Clov for obvious reasons

Difficult when the game is so quiet but Sili looks engaged at the moment. His read on me is consistent with his current 'blues'. The early vote and questioning are a good look.

Yates is a weak meta read because I expect him to be more engaged as mafia.

Zanders hedging on Yates was before Clov started the train, not jumping on is probably a good thing. Extremely relaxed, although this is less of a ell than I'd normally consider it to be since he's possibly one of the more relaxed people on DM

Cass and Tress are null, since I have nothing to clear them on, BUT both are relaxed so far. Tress probably closer to a light town read than Cass, due to Yates interaction.

Sooh seems self conscious this game, and most of her contributions are 'null' statements (contrast with the Arthur game where she wasn't afraid to vote a claimed mason to kick him into gear) :/

Dice seems uninterested so far. I'd expect him to have an opinion on the Yates train by now if nothing else. But mostly I feel this should be a fun group for Dice and I don't feel he's having fun yet.

I don't really agree with your premise IRT Zanders - I would think a new player would actually feel more comfortable lynching somebody they had some concerns on if more vocal players were pushing said person than if that person wasn't gaining traction.  But I can at least see where you're coming from with it.

I don't have anything to refute your statement about Yates, since he CAN be a very active mafia, but his inactivity is null IMO.  Part of being a good mafia player (the alignment) is being able to replicate your town game, and Yates IS very good as mafia...so I'm not going to assume he'd be so blatantly different based on alignment.

For one, asking BFG about the colors.  I can see why a first time player wouldn't know what that refers to.  But considering his mentor is someone who was basically recruited by Cory, I'm a bit surprised he hasn't explained how people format read lists.

think you misunderstood my answer sir

I took it to be a serious question, rather than some sort of rhetorical question for accusation.  If I'm misinterpreting that, let me know.

Am I wrong on that train of thought...?

I don't necessarily disagree with this.

More specific stuff I have in Zanders favour - mentioned guns in OP in a unselfconscious way, 'wolf' question, generally relaxed. This is tempered by the fact that he is so relaxed in the Band.

My recent experience with Yates says that his town range (cliché compared to Arthurian) is greater than his mafia range

Should go without saying these are early reads :)

Possibly, (that specific) question was soon after I posted, Alot may not be around and the only other player to have used colour was Sili who also stated town = blue.

@Zander - How much are you interacting with your mentor?

Alot checks in before work, during his lunch break, and after work, reads up on the threads, and gives me advice and answers questions I've left for him in the quicktopic.

Here on mobile during appointments in the city today. Have only skimmed the thread and basically have nothing yet.

Slightly iffy on Zander but not sure how much of that is due to noob and me paying extra attention to his posts.

Will try to sit down properly at lunch and have a better look.

"I play on other forums, but some of the dragonmount players know me, others don't. Don't worry about it. Alot is alot of sexytimes."

So now we have votes and a train to work with, what do you think?

I think I'm not ready to get on that train yet... I haven't seen anything of Yates' to make me suspicious of him. Then again I haven't seen a lot from anyone to make me truly suspicious.

I find it interesting though that you have such a comprehensive list already. Still not sure why I'm in the orange zone... I am pretty sure I have been self conscious in every game I have played thus far, so...

I have Clov in my green zone, and leaning towards having sili and you there as well...

As for the others I have nothing much to go on yet. Dice not being so active could be indicative to scum, but given he has irl reasons I'll give him a pass for now... Zander seems to be the one stirring the pot the most, which is why it's such a surprise to me that people have voted Yates... Those votes still could be because !Yates though...
