[Advanced] Blackhoof's Cthulhu Mythos Mafia Game- Day 1

I am at a loss of how to reply to this.  It was pathetic and uncomfortable when I was sure he was scum.  This...... is just way too lame for words.

 

Now that this steaming pile of fail is over with, maybe we could get back to the game.

Well then.

 

Really, got just three things, nah four things to say after all that.

 

1. THANK GOD (for any that are confused by this reaction, I was done with Tommy's posting regardless of his alignment, he was being a butthurt troll calling everyone who suspected him bad at mafia even tho his play was legit awful this game and he brought his own lynch on himself [especially when you consider how his play matched up with his role- yeesh])

 

2. If ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE, tries to bring ANY kind of focus on pretty much ANYTHING Tommy said and tries to say town should consider it, I will bring an unholy level of Despot rage at them till they're in the fetal position curled up and crying. I'm legit throwing out every single one of Tommy's reads out the window purdy much, and treating it like he was never here. Turns out he was town, but he was still lolbad.

 

3. Still think the Dap push made no freaking sense, so Tommy's flip does nothing to sway me on him, or Darthe really for that matter

 

4. Wombat is scum, moreso now than before for me considering the way he pushed at Tommy but then went silent while me and Darthe dealt with him. One thing I was considering Tommy MIGHT be right about if he was town was that Wombat could have genuinely been trolling him. Also, RTE goes slightly down my scumdar, mainly because while he was independently scummy before anything happened with Tommy, my read on him was slightly associative later on. Red doesn't change, she still looks hardcore scummy and if it wasn't for Tommy's PGO claim I likely would have tried getting a CFD going to her. Since it turns out most of this mess was town on town violence (I know I'm town, and Cory and Tommy have both flipped town), scum was def lurking in the shadows towards the end of this phase just letting all this happen. Haven't seen Red in some time- hrmmmmmm.

The amount she misrepped people so far this game is insane, and not at all something town!Red does. Town!Red calls everything scummy, the "spray and pray" as Tommy calls it, but she doesn't misrep, not like this

 

My top three for scum atm are Red, Wombat, and Tsuki. Quibby's LOCK CLEAR is rescinded since he never actually came back to offer ANYTHING the past couple days, and is a prime suspect in the "Sit back and let town cannibalize itself" category, but that being said there's likely multiple candidates for that so I'd need to look at all the lurkers and how they reacted to the various events of the day which definitely SHOULD have engendered some powerful reactions for town to use.

Some thoughts in my sleepless zombie state right now.  I might make better sense when I have some coffee in a few hours.....

 

I'm concerned with those who were pretty sure Tommy was town.  Dude reeked of scum.  I was sure he would flip scum.  He was acting like a turtle on its back.  Tommy made himself look scummy.  He was the sure D1 lynch, with RTE close behind.  Those that felt strongly that Tommy was town likely came to this conclusion not based on his posts but based on the fact that they are the mafia and they knew he would flip town.

 

I'm also not throwing out Tommy's reads either; though, I am taking them all in context.  Since Tommy was town, his reads were his own and not attempts to distract us from a scum lynch as I originally took them to be. 

 

Despo's distancing himself from Womby is noted.  I'm not sure the "watch out for my Desp-rage" is a threat that needs to be made...or heeded. 

 

Also, good luck to anyone who gets a toy tonight.  Use it well.

And sorry about the confusion about hammer game. I was the one who made a deal out of the fact that it wasn't one. I was under the impression there were two types of games, hammer games where a lynch is reached as soon as one player gets the majority vote, and a deadline game where the lynch is reached at deadline if a majority is reached. Most OPs in games I've played said "this is a hammer game". This OP says "This is a deadline game". So yeah - didn't mean to spread confusion - is confused.

This is a garbage post, Des. First of all, you don't get to dictate what thread info is gonna be used and what doesn't. Secondly, if you're gonna threaten us with going ape shit if someone brings up Tommy's points, you might as well just sub out or shut your face, because it's YOUR posts I'll be ignoring. Do you even understand how ridiculous you're coming off throwing around ultimatums? The funny thing is that you intimidate people to keep them from doing something you ended up doing yourself in the very same post. Heh.

Okay Des, I only have one single problem with this post.  Still think you town, agree on Quibby, Tsuki and Womby is close for me so I am interested in seeing a case on him.  My problem is that as I recall a LOT of your Red case was dependent on her being scum with Tommy.  Since that didn't happen and I have a town read on her I want to know why that isn't mentioned to be affecting your read on her at all.  IMO you're terribly biased with her and I still don't see it.  Also, going to be awfully annoyed if you call me out for defending her for this.

Let's just move TG to lock clear and never question it again.  Perfect post.  For the record I also agree that this brings RTE up in my book, hence pushing him over Tsuki.  My later reads on them were on RTE+Tommy.

the atmosphere of this game is poisonous, not even sure at this point if i want to be associated with this game given what happened to Tommy.

that said, Darthe, Despo, and Wombat to a smaller point, should be ashamed of themselves. seriously i'd expect that type of behavior form a group of 13 year old hormone ridden insecure mean girls, but not from grown men that should know better than to act like that. theres one thing to taunt someone you think is scum, and another to take it far over the line like has happened in this game.

^Ditto, I feel absolutely no sorrow for that lynch.  You get treated the way you present yourself, that's the name of the game.  I took on Tommy point for point and still hold firmly to my belief that he was the best lynch possible yesterday.  Now that his alignment is known it affects my other reads as it should but I am not remotely sorry for any of my plays with someone who played such a scummy game.
