Interesting to see how Thane is playing the most democratic Vig in history. I might just be butthurt to be on the list, but I think it's peculiar to see a "confirmed" town fishing this hard for town cred. 

 

Might have just aggitated myself higher on the list now, but oh, what we do for the greater good   Still think there is a good possibility he might be a SK coasting by.

I mean, he could be, but why do anything about it now? He's either the vig or an SK that A) has to answer to town for every one of his kills B) has his role outed C) has a big target on his back from the Mafia - The Mafia don't know if he's a vig or SK either.

 

I've read him as town the whole game, so I'm not going to start tinfoiling about it. The best thing we can do NOW is lynch all the Mafia and give ourselves a big enough buffer to reassess him if he's say, still alive D4-D5 and hasn't been forward with his kills.

 

But really sometimes it's just best to "let the wolves resolve".

I actually did post what I disagreed with on D1. It had to do with your reasons, and Nyn was the biggest one I disagreed with.

@Vos: a Vig is supposed to work with town in order to eliminate scum. I couldn't really ask anyone D1, and i made a poor choice, unfortunately. I am not SK, and scum knows that i'm vig by now. So, exposing myself was a risky move, and i doubt i'll see the end of N2. Might as well make the best of the remaining time and try to eliminate the bad guys with town.

First, I don't know how it stops mislynches if we are not convinced that you are town in the first place.

Second, the number of scum is much less than the number of town. So, catching scum is always better because town can afford some mislynches.

 

 

I agree(ish). To the first point, even if one town knows that one other is town - its beneficial. Could also claim (no claims are certain, but fake-claims are quickly found out). 

 

So, if we were about to mislynch a town PR, then he could come and say "eyh! Town PR here! Lets look elsewhere!" without that player having to claim a specific role. 

 

Other than that, I do agree it's not the best course of action. Killing scum is still better than protecting town PRs. 

 

As I said earlier, we're gonna have to decide if he did a stupid thing or a scummy thing. While I can somewhat understand the action, I haven't been too fond of his defense.

Tina has me wondering since her post just after yours. Mainly cause I see Cory as clear town and kinda wonder how anyone doesn't.

I'm suspicious of the people not voting me.  I'm an easy lynch, as I've made myself.  (No, I would not have really shot Tina, given the opportunity.)  I'd say the people pushing hardest on me today are quite safely town, (IE AJ.)  I'm most suspicious of RTE, as he is never afraid to vote me.  I'm normally the one person he latches onto.  Instead, he picks Dice over me, whose claim I do believe.  And also regarding Pral, this from D1 was pretty suspicious.

 

 

Also, inb4 one of the townies says "So long and thanks for all the fish" in his Bah post..

It sounds, though a joke, like he is addressing townies as if he isn't one.  That on top of the stalled lynch today make me confident he's scum

I haven't looked at the possible roles list yet, but how would dice know the alignment of who visited him?

 

 

I wouldn't. I can however take that info and look at their play as well to make a judgement call.

I have five days off work and of course I got a cold and a sore throat. Some people can´t eat when they are sick but I get so hungry. I have laid in bed dreaming about steak and bbq sauce, pizza and Ben&Jerry´s Strawberry Cheesecake Icecream. The only thing I found in my fridge (that took less than five minutes to cook) was a pizza slice. When I took it out of the microwave I dropped it. Luckily it ended up on the plate but the filling ended up under the pizza. Sigh. I´m still hungry. Yes, you should feel sorry for me. :D Luckily I had a good book to read but now I have finished it. Sigh. 

 

Anyway. I don´t think we are going anywhere right now. I´ll hammer Hallia.
