Absolutely, if you're into the sort of style it's presented in. I don't want to give too much away, but don't go in expecting another Matrix movie. Instead, it's cut up into 9 mini stories with, as SinisterDeath pointed out, many of them offering lots of backstory on some of the movie characters as well as the Matrix universe itself. Others are just standalone stories but still interesting and very entertaining to watch.

 

While some segments are slower paced than others, there's only one that I found truly boring. But even that one contemplates some pretty cool ideas. Of course, that's just my opinion and yours may be different. Either way, I hope you enjoy it if you decide to give it a chance.

 

A bit of advice though, try watching segments 2-9 first, then watch segment 1 last. It gives the movie a better flow and much smoother ending.

BTW, I just wanted to say that I think OP has an excellent taste in movies. For the most part, I can only think of comedies when I try to contribute to these lists, but OP came up with some really great gems that I tend to forget about

See, for me that's the one that I thought was boring. I liked the ideas it presented about different ways to break free, but the animation and overall tone of that piece sort of threw me off I guess. My favorite was the one with the "haunted house". For some reason, I get a heavy sense of nostalgia watching that segment. Then at the end of it I feel as though I'm pulled back to the real world and reminded that days past are gone... very emotional piece for me, though I can honestly say I don't really know why lol
