafia together?

Aj I started as town and was shot beginning of day two. I am waiting on kaylee as that game has not been officially ended by rte and I don't wanna be a module.

I by no means am shoving turin in a town slot. I just wanted to express my reads is all.

You're good Seph, I wanted to hear you explain more.

What's your opinion on Snow voting you?

im most really sure, I am not on the same page as him, as the two things that struck me were jokes. I voted her for my own reason. I was just agreeing with tress.

I think we're just waiting for a few more to check in. Looking forward to playing Thane and Nolder again

@John Snow how strong of an indication do you think the 'vote after someone else does first' thing is?

On it's own it's not huge. It's the fact that he sounded out the idea first, then voted after someone else did.

It feels like he was testing the waters.

hello all

I blame timezones for the fact that you people always start in the middle of the night, and my inability to function without sleep. I'll read up some today, and have been looking forward to this game

Morning. I thought I made it clear that I wasn't playing mafia last night. I needed to sort something else out that unfortunately could only be done in the game. and then I went to bed.

So the other thing seems to have been resolved and we can moved on.

With regards to the John Snow vote I quite clearly did respond to it as a mentioned he might not have known about Turin's brilliant idea. It is interesting that he would class that as being distancing however when no role pms had been sent at the time.

Tress first vote was interesting. I'm torn on her as I feel it would have been unlikely a mafia would have poked the bear. Also she's been responding to any doubts from other players like a wealthy Jane Austin relative. I honestly expected her to start calling people 'dear'. I find she's far more endearing and fluffy when she's mafia as she doesn't want to be seen as a threat.

Onto seph. He leapt onto the Ithi vote super fast. He sees my change in game behaviour as being mafia but Turin's as being town. I think he was also part of the conversation in the sign up thread where Turin decided to do this and where I posted what my response would be.

Given that I can't spot a Turin mafia on day one, and even darthe failed to get him Lynched in the last game, I strongly doubt that seph has got him sussed. I think the only way seph would know for sure that Turin is town is if seph were mafia. I think seph got himself stuck in a hole.

I'm surprised there are already 3 votes on someone. They can't all be joke votes. I'm now suspicious of you three.

Why? Do you think it's suspicious to have a serious vote on someone right now?

Home now, and re-read the part before this question. Still don't see any serious reason for a vote. I see a reference to the signup thread, and that's not a serious reason IMO

Which of them do you find the most suspicious? Why?

The two that jumped on the train. I'm leaning more heavily on Tress, for trying to make it sound like a serious vote.

Going to finish catching up on the thread now :)

Oh, and [unvote]. My vote was clearly not a serious one, and I don't intend to leave it there.

Just gonna quote this one thing since it has most of the interaction in it.

Well this smells dirty as hell

Vote Ithi

Because that distancing >.>

I'm excited. It's good to be back

OMG you're here too. It's like we're getting the band back together. Actually can I choose you instead of AJ. We can talk about the vote later and stuff.

Cool, see you on the QT?

Also, I know nothing about avatar, so here's to hoping the scenes aren't relevant

Not sure how to feel here.

Ithi I understand you haven't seen him in awhile. But Why did you let two pokes and a vote go. Me and fufu need mafia hunting ithi.

No reason not to vote then.

I like this, seph.

If Ithi isn't in the mood to kickstart this game, how about this?

[v]Ithi[/v]

4 minutes later jumps on an easy reason to start running up a train, but could just be agreeing with it. Still seems scummy.

It has to start somewhere.

[v]ithi[/v]

I feel like john was joking about the qt comment. Anyone else feel the same? It just seemed awkward.

Now this is really scummy. Once someone else is willing to vote he (she? I don't know you sorry) jumps right on.

Unvote, vote seph

Im a he.

Sorry if agreeing with my own post is scummy. you and ithi are the only ones I have seen that have posted anything that caught my attention. Whether or not my vote came before or after doesn't matter as it was my reasoning to begin with.

Seph, You go from giving Ithi an immediate town read for basically nothing to using statements Snow made to raise an FoS at her. Then vote after Tress does. Then you state that the QT comment by Snow was a joke IYO. (BTW it is be a joke 99.5% of the time) The same comment that you were using to cast doubt at her with. So if it is okay for you to think it was a joke then why can she not think it is also a joke and "let it go".

As to the bolded, that is false. Mafia will float an idea nad hope that a townie picks up on it. Then after a bad lynch they kind of slink away and let the firt voter take the blame. To be fair it does happen the other way as well. Mafia will jump in and take over a townie's idea and Then say something like "Player X made a good case.*shrug*".

So let me ask you this: Are you more suspicious of Ithi for letting the comments go. (some of which could be interpreted as jokes) Snow for making the QT comment in the first place or Tress for jumping in with you after she was wary of you earlier?

This bugs me. The timing of Seph's vote is not scummy. I'd hazard to guess he would have voted anyway had Tress not voted. It was done in a short amount of time.

Ok. Caught back up. The only thing that has jumped out at me was the quick train I mentioned earlier.

All three votes were because of Ithi's "distancing", even though it was set up in the signup that this was going to happen. John Snow is the least suspicious of the three, because he was the first to vote. Tress and seph are suspicious for jumping on for the same reason. Tress is the most suspicious for trying to defend it as a serious vote. To be fair, I don't know Ithi's meta, and therefore can't read the votes in the light of someone that does. It could have seemed like a serious vote to her, I suppose.

Caught up...Vote Eldrick FTW.

Welcome to the game. Still spiteful from the last one, eh?

@Turin - I'm told I'm quite the looker, so enjoy the view

I'll read the longer quotes with my detail later when I'm back home and on my laptop but the one thing that stands out to me currently is something Seph said.

How are you able to make a statement regarding Turin being town when you also state that you've only ever seen him as a wolf?

As far as the Ithi thing goes I'm a bit indifferent about it. I don't think it's a negative discussion necessarily and it has generated some activity but it's not something I would consider hugely troubling.

@NotBob - Why Eldrick?

Why not?

He has a history of scumminess.

Never spiteful.  Just consistent.

Your right I was part of the sign up thread ithi and I withdrew my statement once john snow made it clear to me, and I 're read it.

there are two things I learned from last game. When a mafia game starts, it has started. I think you of all people know that. So I am going with my gut and keeping my vote here as I think its a good read.

Ithi please show me were I said I think turin is definitely town.

Ithi turin was mafia last game and not many suspected him. So it seems me liking Turins play so far has given people bad vibes?? I think it makes you look bad.

If you disagree with my hunch why don't you explain why?

it feels to me I got your vote from voting you. Trust me ithi the only hole I am worried about is the one your trying to dig me.
